We used it for a family New Year's party. I was originally planning to have sukiyaki in December, but this year there were few cold days that made me want to eat hot pot... I expected it to get colder in January, so I made a reservation from the end of last year. We drove there and parked at the parking lot of St. Luke's Hospital, which is about a 3-minute walk away. Lovely entrance♪ Perhaps because the banquet times overlapped, the staff welcomed us warmly, putting us in a good mood. We visited in the second week of January, and all the rooms were fully booked. Amazing♪ We were a party of three, so we had a cute room with a view of the pond. We requested a sunken kotatsu table. We had two appetizers. Various delicacies in small portions. Perfect with alcohol. The sashimi was delicious, with sweet spiny lobster and impeccable tuna. The grilled and fried dishes were carefully prepared and very tasty. The main dish, sukiyaki! Even though there were three of us, I ordered sukiyaki for four servings because I wanted everyone to enjoy the exquisite soup. When we opened the pot, a golden soup appeared♪ Beautiful... The attendant skillfully removed the scum, and we started by tasting the soup. (Adjust the saltiness yourself) It was so delicious that tears came to my eyes!!! The chicken soup, which is prone to develop a smell when simmered for a long time, had no odor at all, and the sweet aroma of chicken fat was indescribable. The ingredients were only chicken and onions. The soup was the best part!!! Of course, the porridge was perfect too! I feel so happy to have such a delicious meal at the beginning of the year. The food was fantastic, and the staff's customer service was also excellent. We had a pleasant dining experience from start to finish and had a very meaningful time. Thank you very much.

Located about a 15-minute walk from Tsukiji Market, close to St. Luke's Garden, this traditional Japanese restaurant used to be frequented by many luxury black taxis near Ginza. The restaurant's atmosphere has since become more approachable, but there is still an exciting sense of entering a special place when you step inside. The spacious interior consists entirely of private rooms, reminiscent of a ryokan, with various rooms surrounding a pond. Some rooms are as large as 100 tatami mats. The restroom is separate for men and women. You can enjoy your meal while overlooking the pond from your private room, where colorful and impressive koi fish swim, creating a lucky ambiance. The appetizers were delicious, and surprisingly, the sashimi, despite not being a seafood-focused restaurant, was the best I've had this year. The restaurant is famous for its sukiyaki, and it is served at the end of the course. They have a dedicated sukiyaki chef, and the dish's secret recipe sets it apart. I've had sukiyaki at many places, but the quality here was on a different level, undoubtedly top-notch. It made me realize that there are still many delicious things out there that I have yet to try. The friendly service from the staff also left a positive impression. We took several commemorative photos before leaving the restaurant, feeling like we had just experienced a taste of the extraordinary in our everyday lives.

You can enjoy a hot pot meal in a tatami room while looking out at the carp and garden. The appetizers and hot pot are delicious. They keep adding more chicken to the hot pot after you finish. You can relax and have a leisurely conversation in a private tatami room, so those who like tatami will feel calm.

Dinner with business partners. We enjoyed the popular No. 1 plan at the favorite restaurant of the company chairman, featuring the famous chicken sukiyaki course. The meal included: - Tofu dish (Takigawa tofu) - Appetizers (Deep-fried octopus, grilled sandfish with edamame, etc.) - Sashimi (Japanese flying squid, conger eel, bluefin tuna, mackerel) - Grilled dish (Salt-grilled beltfish) - Vegetable salad - Famous chicken sukiyaki - Rice porridge - Pickles - Dessert (Shine Muscat jelly, bracken rice cake) The meal started with Takigawa tofu, followed by appetizers with a charm against epidemics, fresh sashimi, and a tender salt-grilled beltfish. Then, the highlight of the meal, the traditional chicken sukiyaki that has been passed down since the restaurant's founding. The sukiyaki was made with Awa-dori chicken from Tokushima and small onions from Hokkaido, creating a rich and flavorful broth. The meal ended with a refreshing dessert of Shine Muscat jelly and bracken rice cake. It was a luxurious experience at Tsukiji Jisaku, a restaurant with over 80 years of history, where you can feel the elegance of a bygone era. It was a truly indulgent experience to enjoy the "sukiyaki" passed down through generations in a serene setting that made us forget the hustle and bustle of the city.

Second visit! The delicious water pot dish brought me back again. The restaurant is designed like a high-class inn from the entrance to the rooms, and there are many carp in the courtyard. The cozy atmosphere makes you forget that you are in Tokyo. The water pot dish enjoyed in such a pleasant space is the best. Just like last time, it cost around 50,000 yen per person.

