I saw the name of the restaurant "Built an Izakaya for 100 million yen" on Tabelog and thought I had to go there. After visiting, I found out that it is actually a sister restaurant of the nearby Asobare and KAMAKURA. It seems like this company is hitting the mark with everything they do. Despite being only the second day since opening, the restaurant was packed to capacity, with people continuously coming in even at the entrance. Upon entering the restaurant, I felt like I had won the lottery with the bell ringing and cute shrine maidens welcoming and guiding us to our seats. We were seated in a luxurious private room with a golden door. The restaurant was still full of customers, which was surprising considering the ongoing pandemic. We were offered a "Luck Test Sour," where the size of the glass changes based on your fortune. It was my first time experiencing something like this, and it was fun. We were also given a giant fortune slip, and I got the best fortune (Daikichi). The staff celebrated with me, which touched me as I am currently going through a heartbreak. The restroom was also a surprise with its all-gold design, something I had never seen before. We also tried the novelty of roasting a whole bird at our table, and the shrine maiden sliced it for us. It felt like a royal experience. Overall, I had so many first-time experiences at this restaurant that it felt more like a theme park than an izakaya. The staff were all amazing, and I couldn't stop smiling throughout the day. I highly recommend visiting this place!

Today, I went drinking with a friend in Shinjuku. We decided to meet at Shinjuku Station, which has good access for both of us. We found this restaurant that met our criteria of being cost-effective, having private rooms, and being close to the southeast exit area. This restaurant has a unique concept of being a "wealthy person's izakaya," and it seems to have put a lot of effort into its interior and menu. We started with their recommended homemade lemon sour and ordered a la carte dishes. The complimentary macarons were sweet and delicious, a nice start. The ultimate charcoal-grilled yukhoe was amazing, with a perfect balance of beef, green onions, eggs, and sauce. The Caesar salad on a bed of cabbage was a delightful twist. The Awaodori chicken thigh yakitori was tender and flavorful, a great choice. The chicken nanban with tartar sauce was satisfying, with a good balance of flavors. For dessert, we had matcha tiramisu, a delicious treat made by their in-house pastry chef. We mainly enjoyed highballs and sours throughout the evening, appreciating the dry and rich flavors. The staff, following the concept of treating guests like millionaires, provided excellent service. Overall, this restaurant is a gem that offers luxurious decor, great service, and good value for money. I would definitely recommend it to others.

On this day, I had some errands in Shinjuku. Feeling hungry, we were discussing where to eat when a lively hostess called us into this restaurant. They said it was a restaurant built with 100 million yen, so we decided to give it a try. The exterior looked incredibly luxurious! We arrived a bit early, around 5 pm, so there weren't many customers yet. But after we entered, the place quickly filled up and became packed. We were led to a private room and introduced to various recommended dishes. We ordered through a QR code, a modern system, and the menu was amazing! The names of the dishes were funny, inspired by billionaires, yet the prices were surprisingly reasonable. They brought us macarons as a complimentary appetizer, beautifully arranged in a jewelry box. We got to choose one macaron each from the colorful selection, a nice touch. The menu mainly focused on meat dishes, so we ordered a variety of meat dishes. For starters, we had addictive cucumbers and a Caesar salad fit for the wealthy! The salad was extravagant with a whole head of leafy greens, which the staff cut for us with scissors. A small detail, but it made us feel like we were living the high life. Another interesting dish was the omelet with charcoal-grilled hamburger steak topped with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese. They kept shaving cheese onto it until we said stop, a fun service that added to the experience. The hamburger steak inside the omelet was juicy and flavorful, truly delicious. Among all the dishes we tried, my favorite was the "Kyoto red chicken thigh yakitori." The roasted chicken thigh was tender and had a satisfying texture, with a perfect hint of pinkness. It was simply amazing. We also tried the creamy and melt-in-your-mouth beef liver with egg yolk, which was outstanding! The restaurant itself was full of entertainment elements, making our dining experience enjoyable from start to finish.

I visited this restaurant for a long-awaited reunion with friends. The service was fast for both drinks and food, and the meals were of high quality with larger portions than expected. Be careful not to order too much. The seating area allows only electronic cigarettes, so your clothes won't smell. Although I was intrigued by the concept, it turned out to be a great izakaya as well.

