I am at Haneda Airport Terminal 2, which I don't use as often as Terminal 1. This is my first visit to a Baumkuchen (layered cake) cafe called Nenrinya. I bought a Baum Soft, a product that combines Baumkuchen and soft serve ice cream. I enjoyed it at Nenrinya's eat-in space. The Baumkuchen and soft serve tasted just as I had imagined. Even though it's Nenrinya's space, people who didn't purchase anything from there also use it. It seems like they think of it as a free space. Let's move on to the next place!

The airplane was delayed, so I got a little hungry and ended up eating a Baumkuchen from Nenrin. I was planning on eating lots of soft serve ice cream in Hokkaido later on, but couldn't resist trying it. It was my first time eating Nenrin's Baumkuchen, and it was moist and delicious. I can see why it's so popular.

I went to a restaurant during my layover at the airport. It's located at the far end of the second terminal in Haneda Airport, so it's quite a walk. I was torn between getting the soft serve ice cream and something more substantial. Personally, I prefer something more substantial that I can enjoy at home.

During the second half of the consecutive holidays, Haneda Airport was surprisingly empty in the morning. I came much earlier than expected due to the anticipated crowds, so I had plenty of time to spare. I smoothly passed through security and enjoyed a peaceful morning. Thankfully, Tully's Coffee opens at 6:00 AM, which was very convenient. I tried the limited edition "Matcha Baum Set" for early summer, with whipped cream as a topping. It was handed to me in a bag as a set, not on a tray. The matcha baum didn't have as much flavor as its color suggested, but the aftertaste definitely had a hint of matcha. It was quite delicious. While I usually prefer warm baum, I think I might actually like the matcha-flavored baum more when it's chilled. I enjoyed it, fully aware that my blood sugar level would spike at 7:30 in the morning. I will definitely visit again.

Cafe that you can't enter without passing through security checkpoint. I couldn't resist and stopped by after having a fulfilling lunch with a double scoop of Blue Seal ice cream. The hot Baumkuchen was so delicious and comforting, my happiness level skyrocketed. You can choose to have it with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. I definitely want to visit again when using Terminal 2. Thank you for the meal!

I went to "Nenrinya" at Haneda Airport. I ordered a set of Baumkuchen and coffee. The warm Baumkuchen topped with whipped cream was delicious and had a luxurious taste. I think it's a pretty good deal.

I had high expectations, thinking that maybe there was some special preparation when heating it in the microwave. However, it was just heated baumkuchen in the microwave with ice cream on top. It was not better or worse than expected, just simply delicious and not bad.

Just before boarding the plane, I had a little time to spare and didn't feel particularly hungry, and there weren't many shops around, so I thought I'd have a quick cup of tea here. The Baumkuchen was warm, served with whipped cream. It was not too sweet, elegant, fluffy, and very delicious! It goes well with coffee, and I would like to eat it again. Thank you for the meal.

Breakfast at Haneda Airport. I usually have curry or soba, but this morning I decided to try something different. I had the Hot Baumkuchen Set for 733 yen at Cafe Nenrinka. I bought this as a souvenir when they first opened a store in Ginza. The baumkuchen is cut into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to eat. It's a popular Tokyo souvenir, but you can enjoy it with a drink in the cafe space here. If you eat it here, you'll get a warm baumkuchen with cream topping. You can choose between whipped cream and vanilla gelato for the topping, I chose whipped cream. The baumkuchen is cut into three pieces, making it even easier to eat. The warm baumkuchen is delicious. It's not bad at all! Injecting sugar into my still half-asleep body. By dipping it in whipped cream, it becomes even tastier without the dryness. The warmth is nice too. I enjoyed the sweet baumkuchen with bitter coffee... It felt like replenishing energy for the upcoming journey. It was a delicious breakfast that I enjoyed while feeling excited about the journey ahead.

Today, I visited the Nenrin-ya cafe at Haneda Airport for a business trip. I ordered the Nenrin-ya set (720 yen) with iced oolong tea. The warm Baumkuchen had a fluffy texture. The sugar-coated part was crunchy and had a gentle sweetness that was delicious. I don't usually buy this amount, so it's nice to be able to eat it easily. It was delicious.

I felt like my lunch was a bit lacking, so I wandered around the airport looking for something light to eat. I ended up in a quiet restaurant and ordered a set with Baumkuchen and coffee, which seemed like a good deal. The warmed Baumkuchen with a scoop of ice cream on top was delicious, but I ended up eating just the ice cream due to the heat inside the airport. The Baumkuchen had a refined sweetness that I really enjoyed. The coffee I ordered was just like American coffee, with a familiar taste. The dining area was empty and I was able to relax for a while.