The restaurant serves delicious sukiyaki in private rooms with a spacious and beautiful courtyard. The food was all excellent, especially the sukiyaki. The dessert was also great. I'll probably come back next winter. :)

In Tokyo, there are several restaurants that serve traditional Japanese cuisine in authentic Japanese gardens or sukiya-style architecture, but Tsukiji Jisaku stands out for me. Inside the L-shaped tatami corridor, a row of charming Japanese-style private rooms lines up, leading to a large garden with a pond. At night, lanterns placed throughout the garden light up, illuminating the trees and the water surface of the pond. Through the water, you can see colorful koi fish swimming gracefully, some rumored to be over 80 years old. Tsukiji Jisaku was established in 1931 by a chef named Honda Tsukasa, using a former residence of the Iwasaki family, who founded the Mitsubishi conglomerate. The ambiance of this place, which is unlike any other in Tokyo, is worth a visit on its own. However, the real highlight is their signature dish, Awa-jidori sukiyaki, a dish that is a slight Edo-style twist on the traditional Hakata Mizutaki. The hot pot contains a rich and creamy chicken broth with only chicken and onions, served with condiments like scallions, grated radish, and ponzu sauce. The remaining broth is then enjoyed as a porridge. The taste of this sukiyaki, which has been served for 90 years, is simply unmatched. The combination of chicken broth and the sweetness of onions creates a deep, rich flavor that is truly addictive. Despite its richness, it is surprisingly light, making it easy to keep eating. The simplicity of the ingredients is what makes it so special. Before the hot pot, a variety of appetizers, sashimi, and grilled dishes are served in a serene room with a tokonoma, creating a perfect setting to enjoy sake and engage in lively conversation while waiting for the hot pot to arrive. With such an ambiance and delicious food, the price is reasonable. The staff in kimono welcoming you in a traditional manner adds to the luxurious experience.

The staff was waiting in front of the store to guide us. They provided a polite guidance and we walked through the spacious store to our seats. The private room made us feel comfortable and we were able to enjoy ourselves without feeling nervous. Since it was summer, the cold dishes were delicious. The staff were polite throughout the meal. Finally, they brought out a cake for us, which was from a bakery in the department store, and it was truly amazing.

One word, this is an amazing restaurant. It's incredible from the entrance. I've only seen something like this in dramas, and it makes you feel like a big shot politician. This place, owned by Mr. Tsukiji Haruki, was originally a villa of Iwasaki Yataro. The famous Mizutaki hot pot served in this mansion was delicious and a wonderful experience. First, you are greeted at the entrance, walk through a long tatami hallway, and are led to a private room with a view of the inner garden. It's already amazing at this point and makes you laugh. You are always attended by 2-3 staff members who take care of everything from the food to drinks. They even let you feed the carp at the end. And they escort you outside. Once again, it makes you feel like a big shot politician. The price is high, but it was a fantastic experience worth every penny.

Located in Akashi-cho, "Tsukiji Jisaku" is a reservation-only traditional Japanese restaurant. The serene atmosphere of the restaurant, surrounded by a calm garden and building, is quite unexpected from the outside. Today, I visited to try the seasonal limited cherry blossom course that I had reserved. It came with a champagne rosé for toasting. The course included a variety of dishes such as shellfish, red clam, wild chives, seaweed salad, and more, all with delicious flavors. Each dish paired perfectly with the sake served. The soup course was made with Yoshino kudzu, clams, taro, and warabi, with a rich aroma and depth of flavors. The sashimi course featured cherry blossom sea bream with vegetables, and a liver sauce that was exceptionally tasty. The grilled dish was cherry trout with wild chives, tomatoes, snap peas, and udo, accompanied by balsamic sauce. The signature chicken hot pot was served in a clay pot with Awa-dori chicken, onions, scallions, and a ponzu yuzu pepper sauce. The simplicity of the ingredients allowed the rich soup to shine. The red miso soup course included yuba, nameko mushrooms, water celery, and powdered sansho pepper. The rice dish was cherry sea bream and fuki simmered in a pot, with spring cabbage pickle, cherry pickle, and yuzu-kelp on the side. I had seconds of the rice and took the rest home as a souvenir. For dessert, I enjoyed a sakura pound cake with red bean paste, strawberries, cream, and mint. Overall, I had a delightful dining experience in a private room overlooking a pond. The dashi, simmered dishes, and especially the hot pot were all exceptional.

Passing through the overgrown giant gate covered with ivy, one is overwhelmed by the vast entrance. Beyond that, there is a pond where beautiful koi fish elegantly swim. Rooms are arranged around this pond, allowing guests to admire the garden while enjoying their meal. The specialty here is undoubtedly the sukiyaki. This sukiyaki, which somehow looks golden, is highly praised for its taste and price in the city. With just one sip, you can understand why it's worth the price. The broth is more impressive than the chicken itself. The appetizers, sashimi, and soup are all of high quality, but it's essential to order the sukiyaki to complete the experience. It's a taste that you shouldn't miss trying at least once. Of course, the breathtaking luxury of the building also adds value to the visit. For those who don't mind slight service issues, it is highly recommended.

