Today's lunch at Ramen Kagetsu Arashi was the Aragencots Ramen Shoyu Men, which apparently has changed, but I'm not quite sure how. It was delicious as usual. I asked for one clove of garlic, but they gave me three. Gotta stock up on breath mints now!

Today's lunch was the Spicy Curry Ramen from Raamen Kagetsu Arashi. This is my second time trying it, and this time I added spinach as a topping. It was delicious! Last time I sweated a lot from the spiciness, but this time I seem to be okay. It was really tasty!

Today's lunch was the much anticipated limited-time SPICE CURRY RAMEN from Higashi Ikebukuro Ramen Kagetsu Arashi, released on 8/2. The super spicy curry soup was delicious with a rich flavor from the first bite. The thick noodles and plenty of vegetables and meat made it very satisfying. I will definitely come back for more. Also got a Roja T-shirt with points I saved up.

Today's holiday lunch was at Raamen Kagetsu Arashi, where I had the Hiyashi Chuka Soba Honoka for 820 yen. I ordered extra crunchy green onions as a service topping, and also requested extra spicy pot leeks and bean sprouts. The Hiyashi Chuka Soba at Kagetsu Arashi is cheap and just a basic cold noodle dish, but I really like it because it's delicious.

Today's lunch was the mysterious Tantanmen for 920 yen at Raamen Kagetsu Arashi. I ordered it with three toppings: spinach, a slice of garlic, and a boiled egg. It wasn't too spicy, more on the mild side, and quite delicious. Despite the scorching heat, I decided to go for hot noodles. I can't stop sweating, but it was worth it!

Today's lunch was the limited-time Ma Po Ramen Arashi at Raamen Kagetsu Arashi for 980 yen with a coupon for a half-boiled seasoned egg topping. It was tasty but didn't have a strong flavor profile, just average. It did warm me up though. I probably won't repeat this one.

Today's Sunday working lunch was ramen from Kagetsu Arashi with garlic and spinach toppings. Breath care is a must after this! However, it's surprising that they still have it even though it was a limited edition released in March. Maybe it's not popular? It's delicious, but it's a shame.

I visited for lunch on the weekend. I purchased the Daruma Ambassador Gunma Tonkotsu Ramen for 980 yen at the ticket machine inside the restaurant. I also used a coupon from the Hanatsuki Arashi app (free topping) to get a flavored egg. The ramen already came with half a flavored egg, but I love flavored eggs so I chose that. The seating was for 4 people, so I could relax. The ramen was brought to me a few minutes after being seated. The soup was creamy and delicious without being too rich. The noodles were straight, medium-thin, and cooked just right with a good texture that paired well with the soup. The toppings included half a flavored egg, chashu, menma, and green onions, with a side of pickled mustard greens, red pickled ginger, and ground sesame. The chashu was thinly sliced and easy to eat, with a texture and flavor that I enjoyed. It was made from shoulder loin. The ground sesame added a nice touch to the soup, making it even more delicious. The pickled mustard greens and red pickled ginger provided a nice change of taste. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch at Kagetsu Arashi features a collaboration with Daruma Taishi: Gunma pork bone ramen for 980 yen. You can add an extra serving of noodles for 150 yen. The spinach topping comes in a separate dish. The rich and thick pork bone soup is flavorful and aromatic. The medium-thin straight noodles complement the soup well. I enjoyed changing up the flavors with extra noodles, garlic, and toppings until the very end.

Today's lunch was the limited menu item at Raamen Kagetsu Arashi, the Tonkotsu Ramen Ginjiro BLACK. I thought it would have more punch with the mar oil, but it was quite ordinary. Well, it comes with a boiled egg so maybe it's a good deal... The curry ramen was amazing though. After finishing, I realized that there was no red pickled ginger in it. What a shame.

In honor of Leiji Matsumoto, I tried ramen rice. I usually don't do this, but I realized that when you mix rice with ramen, the saltiness becomes milder and the taste becomes gentle. My three sons also enjoyed the ramen rice.

Tried the Shin Genkotsu ramen collaboration with Shota Iida. They pride themselves on no chemical seasonings, sauce, or oil. The appearance may confuse you - is it salt ramen? Tonkotsu? First, let's talk about the soup. Light yet flavorful, you'll doubt that they didn't use any sauce. The noodles were unexpectedly medium-thick, I personally prefer thinner noodles. The chashu was thinly sliced and light. Due to the light soup, I could sense a slight porky smell in the meat. Overall, it was relatively tasty, but since it's not close to my home, I don't feel the need to revisit. They have a wide menu, so if I do go back, I'd like to try a different dish.

I visited the long-awaited Kin no Kura Fuku Kaeri to eat. It was a limited-time offer, so I was determined to go before it ended, and today was the day. The main branch in Shinjuku, featured in the Michelin guide, always had long lines, making it difficult to visit, but I was looking forward to trying the red snapper and clam salt ramen at Hanatsuki Arashi, which was more accessible. Today's lunch was solo. Without my partner, I nervously purchased my meal ticket. I bought a 1,000 yen ticket. It was a Saturday lunchtime, but the sudden rain meant the shop was relatively empty. There were no customers at the counter seats, so I was seated there. My impression of the long-awaited ramen was that the owner's pursuit of "exploring the complexity of ramen, understanding and calculating all the ingredients, and experiencing taste changes with each bite" was strongly conveyed! The use of unusual ingredients such as arugula, basil, tomato sauce, and premium porcini created a very elegant flavor. The combination allowed me to feel the taste change with each mouthful. The roast pork belly and shoulder roast pork were surely even more delicious at the main branch, I am convinced. The whole wheat thin noodles slid smoothly, but it only fueled my desire to try the real thing at the main branch. The aroma of the red snapper and clam from the first serving continued until the end. The temperature of the soup was not very high, but it was exquisite. I'm glad I came to eat this bowl first. Thank you for the meal.

