Motsunabe is still delicious at Kogane-ya. I've been to a few other places, but this time I went to Futakotamagawa after a long time. The atmosphere seems to have changed quite a bit since I last visited. When I walked in, it was quite busy and I could only sit at the counter. The menu has also changed a lot compared to before, with more appetizing options. For the nabe, there are creative spicy and cheese options, but I prefer the classic soy sauce. The fried menma is addictively delicious as an appetizer. The grilled hormone lacks a bit of sizzle when served, but the sauce is tasty. The thick fried tofu with sauce is also delicious. While there are no particularly elaborate dishes, I think this restaurant has good seasoning. Finally, the nabe. The broth is delicious, and the maruchou is tasty. Motsunabe is now served in many izakayas, but this long-standing restaurant still offers a reliable deliciousness. I will definitely come back.

From the previous assignment, the lunch menu was the focus. Located in the basement of a building right behind "Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. South Wing" is the "Kogane-ya" restaurant, specializing in Fukuoka-style motsunabe and Kyushu creative cuisine. I comfortably occupied a space for two at the counter. The meal included a homemade fried chicken set for 800 yen, along with a rich miso soup with seaweed, finely chopped cabbage, and carrots. The rice portion was smaller than last time, cooked a bit on the firm side. Kinpira burdock root was also served. The set featured four large pieces of fried chicken, with a thin and crispy coating that was juicy and hot inside. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, making it a perfect match for the rice. The tartar sauce that came with it seemed like a store-bought product, which was a bit disappointing. The frying of the chicken was done to perfection. The pickled vegetables on the side were light and unlimited.

I started lunch service only on weekends and holidays. Located in the basement of a building right behind "Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. They were playing classic songs by B'z, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Ulfuls. I wished the tumbler of ice water was chu-hai... I had to wait quite a bit after ordering. Stamina hormone grilled set meal 880 yen Hormone stir-fry, rice, soup, and side dish included. The miso soup was on the salty side, with seaweed, chopped cabbage, and carrots. There was also kimpira gobou. Rice is free for a large portion, but I chose a regular size. The rice was a bit hard and dry. You can eat pickled takana as much as you want. The stamina hormone grilled dish in an iron pot was piled high. Plenty of large-cut cabbage. Bean sprouts, leeks, and white sesame sprinkled on top. Juicy hormones were plentiful. In Futako Tamagawa, the restaurant I had reserved through Tabelog was unexpectedly closed even though the state of emergency had been lifted. They didn't answer the phone either, so I had to quickly find another restaurant. Luckily, I found one that was open from 4:00 pm. I was able to get in without any issues even though it was a last-minute decision! I ordered tomato skewers, shiitake mushroom skewers, crispy salad, and the special "motsunabe" hot pot with spicy chili (1,780 yen per person). The motsunabe had a strong garlic flavor and was filled with plenty of vegetables and meat! It really warmed me up. I chose the spicy option, but it wasn't actually that spicy, so even those who don't like spicy food should be fine. There were condiments like chili pepper, yuzu pepper, and white sesame on the table, so you can add more spice if needed. Apart from the hot pot, the other dishes were reasonably priced and delicious, so I left satisfied. I think it's already over now, but I visited during the half-price sale on the a la carte menu due to menu changes. I wanted to eat motsunabe and found this place by searching on Tabelog. There were various types of motsunabe such as mentaiko and grated yam motsunabe, cheese motsunabe, and spicy motsunabe. I ordered the mentaiko and grated yam motsunabe for 3 people, but the pot was filled to the brim with motsu and it was difficult to eat because it overflowed when cooking. But it was so voluminous!! The taste was delicious and satisfying.

One Sunday, I went out to drink with a friend who lives near the Denen-toshi Line. We decided to look for a trendy izakaya in Futakotamagawa, and ended up being strongly recommended a place called "Kogane-ya." From the name and exterior, it seemed like a place known for Hakata-style yakitori and motsunabe. We entered around 7 pm and found that about 80% of the seats were already taken. Apart from the counter, there were semi-private rooms for 5-6 people each with an IH stove in the middle of the table. We started with a toast of beer and ordered motsunabe with soy sauce, one bite gyoza, avocado cheese salad, and more. The first beer took a while to arrive, and even the gyoza and salad seemed smaller than expected. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the juicy gyoza with beer. After about 30 minutes from our first order, the motsunabe finally arrived. It consisted of beef shima chou, cabbage, leeks, burdock, tofu, and a simple broth. The motsu was chewy and delicious, and the soup was surprisingly clear and not too salty. It was a unique dish that we don't often have at home. Overall, it was a trendy place in Futakotamagawa with slightly higher prices, but the experience was enjoyable on that Sunday.

