Every store in the summer store is freezing cold. I expected that oden wouldn't be crowded in the summer since it's usually busy in winter, so I made a reservation at the counter. It was Friday night, but there were only about three groups. We were able to relax and enjoy our time. The oden took a little time to be served because it was cooked after ordering, but the elegant broth was very delicious. There were also some unique options which made it fun. The rolled omelette had a gentle flavor and was delicious. For dessert, we had matcha creme brulee. The crispy surface was amazing.

I visited the Ginza store after enjoying the food at the Shin-Marunouchi Building store the other day. While the Shin-Marunouchi store does not accept phone reservations, this one does, which is convenient. The oden menu is the same as the Shin-Marunouchi store. Other menu items are slightly different. Of course, the oden at this store is also wonderful and makes you happy. The oyster oden is also fantastic.

If you walk through the alleys of Ginza, you will see traditional lanterns and find a place for a late-night drink. Red lanterns are becoming rare. On the way back home, you may find yourself stopping by a shop. - Oden with daikon radish, kelp, and konjac noodles has a refined taste. - Myoga and eggplant: taste is okay, but a bit weak. - Grilled sardines: too salty. - Udon noodles with sesame sauce: the origin of "career advancement" udon is unknown, but it seems to bring good luck.

On a cold day, I visited a hidden alley in Ginza thinking of having oden. The location was fantastic, giving off a Showa-era Ginza vibe with a sophisticated atmosphere. I enjoyed delicious oden with a flavorful broth. The portion was just right for women, and they also had a variety of izakaya dishes that made the meal enjoyable. Thank you for the feast.

After watching a movie in Hibiya, I had oden in Ginza. It was still open before 6:00 pm, and I was able to enjoy a warm meal. The handmade hanpen was different from what I had known before, both in appearance and taste. The sesame sauce udon for the finishing touch was also delicious.

In Ginza 7-chome, I visited a cool oden restaurant located in a narrow alley for my second stop. After drinking quite a bit, I had a beer and their specialty oyster oden. The clear broth was delicious! The chawanmushi and otoshi were also quite good, with a wide variety of menu options. I would like to visit this oden restaurant again at a leisurely pace. It seems they also have shops in Ochanomizu and Marunouchi. It was delicious, thank you for the meal!

I visited "Konakara Ginza" located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. The place is a 5-minute walk from Ginza Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, inside the Asta Plaza Building on the 1st floor. The restaurant is not very spacious, but the high ceiling prevents it from feeling cramped. There are counter seats, table seats, and private rooms available. This is a branch of "Konakara" in Ochanomizu, which was selected as a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2021.
The dishes I tried are as follows:
- Specialty: Oyster Oden. The plump oysters soaked in a gentle broth were delicious, living up to their reputation as a specialty.
- Oden contents: Kyoto ganmo, fresh egg, iwashi tsukune, daikon. Personally, I enjoyed the aroma, softness, and depth of flavor when eating the iwashi tsukune.
- Dashimaki Tamago (rolled omelette)
- Thick fried tofu with ginger sauce
Thank you for the meal.

I visited the hidden gem restaurant "Konakara" in Ginza, known for its delicious oden. The menu offers a variety of oden dishes, such as tofu skin oden and oyster oden, all of which bring out the rich flavors of the ingredients. The broth perfectly complements the ingredients, enhancing the taste and bringing out the umami flavor. The cozy atmosphere makes it easy to relax and enjoy, making it a great place to linger over drinks. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.

It's gotten cold, so I had oden! Oden with fish cake, daikon radish, egg, watercress, and oysters! The broth was incredibly delicious. The price is on the higher side, typical of Ginza. I feel like there are other good restaurants here. I'll keep exploring new places.

Konakara-san has three stores, the main store, Ginza, and Marunouchi. The main store seems to be in Yushima. I have visited the Marunouchi store before, but this is my first time visiting the Ginza store. I would like to visit the main store if I have the chance. The seasoning of the oden seems Kansai-style to me, so I thought it might be a restaurant with its main store in Kansai. The rich flavor of the oden broth is excellent. The daikon, cooked until soft all the way through, is exquisite. I'm not sure how far it goes, but it seems they have homemade products for the paste items. The satsuma-age has a strong texture, and the gristle adds depth to the flavor. The prices may be a bit on the higher side for Ginza, but you can enjoy a polite and elegant oden. Highly recommended!

