The food supermarket Life showed me a sense of urban style that I, who had only known local food supermarkets in the electric railway eight companies so far, had never seen before. From side dishes to everything, there is a twist and ingenuity in everything. Maybe it's because the headquarters is nearby that this is the flagship store. When I move next time, I want to live near Life again.

Our team's food supply base, Super LIFE in Okachimachi food warehouse, is keeping our team well-fed. A big, fat, splendid sweet potato caught my eye - "Kakichi's Silk Sweet" for 398 yen. It seemed a bit pricey, but I decided to buy it with hopes of it being delicious. The feedback from the sweets department was positive. Although at first I felt a bit disappointed that it wasn't oozing with honey like other sweet potatoes, once I peeled and took a bite, it was incredibly delicious. It had a sticky sweetness, a unique texture different from regular sweet potatoes or fluffy potatoes, and a deep flavor. It reminded me of a rich chestnut taste. I heard that they use fossilized coral in the sweet potato production at Kakichi's farm in Ibaraki. It was a luxurious treat worth trying again. Life really impressed me.

This is the dinner on the 12th day of the 2-week carbohydrate restriction challenge. Rice is not allowed in a low-carb diet, but meat is okay. Lamb meat is especially low in carbs, making it a good choice for carb restriction. Since I couldn't find plain lamb meat, I bought seasoned "Lamb Ginger" for 398 yen (excluding tax). I also bought a vegetable stir-fry mix and small soybean sprouts to cook together. I was happy to see plenty of lamb meat, but it turned out that only the surface was lamb meat and the rest was just onions. It was tasty, but towards the end, it was all onions. I had leftover vegetable stir-fry mix and small soybean sprouts, so I cooked them with chicken broth soup base. It turned out quite delicious. I also enjoyed the mandarin orange and tofu. The sata andagi was crispy and delicious. Better than Mister Donut. If you're eating Mister Donut's old fashioned, you'll be happier eating Life's sata andagi. The quality of supermarket bakeries has been improving lately.