I had a chance to drink in Futako Tamagawa, and since it was cold, we decided to have hot pot at Kogane-ya! They offer a course with all-you-can-drink option even on the day of, so we went for that. First, we got a salad with a generous amount. While we were eating, the sweet and spicy motsu (offal) hot pot arrived!! It came quickly, but it takes time to cook, so it's understandable (laughs). Soon after, we got pickles, simmered eggplant, and more. I thought these should have come before the salad. Then we had chicken tempura and grilled motsu. The grilled motsu was overcooked and we had to grill it again at the table, so it ended up tasting burnt... too bad. Each person got one piece of mentaiko (spicy cod roe) omelette. The sakura yukke didn't look appetizing and tasted bad when we tried it. And then came the additional motsu! (laughing) I didn't really look at the menu. The additional motsu was also a huge portion! They added more soup, and my stomach was already full. We finished with champon noodles. The motsu hot pot was delicious, but maybe the other items were just not up to par. This year is coming to an end soon. I decided to have a year-end party to thank everyone for their hard work this year. Since it's a cold night, I wanted to eat something that would warm us up, so we decided on hot pot! After some deliberation, we chose Kogane-ya, a place I've been curious about for a while. It was my first time there. Although they have been in business for a long time, I never had the chance to visit, so I was looking forward to it. We went down the stairs and entered the restaurant. We had decided on having motsunabe (offal hot pot) but hadn't decided on the flavor. After some consideration, we chose the "umakara togarashi" (spicy chili) flavor along with assorted grilled skewers and a salad. I also ordered a shochu on the rocks. After a few minutes, the hot pot arrived! I wondered how it would become delicious as it simmered. The grilled skewers also arrived. Finally, it was almost ready to eat. The aroma was enticing. The garlic was flavorful, and the offal was tender and collagen-rich. We finished by adding cheese and rice to make a risotto-like dish. It was delicious, warmed us up, and was a satisfying meal. I recently visited Kogane-ya in Futakotamagawa. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The menu was extensive, with good value for money, and the food was delicious. I would definitely like to visit again! This is a great place for gatherings like drinking parties, year-end parties, and New Year parties. The motsunabe (tripe hot pot) was delicious and a must-try for tripe lovers.

I use this restaurant because there are not many motsunabe (tripe hot pot) places around here. I only go for lunch, but I tried the spicy miso and soy sauce flavors. If you want something rich, go for the spicy miso. If you want a standard motsunabe, go for the soy sauce. The motsu teppanyaki, or tecchan yaki, was delicious.

I heard they only serve lunch on weekends, so I decided to visit. As a motsunabe (offal hot pot) restaurant, both the maruchou (intestines) and horumon (organ meat) were delicious.

Overall, I think the taste is good and the restaurant offers good value for the price. However, the seating is limited to a maximum of 6 people (it may be tight with 6 men), so it is not suitable for large groups. It may be due to the increase in reservations through online booking, but I felt that it was a lack of explanation that we couldn't apply the reserved all-you-can-drink price for individual orders.

The food was delicious, but it took quite a long time for our order to arrive.

Motsunabe is really delicious. We ended up making porridge with the leftovers.

The motsunabe was delicious, but the service from the staff was not great. They ignored customers. I don't think I'll go back for a second time.

I ordered the standard soy sauce-based soup. The chewy large intestines paired well with the garlic-infused soy sauce soup, and I am satisfied.

My daughter, who loves motsu (offal), wanted to stop by this restaurant after watching a movie. It was full, so we sat at the counter near the entrance (which was quite cold). We ordered the Sakura Yukke, which was quite refreshing but nothing special. Then we ordered the grilled motsu sandwich. It was the first time I had ever experienced a sandwich with such a strong smell. It was so bad that my daughter and I couldn't eat it, so we left it. Our spirits were low, but then the motsu nabe (miso flavor) arrived and it was delicious, making us feel better. However, there were very few vegetables overall, so we ordered additional vegetables, but they were so few! Just a few pieces of cabbage and a little bean sprouts for 680 yen. It was unacceptable. Feeling disheartened, we ordered the Champon noodles for two (760 yen). We asked for a half portion, but it was clearly a full portion for two. What is this? The soup was too thick, so we asked them to dilute it before adding the noodles. A male staff member said they couldn't dilute it because they had run out of soup for the day. How are they supposed to make the noodles then? We asked, and he just said to wait a moment. Eventually, the manager came and added a transparent liquid to the pot without explaining what it was. When we asked, he said they had run out of miso soup, so they were diluting it. It was surprising because we were told they had run out of soup. The overall dining experience, service, and smoking area were all disappointing.

When it gets cold, I crave the salted tripe hot pot from Kogane-ya. Let's go there again!
