I always end up eating too many. The Madeleines come in two types, plain and chocolate, with 3 of each. The heart-shaped Madeleines are cute. The plain ones have a firm texture, not fluffy, with a satisfying bite due to the dense dough. They have a good amount of butter, making them perfect for a snack when you're a little hungry. The chocolate ones have orange liqueur or orange peel inside. I'm not a fan of citrus in chocolate, so I was a bit disappointed. But for those who like it, definitely give it a try.

Despite its small size, I thought the chocolate cake was just right. Overall, everything was delicious, and now I feel like I want to keep Pierre Marcolini chocolates all to myself.
