The block-shaped beef has a melt-in-your-mouth texture, allowing you to enjoy the natural flavor of the meat. The soup, which is slowly simmered from beef bones and chicken bones, complements the Ma La flavor well with its unique numbing and spicy taste, making us order extra rice! [Pickled vegetable and fish] ○ Pickled vegetable and fish is a Sichuan cuisine dish made by simmering fish such as crucian carp with pickled greens, chili peppers, and Sichuan peppercorns. When you taste the soup, the spiciness, numbness, and saltiness spread in your mouth. Personally, I like this seasoning, but the key ingredient, pickled greens, is slightly less salty, so the dish tastes quite salty. [Ginkgo nut, asparagus, and squid stir-fry] ◎ The stir-fried dish of squid, ginkgo nuts, and asparagus has just the right amount of saltiness and stir-frying, bringing out the deliciousness of each ingredient. After a series of strong-flavored dishes, it tasted even better! [Overall impression] Since this restaurant has won the Michelin Bib Gourmand award for 4 consecutive years in Hong Kong, we had high expectations when visiting. We arrived 15 minutes before opening, expecting to line up, but there was no queue outside, which was a bit disappointing. After the opening, customers started coming in, and 30 minutes later, the restaurant was fully booked, with everyone except us being Chinese, allowing us to enjoy an exotic atmosphere while in Japan. The staff were very friendly, and the dishes served were all delicious with authentic flavors, so I would love to visit again if given the chance.
