It was easy for even one person to enter, and the quality of the all-you-can-eat meat was so good that it didn't seem like an all-you-can-eat. The meat was thick and delicious. The sushi was also very tasty for an all-you-can-eat option. The dessert options like cotton candy and chocolate fountain were fun with a variety of choices to make on your own.

This restaurant is part of the Stamina Taro chain offering all-you-can-eat yakiniku. Despite being a bit more expensive than the typical Stamina Taro, the cost-performance is excellent with lunch priced at around 2000 yen. The variety of menu options is extensive, and the customer service from the staff is great. It's a place that makes you want to visit regularly.

"I may be dining alone, but so what?" Ramen, yakiniku, sushi... I can go anywhere by myself~ This time, I went for the all-you-can-eat yakiniku lunch at the restaurant called Guigu in a clean mixed-use building near Minami-Ikebukuro Park, not towards the Sunshine area in Ikebukuro East Exit! The lunch is only for 60 minutes or 90 minutes, and I actually wanted 120 minutes, but I chose the 90-minute option for ¥1600 (excluding tax). I have been here a few times, and when dining alone, they usually seat you at a table facing the window with other tables behind you, so it's not embarrassing at all^^ The lineup is as follows. ************************************************【Meat Corner】Pork belly, samgyeopsal, kalbi, pot-cooked kalbi, harami, maruchou, shimachou, sausage, hamburger, squid, etc. Sauces: miso sauce, soy sauce, salt sauce, ponzu, salt, chili pepper, nam pla, garlic, gochujang, grated daikon, and more【Vegetable Corner】Salad: lettuce, okra, broccoli, edamame, macaroni salad Grilling: cabbage, onion, pumpkin, garlic, etc.【Noodle, Rice Corner】Ramen, udon, spaghetti Ramen soup: tonkotsu, miso, salt soup Pasta sauce, udon soup Toppings: wakame seaweed, tempura flakes Rice, curry, ochazuke base, sushi【Fried Food Corner】Tempura, chicken wings, potato fries, karaage, self-fried skewers【Dessert】Pudding, almond jelly, orange, grapefruit, cherries, factory-made cakes various kinds Make-your-own corner: cotton candy, crepes, soft serve ice cream, ice cream, toppings: whipped cream, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, black honey, flakes, etc.【Drinks】Family restaurant-style drink machine, limited variety ************************************************Eating yakiniku alone at the table. How luxurious~ (laughs) With various types of sauces, you can enjoy different flavors. The miso sauce kalbi wrapped in lettuce, the melty shimachou with plenty of fat, the plump maruchou, they were all delicious~ Not only the meat but also unlimited rice, cheaper than other yakiniku lunches! It's too good to be true! The noodle corner is a DIY type where you boil and drain frozen ramen, udon, and spaghetti in a sieve and customize the soup as well! I boiled cabbage together and made wakame miso ramen, udon with grated daikon and yakiniku sauce ponzu for my cold udon. It's great that you can make what you like! I wasn't very interested in the fried food section, but the chicken wings were crispy and delicious. For dessert, there were factory-direct cakes, cream puffs, cup desserts (pudding, almond jelly, etc.), several fruits, make-your-own corner (crepes, cotton candy), and a bit subtle, but apart from that, I loved the whipped cream and various sauces, ice cream, soft serve ice cream, so I was very satisfied! Of course, you can pile on as much soft serve ice cream, ice cream, and whipped cream as you want! (laughs) You can freely mix and match toppings! So, the 90 minutes flew by in no time. To eat efficiently, you need a strategy for the time to fetch food and grill meat. First, grab what you can eat right away and the meat to grill, sauces, etc., then line up the meat on the grill, eat what you can right away, go get additional meat, and when you come back, eat the grilled meat, and when the grill is empty, line up more... that way, you can eat quite a lot^^ Even though the buffet table gets empty, they won't add more unless you ask, and the staff's attitude is not very good, but at this price, with all-you-can-eat meat, noodles, dessert, and drinks, those who can overlook the service or taste or quality will find it very cost-effective, I think.

I visited this place near Ikebukuro Station. The background music is Christmas songs. They offer all-you-can-eat various kinds of yakiniku. They also have desserts, ice cream, and crepes, so the children are enjoying themselves for 60 minutes. The quality of the meat is average, but I think it's pretty good for this price.

