Located a 3-minute walk from Nogata Station on the Keio Inokashira Line, along Route 427, is the Thai restaurant "Yung Khaw." I visited for lunch in mid-August for the first time. The name of the restaurant written in Thai on the wall gives a stylish feel. The restaurant is run by a Thai mom, and with limited space inside, I initially thought it was a takeout-only place. The lunch menu for the day was either Green Curry or Gapao Rice, with the Gapao Rice (880 yen) being my choice. It was supposed to come with soup as well, but they weren't prepared that day, so they offered a discount instead. I was directed to sit at the 3-seat counter inside, where the rice was already being served on plates! I realized that eating in was an option. The Gapao Rice, made with minced chicken and holy basil, was delicious with a rich sauce that had a good kick to it. I enjoyed mixing the rice, Gapao, and fried egg together. The friendly mom shared plans for expanding the space and adding outdoor counter seating for standing customers. I look forward to visiting again in the evening. Thank you for the meal.

The menu is not extensive, but the authentic Thai cuisine is very delicious.