■Visit Date: April 3, 2022■Items Received: Miso Ramen, Gyoza and Pork Rice Set■MEMOVisited on April 3, 2022. Today, I ordered the Miso Ramen and Gyoza with Pork Rice Set based on my appetite. I always enjoy the consistent taste here, it never disappoints. I like to add the ramen sauce midway for a change in flavor, spreading the aroma of garlic. The gyoza and pork rice complemented the meal perfectly, leaving me fully satisfied and content. The restaurant is located straight ahead towards Kuramae, so I plan to head back to the hotel after a satisfying meal.■Bloghttps://ay-style.net/

I think Ramen Kagetsu Arashi is a franchise chain ramen restaurant. It has expanded its stores from Hokkaido to Okinawa, with over 230 locations nationwide. I used to visit the one near my previous company office 3-4 times a month. They have collaborated with famous ramen shops for their menu items for a long time. Unfortunately, I don't have the chance to visit anymore as there is no restaurant near my home or office. I wanted to try their collaboration with a famous ramen shop in Yugawara, which was a hot topic on Instagram, but couldn't find the opportunity. I have been to Sapporo around 10 times for work, and visited the ramen shop Keyaki about 3 times. I really love their miso ramen. I wanted to try Keyaki's ramen at Kagetsu Arashi, but couldn't find the right timing at the location in Edogawa Bridge. However, when I visited Asakusabashi another day, I found a Kagetsu Arashi nearby and decided to try it. The miso ramen there is delicious, with a rich flavor, sweetness, smooth soup, and chewy noodles, just like the tasty miso ramen I imagine from Sapporo. While opinions may vary on collaboration menu items with famous shops, I appreciate their efforts to create an environment where you can easily enjoy delicious ramen. I wish there was a Kagetsu Arashi near my home.

- Order: Arashi Genkotsu Ramen (720 yen) and Water Dumplings Set (300 yen) - The most popular ramen is the pork bone ramen with plenty of back fat. The thin noodles are well coated with pork bone soy sauce. Toppings include thin slices of char siu, boiled egg, seaweed, and menma. The set was just the right amount in terms of volume. - Miscellaneous: I always seem to eat teppan Italian food, so this was my first time trying ramen.

On Sunday night at 7:30pm, I visited Hanatsuki Arashi with two friends. This time, I tried their limited-time special shioraa ramen. I won't be evaluating their regular menu. I was curious about the collaboration ramen with Iida Shoten, a famous ramen shop in Yugawara. I would like to visit Iida Shoten in Yugawara someday, but for now, I decided to enjoy the experience at Hanatsuki. When we placed our order, we were given a thank you letter from the owner of Iida Shoten. The ramen arrived in about 10 minutes. The soup was clear and looked delicious. The taste was amazing! It has been a while since I had such delicious ramen. The thin noodles paired perfectly with the flavorful soup. I ordered the chashu ramen, and even though the chashu slices were thin, they were delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. However, the prices are quite high. The regular ramen is over 1000 yen, and the chashu ramen is 1380 yen. It's definitely a high-end ramen, but I think it's worth trying despite the high price.

I visited "Shioraa Men Iida Shoten -A New Door-" for a limited time from October 6th. I was disappointed last time because I was too laid back about the soy sauce version and it ended. This time, I went early! I have had Iida Shoten's soy sauce ramen at the main store in Yugawara before, and I have also ordered their soy sauce ramen for delivery dozens of times. However, this was actually my first time trying their salt ramen. I waited nervously and excitedly for my bowl to arrive. While waiting, I read the explanation sheet that the owner distributes to each person who orders. I think Mr. Iida, the owner, is a wonderful person who never forgets to research and challenge himself. Even though the shop has become popular, you can feel his passionate dedication to each bowl. When my bowl arrived, I first tasted the soup. The Christmas salt and chicken oil blended perfectly, and as I continued eating, the fat from the chashu blended with the soup, creating a delightful change in flavor. The noodles were cooked soft and firm, pairing excellently with the soup. Iida Shoten's unique rare chashu was also tender and very delicious. At 1,180 yen, it may be a bit pricey, but it's worth trying. Thank you for the meal! (^^)/

I had heard that there was a collaboration between Iida Shoten and Kagetsu Arashi, offering Iida Shoten's ramen at Kagetsu Arashi for a limited time. Finally, I had the chance to visit. However, when I went to the ticket machine inside, it said, "This store does not offer this item." I guess the limited time collaboration had ended. Feeling a bit disappointed, I decided to try the Sakamoto Ryoma ramen instead of Iida Shoten's. The soup was a blend of pork bone and seafood, inspired by the Satsuma-Choshu Alliance. The thick noodles had a satisfying chewiness that paired well with the soup. The tender pork char siu with a smoky flavor was also delicious. It was a great meal.