The restaurant has an impactful name, and the interior is glamorous, matching the name. There are two tables in the private room with doors. The proximity of the tables allows for conversations to be easily heard. The atmosphere is not cramped, and there is no sense of pressure. Each seat has a QR code for ordering food and drinks using a smartphone. The concept of the restaurant seems like a theme park. The staff wear flashy traditional Japanese clothing, adding to the theme park vibe. Customers choose one of three macarons as a complimentary dish. The staff, who are in character based on the restaurant's concept, provide explanations of the menu items, adding an enjoyable attraction-like experience. The food and drinks were served quickly, allowing for a stress-free dining experience. The staff's service is polite and likeable. The following items were ordered and highly recommended for a return visit: Kyoto Red Chicken Thigh Grilled and Caesar Salad for the main dishes. The Kyoto Red Chicken Thigh Grilled had a perfect rare texture with juicy and tender skin, while the Caesar Salad was warm and delicious. The Ultimate Charcoal-Grilled Yukke had a flavorful punch of green onion and garlic, perfect for pairing with alcohol. The Wagyu Beef Yukke had a sweet sauce similar to sukiyaki. The Kubono Accounting's Addictive Cucumber had a spicy and refreshing taste. The Billionaire Lemon Sour and Premium Malt Masters Dream were ordered twice, along with other drinks like the Aristocrat Highball, Iki Super Gold, Fresh Grape Sour, and Gold Leaf Champagne. The Matsuchikubai Special Junmai was also enjoyed. Thank you for the meal.

I went with two friends!! I made a reservation because I thought the title was interesting. Since it's a concept izakaya, I wasn't expecting much from the taste, but the potato salad was fun and innovative to eat by crushing the corn, and it was delicious. The fact that each room is a private room is also good. The guy in charge of livening up the atmosphere was serious but tried his best to liven things up!!

I visited around 7 o'clock on a weekday. I didn't have a reservation but was able to get in. The place has a very unique concept and the food is quite quirky! The macaron appetizer was unusual! The tea rice was a bit bland though... Overall, it's worth a visit for the experience.

Upon arriving at the long-awaited "Billionaire" restaurant, everything was shiny and golden as I stepped out of the elevator! The staff's attire and overall atmosphere were meticulously crafted, making it quite entertaining! The drink menu offered a decent variety, including The Malt's draft beer, Billionaire Lemon Sour, Defaulted Debt Highball, and Lemon Beer. The dishes were also enjoyable and aligned with the concept of the restaurant. The private rooms were perfect for a serious conversation! *Due to a business dinner, there are only a few photos.

A concept izakaya that refers to customers as millionaires. There are many golden items and the private rooms are well-equipped, so you can relax and enjoy your drinks in Shinjuku! The chicken yukke is excellent, and the dessert plate we ordered for a birthday celebration was inside a golden castle, making the celebration very enjoyable. The cheesecake was delicious!

The performance that made me feel rich as seen on SNS was as enjoyable as advertised, and I was able to have a pleasant meal from start to finish! It is a 2 drink and 2 order system, and considering the location, taste, and portion size, I thought the prices were quite reasonable. I had dinner at the counter seats from 7 pm for about 2 hours, and due to the many private rooms, the voices other than the staff's performance were not as loud as expected, allowing me to enjoy my meal in a calm atmosphere! Payment is accepted in cash or credit card, so it's good to prepare beforehand when you go.

