I came across a souvenir called Madeleine Poul Sable by Pierre Marcolini that is only available at the ANA side of Haneda Airport's Terminal 2. It was a 5-minute walk from the JAL side of Terminal 1 to get there. I tried it with someone at my destination, and it was simply delicious.

On August 30, 2023, I received a souvenir from a colleague who went to Tokyo to see a live concert. It was a Tokyo specialty - Tokyoshokuhinkan Clock Tower No. 3 Dove Sablé. I haven't had this in decades, but I used to enjoy it with milk when I was a child. I don't usually eat sweet things now, but I thought, why not give it a try? And it was delicious! It made my mouth water so much, I remembered that it's best enjoyed with milk. Dove Sablé is considered a Tokyo delicacy, but as someone from Hokkaido, I tend to think that anything sold at Haneda Airport is a Tokyo specialty. Anyway, as long as it tastes good, that's all that matters. I appreciate the souvenir, it was delicious! Thank you for the treat!

At Haneda Airport Terminal 2, there is a souvenir shop that I always visit. I usually buy pigeon-shaped biscuits for my family and myself, but this time I bought Maple Mania cookies as souvenirs for my coworkers. When I brought them to my workplace, they didn't seem to be popular and were not consumed. So, I decided to take a photo and try them myself. They have a strong maple syrup scent, which is delicious but a bit too sweet for my taste. I think next time I'll choose souvenirs that are more suitable for older people.

Yesterday's sweets were from Toyoshimaya, their pigeon-shaped sablé cookies are really delicious. The ingredients are also very simple. You can only buy them at Haneda Airport's Terminal 2, 2nd floor departure lobby in front of clock tower 3 at Tokyo Shokuhinkan. The tin box is cute, but it didn't fit in my big bag, so I ended up getting the cute box of 4 instead. #KamakuraGourmet #SweetsUncle

For dessert at Haneda Airport, I tried the popular limited edition item, the Times Cross baked Gateau Chocolat Rusk. It has a bitter, adult flavor with a crispy texture that is enjoyable. Thank you for the meal! 🌟 #Tokyo #OtaCity #StaggeredDessert #StaggeredSweets #StaggeredRusk #StaggeredGateauChocolat #StaggeredSouvenir

At Haneda Airport, looking for souvenirs. In the Domestic Departures Lobby on the 2nd floor of Terminal 2, there is "Tokyo Shokuhinkan Tokeitai 3-ban Mae" where you can find a variety of Tokyo souvenirs, traditional items, and the latest sweets. Ginza Wakana, founded in 1953, is a long-established pickle shop popular for its pickles from various regions. I bought Yuzu Napa Cabbage (496 yen). The crunchy texture, refreshing yuzu aroma, and light taste will further enhance your dining table.

I visited the shop at Haneda Airport on a weekday and bought a pack of 4 Dove Sablé cookies! The taste is consistent and delicious as always (*^^*) The cookies are shaped like doves, which is cute, and they are very crispy \(^-^)/ Thank you for the meal♪

When you come to Tokyo, make sure to buy West's sweets at the Tokyo Food Guesthouse at the airport. I used to buy them at the main store in Ginza or at department stores, but it's better to buy them at the airport considering the convenience of carrying them around. I buy them individually for home use. I buy two types of dry cakes (cookies) and sablé. They are quite expensive, so this is all I buy (laughs). It's a very delicious sweets shop. You can't buy these sweets in Sapporo, so I recommend them for both home use and souvenirs (laughs). Thank you for the delicious meal!

It has been over six months since business trips have been stopped due to the Wuhan virus pandemic. I had to go on a business audit in Kanagawa, so it was my first trip since March. I wanted to buy Tops chocolate cake as a gift for my family on my way back at Haneda Airport. However, I found out that Tops had closed at the end of July, possibly due to the impact of the virus. I was surprised and ended up buying sweets from a shop called Haruichiro instead. Haruichiro is a popular sweets shop from Hamamatsu, known for their Baumkuchen, pudding, and rusk. Although the shop at Haneda Airport was simple compared to others, I couldn't find any information about it on their website. The Baumkuchen I bought had a subtle aroma of eggs and butter, a light texture, and a moist feel without the need for a drink. It was elegant and not overly sweet, unlike the Baumkuchen I had as a child. Hamamatsu is also famous for its "Unagi Pie" sweets, but I was surprised to discover this trendy sweet treat.

This is a souvenir shop located in the North Wing of Haneda Airport Terminal 1. It is a complex style with several brands. This time, I stopped by Sezondo Setsuko to get some chocolates as they are having a chocolate event. It was quite a challenge for me as an old man, but I quickly found what I was looking for. It's called "Chocolat no Shirabe" priced at 1,080 yen. The name is stylish and it contains 9 pieces, which is a good point. After buying it, I realized that the unit price per piece is 120 yen, which made me feel a bit conflicted. But I've come to accept that this is the norm these days.