I made my debut at a restaurant called Jisaku. After researching a bit, I took a bus from Yurakucho to Harumi Pier. We passed through the prominent streets of Ginza, went past the Tsukiji market, and it felt like a field trip. When we got off at the Tsukiji 6-chome bus stop and walked a bit, a large building with "Jisaku" and "Sukiyaki" written on it appeared in front of us. We walked through a gate covered in ivy, with large Shigaraki pottery jars on both sides. As we entered through the front door, we were greeted by a sophisticated view of a courtyard. The staff in traditional Japanese attire welcomed us warmly, and even though they were much younger, it was easy to relax. Three of us girls were excited, admiring the beautiful surroundings and a large carp in the pond. We were led to a glass-walled western-style room from the entrance. The meal consisted of a two-tiered bento box, sushi, chawanmushi, soup, and dessert. The bento box was packed with side dishes, including sea bream pressed sushi, so we were very full. There was only one other group in the large dining room besides us. The design of the building, jutting out over the pond, made us feel like we were playing on a boat floating on the water. The corridor smelled refreshing with the scent of tatami mats. On our way out, the staff opened the glass windows at the entrance and took a commemorative photo for us. From the approach to leaving the entrance, it was a well-made, high-quality Japanese amusement facility. The staff were very friendly and provided a warm hospitality, making me think of bringing my 95-year-old mother next time! For your information, the bill was around 10,000 yen for the bento box at 8,000 yen and two drinks (non-alcoholic).

I made a reservation without much thought and was surprised by the elegant atmosphere (laughs). It was explained to me that it used to be the villa of Mr. Yanosuke Iwasaki, and I strangely found it convincing (laughs). I wonder how many amazing spaces like this exist in Tokyo. This is a restaurant that I definitely want to visit for important occasions. The meal included dishes such as gold shiso ohitashi, assorted sashimi, matsutake chawanmushi, swordfish with porcini mushrooms, chestnut sweetened with honey, water-based hot pot, Awa odori from Tokushima, Hokkaido onion salad, and zosui.

It was a wonderful restaurant. The approach to the restaurant (the garden) was well-maintained and the air felt crisp. Upon entering, we were greeted by live koto music, and the staff inside welcomed us with truly lovely smiles, conveying the message to enjoy our time there. They offer seasonal set meals, and this time we tried the cherry blossom set meal. It has become a special place that I would like to visit again in different seasons.

I had heard that my parents had their first meeting here over 60 years ago, but I never thought this place would have any significance to me. However, by chance, I was invited by a friend to come here and made a reservation. Since the state of emergency had been lifted, we were able to change the reservation time to a bit later. The room and the garden are both wonderful. The sukiyaki was delicious, with a rich yet clear yellow broth. The zosui (rice soup) was also excellent, perhaps because of the tasty sukiyaki broth. I was satisfied with the flavors, but since there were only a few pieces of chicken, I still had room in my stomach. Next time, I want to try a simple course centered around sukiyaki, and add a few chicken dishes on the side. Just being able to come here filled me with joy.

I searched for a place for a relaxed gathering with relatives, in a private room, child-friendly, serving Japanese cuisine with a nice atmosphere, and ended up coming here. The location is next to Tsukiji St. Luke's Hospital, and the entrance has a unique atmosphere. When I visited during cherry blossom season, there were cherry blossom trees everywhere, making the atmosphere even better. The Japanese course meals were all delicious, and there were not many negative aspects. The service was also hospitable. With this atmosphere and this price, I think there is nothing to complain about. I especially recommend it for those with children, families, or for entertaining guests.

I found this restaurant while cycling before! It's a famous place, right? I was impressed by the amazing interior with a long tatami hallway that seemed to go on forever! The delicious small dishes kept coming, followed by the main dish of sukiyaki. Everything was taken care of by the attentive staff! They even celebrated my birthday, making it a truly satisfying evening! I will definitely visit again!

I knew the name but had never visited the traditional Japanese restaurant in Tsukiji that has started offering takeout due to the coronavirus, called "Gochisou Bako". They even include a rice dish for 8,960 yen, which made me eagerly wait for the right time to order. However, I heard that they will end the takeout service at the end of June, so I hurried to visit. It's truly the strength of a long-established restaurant. Although they are famous for their Mizutaki hot pot, their traditional Japanese cuisine that tastes delicious even when cold is truly impressive. I also heard that they offer a low-carb version with a salad instead of the rice dish. Impressive, Tsukasa.

My father wanted to go to a sukiyaki restaurant, so we visited for his birthday. However, he chose a kaiseki course instead. I regret it because I don't like sukiyaki! The kaiseki course was delicious, but it had a high-class atmosphere that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The total bill for two people was 130,000 yen, which included a 4,000 yen charge for rice at the end. The restaurant is located in a prime area, which explains the high prices. The restaurant had a beautiful inner garden with colorful koi fish. The food was delicious, but there was a lot of it, and we couldn't finish everything. Although it's not a place we can visit frequently, I would like to challenge sukiyaki here someday!

Indulging in a luxurious reward in search of delicious Mizutaki (chicken hot pot). The restaurant, located on a vast 800-tsubo property, is overwhelming from the moment you see the entrance. The garden pond with colorful koi fish adds to the beautiful scenery. The appetizers, sashimi, and grilled dishes are all of high quality. And of course, the main dish, Mizutaki, is outstanding. It is rich and delicate, with a golden-like broth. The soup, which balances contrasting elements, is truly impressive. While it may not be an everyday dining option due to the price, it is definitely worth it for special occasions or as a treat. The service is consistently hospitable and welcoming. Although I haven't been back in a while, this restaurant is definitely top-notch and I look forward to visiting again.