Ikebukuro, a restaurant affiliated with the "Sutamina Tarou" chain. I knew of its existence but had never been because I thought that an all-you-can-eat yakiniku buffet would be cheap and probably not good. However, now that I enjoy Sutamina Tarou, I decided to give it a try. The quality of the meat was not as good as Sutamina Tarou's dinner-only "nakaochi kalbi" that I like, but the horumon (offal) was very tasty and some types of beef were tender and delicious. The sauce was just okay. The side dishes, however, were not great - I forgot to take photos, but things like fried chicken wings and takoyaki were all just okay. There was also a pasta station that I didn't try. The lunch buffet only offers 60 or 90-minute options. I chose 90 minutes, but it felt rushed as I had to keep going back and forth to get meat, cook it, eat, and repeat. Despite this, the horumon was delicious and the beef was good, so I was satisfied with paying 1,760 yen (tax included). However, for this price, I could have enjoyed a 2-hour lunch buffet at Sutamina Tarou! By the way, I have already planned to have dinner at Sutamina Tarou with a long-time friend on January 2nd. It looks like my first buffet of the new year will be at Sutamina Tarou (laughs).

I chose this restaurant based on the following criteria: it is suitable for bringing multiple small children who may be noisy, restless, or make a mess without bothering others around, and there are food options that children can easily eat on their own. Even if the children cannot eat properly due to accidents, the price range is acceptable. They allow strollers to be brought in. Although it can be challenging to cook with children around, they provided us with a private room where we could relax and let the kids be. Despite some mishaps caused by the children, we were able to eat properly within the 90-minute time limit. I think this place is also recommended for growing teenage boys. The ice cream was surprisingly delicious. The restaurant is close to a park, so I might visit again under the same conditions.

At Sumitomo Tarou's affiliated stores, there may be fewer options, but the atmosphere and quality are good. It's recommended to try the Harami steak and tongue to find your favorite. It's a shame that there is no all-you-can-drink option during lunch.

The Viking-style format was fun! It seemed like a good place for families, but some of the meat was a bit dry because it was sitting out.

Sutamina Taro gives off a feeling of being a part of a chain of restaurants. Even though it's known to be junk food, sometimes you just crave it. I think having these kinds of restaurants is valuable.

I had been planning to go there someday, and finally went. I thought it might be a small shop because it's in Ikebukuro, but it wasn't that small. I arrived before 11:30 am, so it was still empty and I was seated in a private room which was a nice touch. It's part of the Sutamina Tarou chain, so the menu was almost the same, but the interior was chic with a black color scheme. The food was good. The staff seemed busy and not very friendly, and even though I was excited to use a coupon before 12 pm, I ended up being charged the regular price because I didn't show it when I arrived. I regret not confirming, but it would have been nice if they asked if I had a coupon when taking my order. I will be more careful next time. There was a candy with a string attached at the checkout, which was interesting.

This restaurant located near Ikebukuro East Exit, South Ikebukuro Zone offers a lunch buffet for 90 minutes at 1600 yen, but on weekdays there is a 1400 yen option for 60 minutes. It mainly serves yakiniku buffet style, but also offers curry rice, pasta, sushi, desserts, catering to young students. You can fill your tray with various dishes and eat while seated. However, it can be busy as you have to cook the meat while eating. The yakiniku is already seasoned, so there are no condiments on the table. You can also cook Chinese noodles, spaghetti, and soba noodles yourself, but be careful not to mix up the sauces. It's recommended to do some research before visiting with friends. With a wide variety of yakiniku options, it's a satisfying lunch experience.

The meat is tough and dry. It tastes bad so all you can taste is the sauce. The beef tongue from a different menu is thin and full of holes, or it's in pieces and falling apart with no decent slices. There are very few side menu options so there's not much to eat. It might be good for people who don't mind dry meat, but for the price, the quality is terrible. I will never go back there again!

Oh, I'm not young anymore. So I can't eat as much. I was surprised by how little I could eat. The meat is still not very tender, but the pieces are big and if you cook it just right, it's pretty tasty. But... because I'm getting older, I should probably just enjoy a little bit of something expensive and delicious! But, I probably won't be able to do that. As I get older, if I eat something like this, I won't need dinner. The only positive thing is that I didn't eat all of the food in the picture, it's for 6 people. I can't even think about sushi or sweets.

