The interior of the store is very luxurious and stylish! It's definitely a great place for a date, but it seems like it could also be great for entertaining clients. The Standard Course was recommended, so I chose that course. First, we were served with an appetizer. It was like a bruschetta, but when I heard the explanation, it was a mix of Japanese tapenade sauce with anchovies, black olives, and simmered seaweed, topped with Jerusalem artichoke chips. What!? The overwhelming deliciousness from the appetizer was incredible!Next was Hasegawa Farm's mushroom salad. The mushrooms were served raw, topped with olive oil and pickled cheese. The crunchiness was amazing, and the aroma was really good!Then came the Miyazaki Kuroiwadori chicken tataki. The breast and thigh meat were cooked over charcoal and served rare. The taste was unbelievable with the charcoal flavor, and the texture and umami of the meat were outstanding! The tataki was served with just salt to enjoy the flavor of the ingredients. The taste was so good that it was hard to stop eating it!The next dish was sea urchin shumai with lime leaf aroma. The power of the sea urchin was amazing, and the aroma of the lime leaf was fantastic. The meatiness of the dish was irresistible!Following that was the grilled giant prawn with aioli mayonnaise. The prawn was delicious, and the aioli sauce was a perfect match, making it incredibly tasty!Then we had the Echigo pork mochi pork smoked with Saikyo miso. Saikyo miso is always delicious, and it makes you crave rice. The umami of the pork was irresistible, and it went perfectly with the drinks.Lastly, we had the signature Asian-style chicken rice in a clay pot, which was equivalent to two bowls of rice per person. Mixing cilantro, nuts, and nam pla to your liking made the rice even more delicious! After eating this rice, I was surprisingly hungry again! I definitely want to visit this place again. It's perfect for a date, and you'll definitely impress someone here!In the end, I was really full, the cost performance was great, the commitment to shochu was strongly felt, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was good. I almost forgot about my August experience, where my senior colleague recommended a place in Shibuya to enjoy delicious fish. The place we visited was "IGOR COSY Shibuya Main Store." Location: Located on the way up the deep side of Dōgenzaka from Bunkamura, this restaurant is relatively easy to access as it is closer to the bottom of the slope. Menu: This izakaya specializes in creative Japanese cuisine, and the young and energetic staff members seemed to be in high spirits. The menu had a variety of dishes that paired well with alcohol, but what caught my attention the most was the "Primitive Grilled Fish." Research revealed that this method involves grilling fresh fish or vegetables on skewers over charcoal, allowing the flavors to intensify. Drinks: They have a selection of shochu that they take pride in, and the staff recommended pairings with the dishes. I believe they also served Premium Malt beer. Atmosphere: The location seemed to attract a younger crowd, giving off a slightly youthful vibe despite the restaurant's focus on quality dishes and sophistication. The ambiance might have been more suitable for a quieter setting to fully appreciate the food and drinks. The Primitive Grilled Fish was delicious.

If you want to eat delicious food in Tokyo... I was recommended by a friend and made a reservation. We reserved a table for two, but it was quite narrow, while the other customers who reserved for two had a table twice the size, so maybe our reservation was late. In that case, we might have been better off at the counter seats. The food was all delicious, and the staff were nice, so I would like to visit again! We had the grilled chicken liver, and even though I'm not a fan of liver (especially chicken liver), I was impressed by how delicious it was. It had no smell or chewy texture, it was creamy and tasty. I want to try more menu items, so I will definitely come back! Thank you for the meal.

I was recommended by a friend to visit a store located about 30 seconds walk from Shinsei Station. This store focuses on shochu, which is quite rare in the Kanto region. They also serve charcoal-grilled dishes, which are delicious. I tried their "maewari" shochu, which was very tasty and unique. The charcoal-grilled dishes were also flavorful and enjoyable until the end. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance.

Visited in January 2023 for a meal with old friends. We made a reservation at a popular restaurant in Yoyogi-Uehara called "Maison Sancantosanku," which is directed by Chef Tomohiro Maruyama, known for his work at other popular restaurants like "Aeru." We were very excited to visit. We ordered various dishes a la carte, each with a unique twist, making the experience enjoyable. We had heard they served natural wines, so we asked for recommendations and were not disappointed. It's a casual and stylish izakaya that is very user-friendly. The only downside was that the table seating was a bit cramped, especially if there are a lot of men. I heard rumors about a nice izakaya in Shibuya, so I decided to check it out. The restaurant is located near the Tokyu Department Store, about a 10-minute walk from the station. Despite being in Shibuya, the interior is not typical of the area and has a calm and cozy atmosphere. The food and drinks were both appealing, and I ended up drinking a bit too much. I heard they have a sister store in Jinbocho, so I'm looking forward to visiting there as well. The options for izakayas in Shibuya have increased!

Perfect for a lively meal with friends or a casual date, this place is great because everything you eat is delicious and the staff are friendly, making you want to come back. The signature dish, uni dumplings, are so big that you can't eat them in one bite, which is great. They recommend shochu for drinks, with plenty of different shochu varieties to choose from.
