It's no wonder there are customers with reservations, considering how crowded it is. We lined up around 12:45 and waited for about 5 minutes to be seated, but then had to wait another 20 minutes. So, it's better to assume a 30-minute wait, so if you're in a hurry, it's best to avoid the lunch rush. We ordered the Oyakodon and a mini soba set (950 yen). The Oyakodon had plenty of chicken and eggs, with a lot of broth making the eggs fluffy. However, the disappointing part was that the chicken didn't have much flavor. Well, that can't be helped. The operation is still a bit chaotic. After all, it's just an izakaya, so even though the staff wear headsets, they are still loud and energetic (laughs). It's impossible to have a conversation when you're sitting next to them.

Had a drinking party at "Gonpachi" located on the 14th floor of E-Space Tower Building on the uphill slope of Shibuya's Dogenzaka. The interior of the restaurant is filled with a traditional Japanese atmosphere, and the view of the city lights from the 14th floor is beautiful. With foreign tourists returning, the restaurant was bustling with international visitors. We ordered the party course (2-hour all-you-can-drink included) for 5500 yen (3850 yen course + 1650 yen all-you-can-drink). The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable, so I highly recommend it. There are various types of seating such as large table seats, tatami seats, private rooms, and counter seats, which is nice. The spacious interior made the staff seem a little overwhelmed (laughs). The dishes were all averagely delicious and they had a wide variety of options. Although I didn't find any standout dishes, I was satisfied with the atmosphere. It seems like a place that can be used for dates or work-related drinking parties, suitable for various occasions.
