Before boarding the airplane. It is located in an area where shops are lined up, similar to a rest stop rather than a restaurant district. The katsudon had a nice balance of meat and broth flavors that I enjoyed, and the miso soup was also tasty. The cost performance is not bad, so it is convenient to use.

I arrived at Haneda Airport just in time for lunch, so I had lunch at Tokyo Chef's Kitchen. I was torn between Yoshikami's Hayashi Rice and Ginza Umebayashi's Katsudon, but I ended up choosing the Katsudon. At first glance, it looked like a small bowl, but it had a good depth, so it was quite filling. The flavor was a bit strong. The katsu was delicious and the sauce soaked into the rice nicely, making it a tasty bowl overall. However, because it was quite filling and the flavor was strong, I got a little tired of it towards the end. But overall, I think it was a delicious katsudon.

The sweet seasoning is similar to the main store, but the ingredients are not as good. However, it's cheaper at 950 yen compared to the main store, so it's understandable. There are also many families with children. #Haneda Airport #Tokyo Chefs Kitchen #Tonkatsu #Pork Cutlet Bowl #Miso Soup #Lunch

I stopped by a food court on my way to the domestic flights from Haneda Airport Station. Among several shops lined up, I decided to try the Katsudon from Umebayashi after looking at the photos. It was just before 11:30 on Saturday, and the seats were quite crowded. I ordered the Special Hire Katsudon at the counter and waited for about 10 minutes before being called by a buzzer to pick it up. By the way, the Special comes with an extra egg. The Katsudon was as delicious as expected and the content was satisfying.

I ordered the Hire Katsu Donburi for 950 yen at Tonkatsu Umebayashi for lunch. It came with 4 pieces of pork cutlet, which was quite filling. The rice portion was a bit large, but it was delicious. It's nice to have a food court with various famous restaurants.

I found Umebayashi in the food court at Haneda Airport, so I decided to try it. The shrimp and egg bowl was around 1,000 yen and came with miso soup. The waiting time was very short, making it perfect for a quick meal before departing from Haneda Airport. Next time, I will try the pork cutlet bowl!

I went to Tokyo Chefs Kitchen Tonkatsu Ginza Umeshin at Haneda Airport's food court! This time I chose the tonkatsu. The breading was crispy yet fluffy, sealed with egg, and very delicious! It was topped with a sweet sauce, and it was delicious!

2023.06 The pilgrimage to Tokushima has safely come to an end! All that's left is to go back and sleep, but I'm feeling hungry. I'm going to eat something before heading back (^○^) Since it was late, some shops were already closed, but I decided to have a katsudon. When it was ready, the notification bell rang and I went to pick it up. After a while, I was called and the katsudon arrived safely! The bowl seemed small or maybe the katsu was too big? It was overflowing a bit... I think the bowl is small though (~_~;) Now, let's taste it... It might be because of my condition, but I felt the sweetness was a bit strong. The dashi flavor is good, and the way it soaked into the rice was just right, which I like because I don't like it too saucy. The amount of rice seemed a bit small though. Maybe it's because of the size of the bowl? Anyway, I finished it quickly and it was delicious! Katsudon is always tasty, right? Thank you for the meal! (o^^o)

I originally planned to arrive at Haneda Airport and then move to a different station for lunch, but I was too hungry, so I decided to take a little walk around Haneda. The food court on the basement floor was more reasonably priced than I expected. There were Chinese food, soba, and omurice, but I chose "Ginza Tonkatsu Umebayashi". I was thinking of getting the regular katsudon for 950 yen, but when I saw the menu with a picture of a special hire katsudon with a half-cooked egg in the middle, I decided to go for it at 1,030 yen. It also came with miso soup. I was given a buzzer and found a seat to wait for about 2-3 minutes. The katsudon that arrived looked just like the picture on the menu. When I broke the egg, it was closer to raw than half-cooked. Personally, I would have preferred it to be cooked a bit more, until the egg whites were completely white. The pork was thick and there were 4 pieces. The miso soup that came with it was more like a miso soup with pork flavor, rather than a proper pork soup. Well, considering it's at the gateway to Tokyo and at this price, it's acceptable.

I visited the restaurant around 11am on a Tuesday holiday. Since it was just before lunchtime, the food court was still a bit relaxed. After placing my order at the counter, I was notified when my meal was ready with an electronic buzzer. I received my order without having to wait long, around 10 minutes. The bowl was small but quite heavy, with two cutlets of pork loin. The simple combination of egg and onion had a good balance of sweet and savory flavors, and was very delicious. The meat was tender and the crispy texture of the breading was still somewhat present. At 950 yen, it was reasonably priced for eating at Haneda Airport, and I found it to be so tasty that I would want to eat it again. Looking at the menu of the main store, this one seemed more reasonable, so I recommend it. Thank you for the meal♪

Thank you for the delicious pork cutlet rice bowl♪ This restaurant is located in Tokyo Chefs Kitchen at Haneda Airport. I visited before 1 pm on a weekday. I had the pork cutlet rice bowl with miso soup. It was served in about 5 minutes. The slightly small bowl was just right before my flight. I enjoyed the taste of a famous Ginza restaurant at the airport.

