まめぞう
In January 2016: During the New Year when everything was closed, I visited this place because it was open. This place has been open for 15 years now, and although the staff has changed, they still manage to maintain a good taste. The shrimp avocado salad, deep-fried daikon radish, amberjack collar grilled, oyster fry, and baked sweet potato with blue cheese were all quite good. The bill for two people came to 8,694 yen, which was reasonable.
In April 2011: A beautiful lady suddenly had some free time, so I had the pleasure of accompanying her. Next to us was a newly opened donut shop that was currently popular. We arrived at 8:00 pm, which was late, but after a round, we managed to find a seat. The beautiful lady couldn't miss the specialty here, the seared cured mackerel and snow crab pasta. We also ordered shrimp ajillo. We toasted with beer, and were served deep-fried tofu as an appetizer. The seared mackerel was brought in, and a performance of searing it with a burner was done right in front of us. The protein changed when seared, enhancing the flavor. It was delicious with the mustard. The lady enjoyed the snow crab pasta with tomato sauce and was impressed by the taste. The shrimp ajillo was hot, and the shrimp skin was so crispy that you could eat it whole. We dipped the bread in the sauce and enjoyed it. This place is popular among women, possibly because of the nearby music school. Many hair salon staff in the area also use it for girls' nights out. It's a hidden gem on the street of the Ie-yan, which might be appealing. The snow crab tomato pasta is a favorite among 80% of women. I used it for a few condo association parties, and the party course was very satisfying. The seared mackerel sushi was particularly delicious. Despite the expectation of seafood and Japanese cuisine, they also offer Korean pancakes, pasta, and international dishes. While there are various izakayas in Sengawa, this place is now considered a long-established one. If it's a casual father's night out, it would be Namihanaya or Kikuya, but if there are stylish women, they would definitely choose this place over chain izakayas near the station.