I went to an all-you-can-eat barbecue without considering my age. Normally, as you get older, you tend to go for a little bit of delicious food... but I seem to lack that sense. Well, in the case of barbecue, the good quality meat tends to be more expensive. However, I wanted to introduce the interesting aspects of the meat served at this restaurant. What makes it special is the size of the meat cuts. They are thick and large, providing a satisfying chewy texture with lots of juicy flavor. The downside is that they take longer to cook. But if you cook them just right and eat them quickly, they turn out tender and juicy. Unlike other all-you-can-eat places with thinly sliced meat that shrinks and burns easily, here you can enjoy a better quality experience. There are various types of meat to choose from, but personally, I enjoy rotating between ribeye, skirt steak, bone-in, and beef intestines. The buffet also offers a variety of other dishes, but I tend to stick to what I like. Another highlight of this place is the freedom to choose your own rice. While the quality may not be top-notch, I always enjoy grilled meat on rice. The sauces are not on the table, so you have to get them yourself, but this adds to the freedom of choice. For drinks, you can freely pour from the beverage machine. I usually go for a mix of cola and oolong tea, which surprisingly goes well with the food. The atmosphere is vibrant, with groups of school trip students often seen dining here. The coordination for this age group is impressive. It may get a bit chaotic, but the energy is high, and the meat is always replenished quickly, maintaining a good selection at the buffet. Freedom, youth... the title of a song comes to mind.

Ikebukuro is where I am today. I drank too much the previous day, but luckily my stomach is feeling okay. In fact, I'm feeling better and it's already lunchtime. I'm in the mood for a hearty meal, so let's cherish this opportunity. So, I searched on Tabelog for a "buffet" and found this place. ◎ Kui Kui Ikebukuro Store Take the elevator up to the sixth floor and as soon as the doors open, you're in the restaurant. The central area of the restaurant is the buffet zone, surrounded by seating with partitions for privacy. We were seated at a table for two with a tabletop grill for yakiniku. Let's not waste any time and start eating. Of course, I need to take photos too, so it's a race against time. This time, it's a 60-minute buffet on weekdays for 1470 yen plus tax. [First Round] - Rice and noodle section: Fried rice, yakisoba, sushi - Side dish section: Fried chicken, cream croquette, takoyaki, potato salad - Yakiniku section: Bone-in kalbi, kalbi, chicken - Drink: Melon soda I quickly finished everything because I was so hungry. [Second Round] - Kui Kui Special Curry: Serve yourself rice and pour plenty of curry sauce. It was delicious and I regret not getting seconds. The restaurant was packed even though it was a weekday. Mostly young men and women were there, and I didn't see many office workers. Maybe you can't enjoy a buffet without enough time. Oh, look, there's a gal making cotton candy. I wanted to try it, but it felt a bit embarrassing. [Third Round] - Rice and noodle section: Fried rice, yakisoba - Drink: Coca-Cola, Ambasa - Salad section: Lettuce, thinly sliced carrots, radish with shiso dressing - Yakiniku section: Bone-in kalbi, which I grilled five pieces. It was delicious with miso sauce. I checked the time and realized my next appointment was approaching. So, that's the end. It was essentially a 30-minute buffet, and I couldn't fully enjoy the yakiniku, udon, or dessert. If I had the full 60 minutes, the 1512 yen including tax would have been reasonable, but based on what I ate this time, the cost performance wasn't particularly high. I realized that buffet meals should be enjoyed with plenty of time, while hungry, to fully appreciate them.

I used the lunch buffet. It's cheap, the meat is delicious, and the desserts are quite satisfying. I tend to overeat without realizing it (lol). If it's a holiday, make sure to go early to avoid long lines. The premium kalbi had quite a bit of fat. It's tasty but be careful of indigestion! There were also plenty of non-meat options like fried chicken and sushi, but they didn't look very appetizing so I didn't try them. The dessert selection was great with ice cream, cake, fruits, fruit punch, traditional Japanese sweets, cotton candy, crepes, etc. There were about 8 flavors of ice cream with chocolate and fruit sauces available. I kept looping between meat, rice, and ice cream (lol). With a drink bar included, the quality at this price is very satisfying. The cute candy given after paying is a nice touch. It's perfect for eating with friends and having a good time. However, I wish they had clearly stated on their website that the student discount is only for middle and high school students, not for university students.