[Shop Name] Built an Izakaya for 100 million yen. Billionaire Shinjuku Main Hall [Nearest Station] 4 minutes walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station [Dinner Budget] 4500-6000 yen Visited in August 2023 [About the Shop] I heard about a clearly defined izakaya with the concept of "Built an Izakaya for 100 million yen," so I decided to visit. The name of the shop, "Billionaire," is also interesting. Using the elevator to go up to the floor, you are overwhelmed by the golden exterior. Upon entering the shop, you are greeted by a cash register area with decorations resembling gold bars, exuding a deliberate sense of nouveau riche. The staff are dressed in flashy traditional Japanese clothing and address customers as "Billionaire-sama," adding to the otherworldly atmosphere. The seating area I was guided to was a private table setting with a cozy atmosphere. The main customer base seems to be groups of women in their 20s and couples in their 20s to 30s. Overheard conversations suggest that some customers visited the shop after seeing it on social media. Each table has a QR code for ordering food and drinks using their smartphones. The QR code instructions emphasize the concept of the shop, maintaining its unique theme. [Food and Drinks] - Tribute (Otosshi): Choose one of three macarons as a traditional izakaya "otosshi." - Grilled Kyoto Red Chicken Thigh - Duck and Wasabi with Charcoal Flavor - Billionaire's Potato Salad?? - Charcoal-Grilled Hamburger Omelette with Plenty of Parmesan - Golden Wagyu Beef Sushi The menu book features a variety of dishes, with specially selected recommended items highlighted. I ordered a few dishes from the recommended list, each creatively presented and delicious. The "Billionaire's Potato Salad??" was particularly surprising, served on top of corn like ice cream and quite sweet. The staff sprinkled Parmesan generously over the "Charcoal-Grilled Hamburger Omelette," adding a nice touch. The "Golden Wagyu Beef Sushi" was a delightful combination of meat, sea urchin, salmon roe, caviar, and Korean seaweed. - Drink Selection The drink menu also features creatively named items, adding humor to the experience. After a drink or two, the staff recommended trying the "fortune slip," where the glass size changes based on the fortune drawn. Despite both my friend and I receiving "misfortune," the staff, dressed like a Shinto priest, helped dispel the bad luck. The dessert, including the flaming Basque cheesecake and bird's nest-inspired Mille-feuille, was a fitting end to the unique and entertaining dining experience. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation for a seat only and visited without any prior knowledge, so I was surprised to see the sparkling interior of the restaurant. Even the toilet was golden. The concept is that customers are treated like millionaires, referred to as "millionaire-sama." The concept is interesting, and the staff's service is thorough, making it a great place to enjoy with friends or colleagues. All the staff are attentive and we had a very enjoyable meal. (Thank you, Princess!) When making a reservation for a seat only, there is a minimum requirement of 1 drink and 2 food items per person. You can order by scanning a QR code. The prices for drinks and dishes are on the higher side, so it might be better to reserve a course if you plan to drink a lot. It is allowed to smoke electronic cigarettes at the table. The bill for the "yearly tribute" (appetizer) for 5 people was 1,900 yen. A staff member with a treasure chest appeared and served macarons for the yearly tribute, where you can choose from 3 flavors. The "Ultimate Charcoal Grilled Yukhoe x2" for 2,160 yen was delicious and we ordered more. It was tasty but the portion was small. The "Duck with Wasabi and Charcoal Scent" for 880 yen was recommended by the staff, but it was just average. The "Addictive Cucumber" for 480 yen, "Millionaire's Platter Fried Potatoes" for 780 yen, and "Golden Wagyu Beef Sushi 2 pieces x2" for 2,560 yen were very delicious. It was a luxurious meat sushi topped with sea urchin, salmon roe, and caviar. The "Flaming Basque Cheesecake by Sakai Patisserie" for 1,180 yen is set on fire with lemongrass at the table. Drinks included "Premol Master's Dream" for 800 yen, "Malt" for 520 yen, "Millionaire Lemon Sour" for 580 yen, and "Golden Lemon Sour" for 580 yen, among others.

The restaurant offers completely private rooms and unique hospitality that evokes the atmosphere of the Taisho era. The service was very pleasant. In addition, ordering was easy with mobile ordering. The prices are not high, but the quality of the food is excellent. They also provide delicious macarons as a complimentary appetizer. It was a great restaurant.