The reason is that I personally only consider donburi as an option for weekday lunches, but I have been having granola for breakfast for the past few years, so I rarely have the opportunity to eat it. Especially katsudon, I think there is no one who dislikes it, and it is definitely one of my favorite dishes. On this day, I arrived at Haneda Airport before noon, so without hesitation, I had katsudon and umemeshi. It goes without saying that katsudon after a long time is awesome, but I suddenly wondered if the quality of Ginza Umebayashi is guaranteed. I want to believe it's just my imagination.

I came to Haneda Airport for my parents' business, which happens every week for various reasons like going home, traveling, and picking up guests. Despite visiting Haneda Airport frequently, I had only used the food court once before, a long time ago, so I couldn't remember which store I had used. Usually, I avoid the food court on weekends and evenings because it's always crowded. However, during a weekday lunchtime, although it wasn't packed, about 95% of the tables were in use. I can only imagine how much busier it will get when inbound travel returns. Now, onto the main topic. I was informed that I would have to wait for about 15-20 minutes before ordering, but since I didn't want to go through the hassle of choosing another place, I went ahead and ordered the Special Pork Cutlet Bowl for ¥1030. Despite the location being usually pricey, the portion was generous and the dish was delicious. I enjoyed it. The location is also convenient, right by the Keikyu station exit.

Although there is still time before my flight, the time is 3:00 PM which is a bit awkward. Feeling hungry since I haven't eaten anything since morning, I decided to eat something hearty and chose this restaurant. It is a famous restaurant in Ginza, but since it is located in a food court, the prices are quite reasonable. I ordered a pork cutlet bowl and oolong tea. For drinks, you show the receipt at a dedicated counter and they will give it to you. An alarm goes off when the order is ready, and I pick it up at the counter. It comes with miso soup and pickles. The taste is good for a food court, but I think Tonkatsu from Umebayashi was even better. Overall, it's a really good food court.

This restaurant is located in the food court of Haneda Airport Terminal 1 building. There are various shops, and after contemplating until the end, I decided on the pork cutlet bowl because I was told that it would take about 8 minutes for the pork cutlet curry. The pork cutlet was voluminous and delicious. The amount of rice was a bit small. The egg was cooked well. The onions were seasoned just right. It was a bit disappointing that the miso soup that came with it was small.

Tokyo Ginza Umebayashi in Tokyo Haneda Airport Terminal 1's Tokyo Chefs Kitchen (food court). It was lunchtime and the place was packed with customers. I chose the "Rosu Katsu Rice" which looked delicious. The portion was generous with plenty of cabbage and a miso soup on the side. The rosu katsu was large with 6 cuts and had a light but flavorful taste. The crispy breading and sauce made it even more appetizing. It had a hint of sweetness and was a luxurious dish. With plenty of cabbage, it was a satisfying meal.

This is the food court on the JAL side. I don't usually use food courts at airports, but I was running late for lunch and the restaurants were all crowded, so I reluctantly went to the food court on the first floor. There were various options like soba, Western food, tonkatsu, etc., and it was a bit overwhelming to choose. I noticed a katsudon with a yellow yolk and decided to go for that. I ordered the Special Hire Katsudon for 1030 yen, received a buzzer, and waited at my seat. The appearance was just like the sample photo, which was good. By the way, the ebi katsudon looked disappointing compared to the sample photo. The hire katsu was incredibly delicious! The sauce on the rice was just right and it was a great choice. I ended up being very satisfied with this last-minute lunch choice. Thank you for the meal. The fact that the miso soup was tonjiru was also a big plus. Self-service for tea and water.

I had the Special Hirekatsu Don at "Tonkatsu Ginza Umehayashi" in the Tokyo Chefs Kitchen at the first passenger terminal basement floor of Haneda Airport (1030 yen). It comes with miso soup and pickles. The special feature is an egg in the middle of the bowl. Umehayashi is a long-established restaurant that first opened in Ginza in 1927 as the first tonkatsu specialty shop in Ginza. The Tokyo Chefs Kitchen in the first terminal building at Haneda Airport has about 8 shops, and Umehayashi is one of them. The menu includes items like: - Rosukatsu Don (950 yen) - Special Hirekatsu Don (1030 yen) - Hirekatsu Don (950 yen) - Hirekatsu Rice (1030 yen) - Rosukatsu Rice (1030 yen) - Jorosukatsu Zen (1320 yen) The Special Hirekatsu Don I had was surprisingly thin but tender with a sweet and savory sauce, and the egg yolk in the middle added a creamy texture as I ate. The portion was satisfying and filled me up. It's a good option for a meal at the airport, although personally, I found it a bit too sweet. Thank you for the meal.

[Tonkatsu Ginza Umebayashi] - Ebi Fry Tamagotoji ¥1,030 Located in Haneda Airport Terminal 1 food court. The dish consists of two large and plump shrimp. They are cooked in a light broth and quite juicy. I wished there was less broth though. #HanedaAirportGourmet #Terminal1 #FoodCourt #GinzaUmebayashi #EbiFryTamagotojiDonburi #PersonalGourmetMemo #FoodDiary

I tried Tonkatsu Ginza Umebayashi for the first time at the food court in Haneda Airport. Although I was also tempted by the omurice, I chose the Special Hirekatsu Don. The special part seemed to be the egg on top. The flavor was rich, but the meat was tender and delicious.