I was wandering around the back alleys of Ginza when I was drawn to a large red lantern. I didn't have a reservation, but they were able to seat me at a table for two hours. The staff seemed a bit unfriendly at first, but they were very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The appetizers were exciting, with three different types served. The sesame tofu had a unique flavor that caught my interest, and the chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) was delicious. The oden was comforting and the limited edition burdock roll was amazing. The thick burdock wrapped in homemade paste was a perfect match with the broth. The shirako (cod milt) came with a choice of ponzu sauce or another flavor. I dipped it in ponzu sauce and enjoyed the subtle taste of the broth. My husband loved the miso-marinated grilled fish. Every dish was delicious, and I look forward to coming back to try more dishes.

The Iwashi Tsukudani was unique and delicious. The hanpen was melt-in-your-mouth, the daikon was light, and the sora-mame, shiitake, and gobou tempura were delicious. I wonder if it's not suitable for Kansai people? Recently, in Ginza, where there were mostly foreigners.

There is a building called Koshin Building on a street one block west of Ginza Chuo Street. It is not visible from the street or from the front entrance of the building. You have to enter a side alley of the building, so it can be confusing if you don't know. I had one beer, one glass of Nihonshu (unrefined Koshin), one glass of yuzu sake (based on Nihonshu), six types of oden, and finished with dessert for 6400 yen. There is a seating fee of 1000 yen, but you also get three appetizers. Chawanmushi, simmered firefly squid and mushrooms, and spring cabbage. These alone can be enjoyed with a drink. The oden is made with kelp broth. It includes white radish, fish cakes, meatballs, burnt rice cakes, konjac, and sweet bean paste balls. Except for the fish cakes, the flavors of the broth have soaked in well. The burnt rice cakes are grilled mixed grain rice balls. When you break them apart, it's like a broth-soaked rice dish. The sweet bean paste balls are mochi balls mixed with sweet bean paste. They are sweet and interesting. Finally, I finished with matcha creme brulee and was completely satisfied.

I went to a restaurant in Ginza alone and decided to have oden. The first place that came to mind was "Ore no Dashi-san" in Nana-cho, but on the way there, I thought that "Konakara-san" was also nearby. If I couldn't get a seat, I would go to "Ore no Dashi-san." I headed to Konakara-san and was greeted with a warm welcome. I got a seat at the counter. Today's dinner was decided to be oden at Konakara-san. The restaurant, located a little off the main street, had a nice atmosphere with a traditional look that suited the unique back alley of Ginza. Inside, there was an L-shaped counter and table seats, creating a cozy atmosphere. I sat down and was served with appetizers like steamed tea bowls and rapeseed flowers, which I enjoyed with a beer. The oden menu ranged from around 200 yen to 400 yen. I ordered the famous oyster oden, daikon and sardine dumplings, egg with spices, grilled tofu, and fried fish cakes to go with my sake. The oden had a gentle and delicious taste, with the oyster dish being particularly exquisite. I enjoyed the gentle flavors of the oden from this renowned restaurant. It was a delicious meal. Thank you for the feast.

A long-established oden specialty shop in Ginza that is open until late at night. I had been there a few years ago and was very happy to see that it was still there when I went back after a long time. The oden is delicious. I recommend trying the sake as well.

The restaurant was a Michelin Bib Gourmand dinner time, but due to the pandemic, they were only serving two groups. The clear soup was delicious, and they even explained what kind of broth it was. The appetizers included three types, mostly simple dishes. The oden had four varieties, with the standout being the satsumaki and ankodama. The crab miso butter was excellent, and the deep-fried eggplant in broth was good.

I like the atmosphere of Ochanomizu since the beginning of this year, but because it's small and I am big, I use the Ginza store here. I order daikon, sardine balls, chikuwa, and the famous kaki oden. It's a bit small and lonely, but it goes perfectly with the broth here, and you can taste the richness of the oysters. And finally, the usual success udon. I eat and drink the same way every time, but the taste is consistent.

In Ginza, there is a cozy restaurant open late with a warm atmosphere and delicious, comforting oden. It's a hidden gem tucked away in a back alley, so I was thrilled to discover it! I plan on becoming a regular customer from now on.