On July 9, 2019, I was looking for a place to have a meal and tea at Haneda Airport Terminal 2, when I found this shop in the 2nd floor corridor. I had previously bought the N.Y. Caramel Sand at Daimaru Tokyo store, where I had to wait in line for about an hour, so I was surprised to find that there was no line and I could buy it right away. There were also many Haneda Airport limited sweets available, so I decided to get a box. I tried it as soon as I got home, and it was a dish with a rich sweetness that becomes addictive. Thank you for the meal, this is a shop I definitely want to visit whenever I come to Haneda Airport.

I bought my mom her favorite New York caramel sandwich and she was so happy (*´∀`)♪ She really loves it, so I decided to buy it for her every time I visit home. I also love it, so I should have gotten at least one for myself too haha. The caramel is rich and it's really a recommended souvenir (*´ω`*)

The airport on the first day of Golden Week was bustling. Before boarding the plane, I heard that I could buy N.Y Caramel Sand without the long line that I always see at Daimaru in Tokyo Station, so I headed there. There were about five people in line, but they had a special package at Haneda Airport with four pieces for 500 yen, so I bought it without hesitation. It's perfect as a souvenir. It was convenient to be able to use my Suica card and ID as well. I enjoyed it while waiting in the lounge. The gold packaging gives it a luxurious feel. The sandwich is coated in chocolate with a gooey caramel center. It's definitely sweet, but satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

I love the Maple Mania cookies, and I often buy them when using Haneda Airport. The butter financiers they give out as samples are delicious too, but there are more cookies, so I prefer them. As the name suggests, these cookies have a maple and butter aroma. They are of the Langue de Chat type. I wonder how the taste of just the chocolate in the middle is, but it perfectly blends together and cannot be separated. Whether it's the chocolate or the Langue de Chat, the sweet aroma of maple makes me happy. I keep buying them for myself many times, wondering what exactly "Tokyo souvenir" means. Maple Butter Cookies 18 pieces 1840 yen.

After eating a tonkatsu lunch and heading towards the security inspection area, I discovered a popular snack at Daimaru Tokyo store! I immediately got the N.Y. Caramel Sand 16-piece box for 2160 yen (tax included) at the New York City Sand stand in Tokyo Shokuhinkan Clock Tower 3. I brought it as a souvenir and enjoyed it on multiple occasions. The butter cookie was crispy, the chocolate was crunchy, and the caramel was gooey, creating a unique texture reminiscent of honey-glazed rice crackers. Everyone who tried it mentioned that it was extremely sweet, so it might be irresistible for those who love sweet treats. Although there were long lines at the store, it might be worth it as they sell exclusive seasonal and limited-time products. However, if you are purchasing it for business purposes or as a gift, you can avoid the lines and buy it directly. The black box looks luxurious, but it easily shows fingerprints, so I recommend asking the staff for a box from the back instead of picking one up while waiting in line. If you bring it back as a gift during a business trip, it will surely impress, especially with your boss. I enjoyed the highly praised and popular Caramel Sand. Thank you for the treat!

At Haneda Airport, while waiting for my flight, my throat started feeling scratchy, so I searched for non-convenience store candies and came across the nostalgic Eitai Sei Ame. I was surprised to see that there are now many shops selling it! I thought it was only available in department stores, so it was a bit of a surprise. Eitai Sei Ame candies are like shiny jewels in a tin can, with a taste similar to gold sugar candy that brought back memories. So, I decided that this was the perfect item to moisten my throat! There were many different varieties available. In my memory, they all tasted pretty much the same, so I decided to buy the mysterious Umeboshi-flavored (Umeboshi-bo-shi) candy and the throat candy together. The throat candy had a slightly cool mint flavor. The aftertaste remained the same. There also seemed to be a milk flavor available, but they were out of stock at this store. I would like to try it next time.

I was shocked by the New York Caramel Sandwich I had at my parents' house, so when I flew back to the Kanto region, I bought it at Haneda Airport. It seems that there are limited places where you can buy it according to online information. Some places may have lines, but I was able to buy it without waiting here. It's completely for myself, but I bought a large size, haha. The caramel has an amazing richness, maybe because they use brown sugar. The elegant sweetness of the caramel and the chocolate. It's incredibly delicious and I absolutely love it (*´ω`*) I still have more left, so I will enjoy it slowly (・ω・* ) I think I will definitely buy it every time I use Haneda Airport in the future.

It's great that they open early in the morning. I bring individually wrapped items with me when I board the plane. It's exciting to have a little luxury on the flight.

The expiration date is short. There are many Tokyo souvenirs and it can be overwhelming. I like chicks. The box is pink and cute, and light! Convenient to carry around. When you eat it, it has a very light texture and is not too sweet. Recommended for those who don't like sweet things. The shop itself was not too crowded, so it's easy to choose. The package looks like it has white chocolate on it, but it doesn't really taste like white chocolate! So it's recommended for those who don't like sweet things.
