I knew that Wendy's had closed down here before, but I never expected it to come back as Wendy's First Kitchen. I stumbled upon the store while taking a walk to Akebonobashi and remembered a conversation from the previous day about how delicious Wendy's chili con carne is. So, I decided to go in and ended up ordering just the chili (330 yen including tax) and also felt like having some fries, so I got the French fry chili & cheese (420 yen) and a small size lemonade (230 yen), totaling 650 yen. After placing my order, I waited for it to be ready and went upstairs. While there are a few seats on the first floor, it's quite cramped, so it might be uncomfortable to wait there if there are other customers. The second floor has a decent number of seats and power outlets, and luckily, the Wi-Fi was working fine, but I'll skip that part. The chili wasn't spicy at all, and I kept checking if it was always this mild in taste. It seems like they've made it less spicy to cater to everyone. I noticed on their official website that there's an additional hot chili option for 60 yen, so maybe that's what you should order if you want it spicier? The French fries seemed to have improved in taste recently, but I can't really tell the difference as I didn't try the previous version. They tasted good nonetheless. As for the lemonade, it was initially too sweet for my liking, so I let the ice melt and mix in, but then it lost most of its flavor. I think I accidentally drank most of the concentrated part first. It would've been better if they had mentioned to mix it well before drinking. The staff didn't seem very friendly, and I wish they would improve their customer service skills a bit more. (This is just my personal opinion)

I've been curious about chili con carne for a while now!! The sweetness is a bit strong?? That's how I feel these days. Indeed, the taste is a bit strong, so I think it would be delicious even when dipped with potatoes or something. The sauce that came with it was a bit confusing though, not sure which one it should be dipped in lol.

I had only ever used Wendy's First Kitchen in Yuga before, so I decided to check their website for other locations and found out they also have stores in Akebonobashi and Iidabashi. Today, I visited the store in Akebonobashi. I ordered the Wendy's Burger USA Triple for 960 yen and the Jewel Tapioca Mango for 210 yen. I wanted to get the Flavored Potato as well, but it would have exceeded my lunch budget, so I resisted. Carrying my tray, I went up to the second floor where there were about an equal number of counter seats and table seats, with about half of them still vacant even though it was close to 12:30pm. It was a much calmer and quieter atmosphere compared to the McDonald's in Ichigaya. There was also a completely enclosed smoking room, so the smoking and non-smoking areas were well separated. I had only ever tried up to the double Wendy's Burger before, so I was excited to try the triple today. It did not disappoint in terms of volume and taste. Although it lacked the freshly grilled taste of Fatburger in Shibuya, it had fresh tomatoes and lettuce, making it just as satisfying as Shake Shack. The tapioca drink caught my eye when I passed by the Yuga store, so I finally tried it today. The tapioca pearls were large and plentiful, with a strong mango flavor that I, a mango lover, enjoyed. However, I found the drink itself to be a bit lacking in flavor, more like just milk, and there was a lot of finely crushed ice that made it difficult to pick out the tapioca with the thick straw. Next time, I'll try a different flavor for the tapioca drink, maybe opting for a shake instead. I also want to try the potato next time, so I'll go for a burger that's double or smaller.

I received a scratch card as part of a Spider-Man promotion while killing time. I wasn't sure if the half-price soda float was a winning prize or not, as there was no clear indication. I prefer my tapioca drinks with larger ice cubes, as it can be difficult to drink when there is more ice than tapioca.

I came to buy the hamburger that my junior at work recommended. Unlike the usual hamburgers where a hamburger patty is sandwiched between buns, this one had eggs, lettuce, tomato, bacon, etc. sandwiched between the hamburger patty itself. It may not look as appetizing as the Wild Rock menu, but without the buns, it's low in carbs and won't make you gain weight. Plus, it gives you a satisfying feeling of eating a hamburger! However, it doesn't look very delicious and the price of 650 yen is a bit high. It would be better if it were a bit cheaper. Thank you for the meal.

I had some time before my private party at Yakiniku Hiromiya, so I stopped by here. I purchased a Lemonade S for 200 yen and went to a table on the second floor. Surprisingly, there were many Korean people around me, and Korean language was being spoken in the restaurant. As for the lemonade, it was a bit weak and more like lemon water. But for 200 yen, it was decent. It was a great place to kill time.

I felt like having Wendy's after a long time, so I went there. I had the Wendy's Burger USA with chili fries and a cola set!! It was delicious as always, thank you for the meal.