Located right near the southeast exit of Shinjuku station, this izakaya has been making waves on Instagram and TikTok for its millionaire-like atmosphere. I visited with a friend after making a reservation. This used to be the location of Touhou Kenbunroku, but it has been renovated at a cost of 100 million yen! As soon as you step off the elevator, the entrance shines brightly in gold. The cute staff in kimono greeted us with "Welcome, esteemed millionaires!" We were escorted to a spacious private room, decorated mainly in gold, creating a sophisticated yet calm atmosphere. We started with the staff's recommended Millionaire Lemon Sour for a toast. The lemon syrup used in it has been marinated for a long time. Orders are placed through a mobile order system on your smartphone. Here's what we had that day: - Macaron appetizer (380 yen per box): When you open the box, you'll find adorable macarons in three flavors. We chose one each - lemon for me and raspberry for my friend. Even though it's affiliated with KAMAKURA, it still brings excitement. - Fried potato platter (580 yen): Served on a gold plate, this is called the "Tycoon Size." - Grilled Kyoto Red Chicken Thigh (1680 yen): Juicy and flavorful from charcoal grilling, served with wasabi and chili pepper. The restaurant's name suggests they excel in chicken dishes, and this was definitely a good choice. - Charcoal-grilled Hamburg Omelette with Plenty of Parmesan Cheese (1280 yen): A juicy hamburger steak topped with a fluffy omelette, with a server grating a mountain of Parmesan cheese in front of you. - Duck with Wasabi and Charcoal Flavor (880 yen): Another recommended dish, refreshing with delicious duck meat and a hint of wasabi. - Daimyo Chazuke (650 yen): High-quality tea pickles served over rice, a perfect way to end the meal. - Sakei Patisserie's Tiramisu (780 yen): A genuine matcha tiramisu made by a pastry chef, a delightful end to the meal. They take pride in their lemon sours, offering various types. They also have a selection of sake, with my friend enjoying the Saku and Yuki no Kansha. The staff pours sake from a one-liter bottle into your chosen cup in front of you, making the experience even more special. Despite being an izakaya, it's like a theme park where you can enjoy the cute staff, delicious food with attention to detail, and a one-of-a-kind experience. It was quite crowded, so I recommend making a reservation if you want to experience the millionaire-like atmosphere.

Young people's holy land "Shinjuku" has become a town where various people with diverse interests gather. I visited the concept restaurant "Okumanchouja" which has been buzzing on social media for building an izakaya for one hundred million yen! When I entered from the mixed-use building in Shinjuku, a bright space suddenly appeared. As I sat down, I was amazed by the luxurious items related to good fortune and the gold bars-like object. Here are the dishes I tried: Dishes: - Tribute (Macarons): Beautiful macarons in a shiny luxurious box, with three flavors to choose from. I chose lemon and red bean macarons, which were deliciously sweet. - Okumanchouja's Potato Salad: A corn-based potato salad that is commonly seen on social media. The taste was delicious. - Assorted Exotic Delicacies: A platter of three delicious exotic delicacies, perfect for pairing with alcohol. - Duck and Wasabi: A rare duck and wasabi dish that was flavorful and enjoyable. - Okumanchouja Millionaire Yukke: A delicious beef tartare with a perfect balance of meaty umami and sweet sauce. - Charcoal-Grilled Hamburger Omelette with Plenty of Parmesan: A cheesy hamburger omelette that cheese lovers will adore. - Golden Wagyu Beef Sushi: A luxurious meat sushi topped with sea urchin, salmon roe, and caviar, a paradise of flavors. - Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken): Juicy and hot karaage that bursts with meat juices upon biting, a delicious treat. - Tiramisu: A sweet and delicious tiramisu with a perfect combination of cream, matcha, and chocolate.

I visited the restaurant for foie gras, but the macaron served as a welcome snack was a unique touch. You can order from a trendy QR code system or a traditional menu booklet. I tried to order foie gras from the menu booklet, but it was not available due to the timing of the delivery. I ended up ordering duck, which was delicious with a smoky flavor. The staff were energetic and lively, even suggesting a drink size lottery. The restaurant is unique, but the food is like a regular izakaya.

I went to a restaurant in Shinjuku that allows smoking, which I found by searching online. I went there for a drinking party with my colleagues. We chose the 2-hour all-you-can-drink course. The Billionaire Highball was delicious! We went with 6 people and enjoyed the all-you-can-drink and 2 food order system. We had meat sushi, chicken nanban, omelette, cucumber, potatoes, yukhoe, and more. It was around 4200 yen per person, which was very cost-effective and satisfying. The interior was glamorous as per the concept, and very clean. They also have private rooms, so it's great for a date night! Will definitely visit again.