In order to visit this restaurant, you have to pass through the security checkpoint at Haneda Airport Terminal 2. It's safe to say that when heading to Tokyo, and even when returning to Hokkaido, I always choose ANA or AIRDO flights. That's how much I love "Cafe Nenrinka", my favorite spot. Today, once again, I ordered the Hot Baumkuchen Set. It seems they have become exclusively for takeout for various reasons, but there were many people who couldn't resist and took it home, including myself. It was absolutely delicious. Thank you very much.

Before boarding, I bought souvenirs. The shop is located near gate 51, just after passing through the security checkpoint in Terminal 2. It's convenient for those going to Hokkaido, but for those heading to Kyushu, it's quite a walk, so be careful of the diversion time. I bought the Mount Baum Brownie with sprouts and seasonal limited edition. The crispy sugar on the outside is delicious. By the way, if you're buying for family, it's a bit more cost-effective to go for the non-boxed option.

This is a review of Nenrinya Cafe located inside the terminal of Haneda Airport (after passing through the boarding gate). When you order the set of iced coffee and baumkuchen, it comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They put it in a take-out bag so you can bring it on board the plane. The baumkuchen is warmed up slightly and goes really well with the cold vanilla ice cream. It's a great choice for when you're feeling a little peckish.

There is a shop in front of gate 52 inside Haneda Airport Terminal 2 building called "Nenrin-ya". They have a terrace seat where you can enjoy your meal. I had a sudden business trip to Hokkaido and stopped by before boarding as I was feeling a bit hungry. I ordered the Nenrin-ya Hot Baumkuchen Set (720 yen including tax) with an iced coffee. It comes with a topping of vanilla gelato, which is a limited menu only available at Haneda Airport (I'm a sucker for limited edition items). The hot baumkuchen, which resembles tree rings, is served warm after being heated in the microwave. It comes in 4 pieces of varying sizes. When eaten with the complimentary vanilla gelato, the sweetness of the baumkuchen and the rich sweetness of the gelato blend together, enhancing each other's flavors. The contrast between warm and cold, as well as the texture, is enjoyable. It pairs perfectly with the slightly bitter iced coffee, I recommend having it black. I don't know when I'll have the chance to visit again, but if I do, I would love to stop by again. Thank you for the meal!

The day after an idol concert, feeling exhausted, I was walking through the airport when a delicious smell caught my attention... I don't usually fly with ANA, so I had never passed by this place before, but if I can eat such a delicious and warm Baumkuchen here, I might start flying with ANA from now on... (laughs) When I went, it came with a vanilla ice cream, was reasonably priced, quiet and nice. The coffee was also delicious~ I will definitely visit again!

I boarded from the back gates of Haneda Airport Terminal 2, and it has been a while since I last did so. Around 6:50 am, I went to the store front but it was still preparing to open, so I waited a bit. I managed to catch the opening and bought a hot Baumkuchen with a mini ice cream. It was a little treat. I quickly boarded the plane after the purchase. There were two types of Baumkuchen available, a normal one with 4 pieces and a "annual ring" one with icing around it. The Baumkuchen was warm and fluffy, and the ice cream had black vanilla bean specks which added a nice flavor. I also requested coffee from the in-flight service.

For quite some time now, working from home and remote meetings have become the norm. Despite occasional outings and business trips amidst government COVID measures, opportunities to do so have drastically decreased. I enjoy train rides, but personally, I love flying. Whenever I have a set date and time, I prefer air travel. I recently used ANA at Haneda Airport Terminal 2, and before my flight, I stopped by a cafe known for their Baumkuchen. They also had a seating area where I could rest. The service was polite, the coffee was good, and the staff were beautiful. I couldn't help but smile, feeling good about my upcoming flight. Along the way, I stumbled upon a Samantha Thavasa store. I always thought it was a popular shop for colorful bags and wallets for women, but I was surprised to see they also offered sweets. It made me realize how much the world has changed during this period of staying indoors. The weather was great, the view was clear, and everything felt just right.

I stopped by a shop inside the second terminal of Haneda Airport. It's been a while since I last visited. They warm up the Baumkuchen from Nenrinya here, and I think this is the only place that does that. The Hot Baumkuchen costs 503 yen and comes with vanilla gelato as a default topping. It's not too sweet and easy to eat, but personally, I think a little less quantity would be better. I'll definitely stop by again if I have the chance.

Passing through the security inspection area, between gates 51 and 52, you will find "Cafe Nenrinka," a Baumkuchen shop from Ginza. This second terminal store combines a Baumkuchen cafe and shop. In addition to Baumkuchen, they also sell popular Tokyo souvenirs such as "Tokyo Banana 'Mitsuketatt'" and more. Today, I bought the "Tokyo Banana 'Mitsuketatt'," the "Mount Baum," and a knockoff of the no longer available "Tokyo Banana Gofret" called the "Doraemon Tokyo Banana Half-Moon Sandwich." Let's buy these and take them home.