"Egomanchouja Shinjuku Honden" is an izakaya located just 3-4 minutes from Shinjuku Station's southeast exit, known for its catchy name "Built an Izakaya for 100 million yen." I visited alone on a Saturday at 4 pm with a reservation. The interior is luxurious, with traditional lattice designs. The seating includes tables and private rooms. The menu offers a variety of entertaining dishes. I ordered the following: ◾️(Otosshi) Nengu (including tax 380 yen) ◾️Egomanchouja's Potato Salad?? (including tax 780 yen) ◾️Caesar Salad for the Rich (including tax 1,080 yen) ◾️Duck Wasabi ~Charcoal Flavor~ (including tax 880 yen) ◾️Golden Wagyu Beef Sushi 2 pieces (including tax 1,280 yen) ◾️Sakai Patissier's Chicken Fillet (including tax 980 yen) I started with the otosshi "Nengu (macaron)" which you can choose from 3 colors, and enjoyed 6 dishes including salad, meat sushi, and dessert. The "Caesar Salad for the Rich" is topped with plenty of ingredients like croutons on a large Napa cabbage, perfect for sharing among 2-3 people. The "Golden Wagyu Beef Sushi" is a luxurious dish topped with salmon roe, sea urchin, and caviar. The thickly sliced Wagyu sirloin, combined with the salty nori, was delicious. The "Sakai Patissier's Chicken Fillet" is a mille-feuille made with baked kataifi, resembling a bird's nest. The gentle sweetness of the custard cream and the acidity of the strawberries make it a memorable dish. For drinks, I recommend the "Egomanchouja Lemon Sour" made with homemade syrup soaked for a month. The service by the staff, who were dressed like maid cafe staff, was a bit embarrassing but the cozy atmosphere made me want to visit again if I have the chance.

Restaurant Name: Okumanchoujo Location: Shinjuku Cuisine: Chicken, Meat dishes Izakaya Just outside the east exit of Shinjuku Station, as soon as you come out of the ticket gate, you'll find this restaurant on the 4th floor of a building just a minute's walk away. The catchy slogan "Built an Izakaya for 100 million yen!" adds a fun touch to the place. The male staff members greet you in traditional attire, calling customers "millionaires" and all the menu items have quirky names, making it stand out from other izakayas. I was guided to a traditional "Kumiko private room" where you can enjoy the atmosphere of a millionaire. We started with a Millionaire Lemon Sour for a toast! A treasure chest-like container opened by a staff member in traditional attire revealed three colorful macarons. I chose the matcha cheese flavor, which seemed to be a complimentary appetizer. We ordered the Kubono Accounting Addictive Cucumber for 480 yen (tax included). Then, we tried the Millionaire Wagyu Yukke for 1,380 yen, which had a large flat rare meat topped with egg yolk. The "Wagyu born from a chicken" caught our attention, so we ordered it for 1,680 yen. It was a dish with tender red meat topped with egg yolk and salmon roe. The Golden Wagyu Meat Sushi for 1,280 yen had sea urchin, truffle, caviar, and salmon roe on top of a piece of nori, which was delicious. We also tried the Charcoal-Grilled Hamburger Omelette with a heap of Parmigiano for 1,280 yen. The hamburger was topped with a creamy omelette, and the staff member poured a heap of Parmigiano on top. The Golden Chicken Nanban for 780 yen was not your typical fried chicken; it had a flavorful broth-infused chicken with tartar sauce. The Wagyu Yukke Chazuke for 880 yen was a delicious way to end the meal. The staff poured hot broth over the yukke, making it a satisfying dish. For dessert, we had Matcha Tiramisu. The service was friendly and fun, and I look forward to seeing the golden toilet next time.

I used it to celebrate my friend's birthday. We reserved a private room. The food was just right in terms of price. The entertainment factor was strong, so it's great for hanging out with friends or coworkers. If you prioritize atmosphere, it might be a bit different. We requested a castle theme and the staff went out of their way to make our celebration a big success! Plus, we even got a cheki photo!
