I chose yakitori at the request of my friends I hadn't seen in a while. ^_^ As soon as we entered, the lovely staff greeted us with smiles, setting the stage for a delicious meal. Each yakitori dish, from the grilling to the eating, was just right. ^_^ We were a bit nervous ordering the seasonal Manju, but it was surprisingly affordable and the restaurant turned out to be great. They also had sashimi, which was fresher and tastier than your average fish market. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try a variety of dishes. ^_^ Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. I will definitely go back. ^_^

I went on a Friday around 8pm with a reservation and no wait. We spent about 12,000 yen for two people, but I forgot what we ate. The yakitori was all delicious and generously sized, but the service was incredibly slow. The first dish we ordered took 45 minutes to arrive, during which we only had appetizers. They also brought mentaiko instead of miso and had to cook it again. Surprisingly, the drinks came quickly. I won't be returning.

Today was a drinking party with colleagues from work. Drinking with friends you are comfortable with is always enjoyable! The restaurant I casually researched and made a reservation at turned out to be a hit, which made me happy! We started off with Sapporo Lager (bottle), which has a refreshing taste that goes down smoothly. We opted for a la carte instead of a course menu. Here's what we ordered: - Appetizer - Potato salad - Celery - Scallop chanja - Beef tendon stew - Edamame - Liver - Green onion - Heart - Intestine - Quail marinated in soy sauce - French fries - Tea beans - Plum crystal - Pickled vegetables assortment - Seared mentaiko - Smoked cheese Looking back, we ate quite a lot! We probably conquered about 70% of the dishes! Each dish was a perfect accompaniment to our drinks! In particular, the restaurant's charcoal-grilled dishes were delicious! The grilled pork liver, heart, and intestines were surprisingly large and full of flavor! They were fresh and tender! The sweet sauce was also excellent! We mainly enjoyed shochu and sake for drinks. For dessert-like finish, we had the homemade sangria. It was fruity and delicious! We sat in a semi-private area separated by wooden blinds, so we could focus on our conversations without being disturbed by the noise from the restaurant. It was a bit of a walk from Shinjuku Station, but the delicious food and generous portions left us very satisfied! I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

Located about an 8-minute walk from Shinjuku Nishiguchi, this yakitori izakaya has a traditional Japanese atmosphere. It's not really a hidden gem, so keep that in mind. I made a reservation and there were still some empty seats during the prime time of 7:00 PM on a weekday. The food is tastier than the popular chain izakayas. The drinks are reasonably priced as well, making it a good choice for going with colleagues or close friends. It's a safe and enjoyable izakaya. Thank you for the meal! ✨

Cheap and delicious authentic yakitori restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also good. The charcoal-grilled yakitori was exquisite, cooked to perfection. I couldn't get in without a reservation when I went once without one, so this time I made a reservation in advance. Although I didn't order it this time, there were many sashimi options on the menu. The ponzu sauce with shirako was delicious, so the seafood dishes may also be delicious. Yeah, it's a great restaurant.

I used this place for a business meeting. This area seems to have many hidden gems, and this restaurant is one of them. I ordered a course meal with yakitori as the main dish. The dishes had a good amount of volume and were delicious, making me very satisfied. The fried chicken, in particular, was at a specialty store level. So tasty. This place is in Nishi-Shinjuku, which feels like a local area, so I will definitely come back. Please let me visit again. Thank you very much. Itadakimasu (^_−)−☆

The shop was clean but a bit narrow because it had a counter. It was a bit noisy with groups having drinking parties. The chicken breast with wasabi was shockingly delicious! The prosciutto salad was disappointing because the pepper was too strong and made me cough. Everything else was delicious! I would like to go again. Thank you for the meal ♡

The french fries were delicious with the preferred thickness. The pork belly with leeks was full of vegetables and the pork was tender, making it a tasty meat dish with a gentle flavor. The Japanese-style shrimp mayo had a different taste with black sesame sauce. I prefer the regular shrimp mayo. We also ordered a skewer assortment, but I forgot to take a photo. I think it had chicken thighs, gizzards, tail meat, meatballs, and leeks. I would like to try the course menu next time. I want to go back again.

This is a shop located next to the famous curry restaurant FISH. There is a sign saying that they have started serving lunch. It seems that they have been serving lunch since the beginning of the year, based on MyRebi's visit a few months ago. When visited around 12 o'clock, there were 2 customers already there and no customers came in after. They offer lunch menu and regular menu on Saturdays, and we chose the lunch menu. The options included fried chicken, omurice, mackerel miso, and minced meat hamburger, all priced at less than 1000 yen. We decided to share the fried chicken and omurice, and added a salad for 100 yen. You can choose between miso-based or yogurt-based dressing for the salad, and we chose miso. The salad was voluminous with nearly 10 types of vegetables and a delicious dressing. The fried chicken was flavorful and came with lemon and a sauce similar to oil-drizzled chicken for added flavor. The omurice had a rich sauce with a hint of Japanese flavor, and it came with a side of potato salad that was slightly charred and fragrant. (January 2021)

I visited this place located at the back of the 2nd floor of the building. The background music is Western music. I ordered the "fried chicken set" for lunch. It was served in about 10 minutes. The fried chicken, with strong spices, was voluminous with five pieces. The chicken meatball soup had too many mixed flavors and was mediocre.

Today's lunch was at KOYOI in Shinjuku North Exit. Since it was right after opening, there were no customers and I was able to enter smoothly. I wasn't sure what to order, but when I saw "omurice" on the menu, I immediately decided to order it. This omurice was not made with ketchup, but rather had a more like a yakiniku restaurant style. It didn't look very appealing, but when I tried it, I found it to be delicious in its own way. The atmosphere was nice, so I would like to come back for dinner next time.

The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, the variety of dishes is plentiful, and the restaurant is clean. Overall, I have no complaints. However, when the restaurant gets busy, the food service can be a bit slow. But the staff is friendly, so it's forgivable. It's best to visit when you have plenty of time to relax and enjoy.

I visited this restaurant in Tokyo with my mother who came from the countryside for some errands. I was a bit concerned before entering about it being full of local regulars or having a formal atmosphere, but once inside, it had just the right ambiance. Even my mother, who was a bit bewildered by the night in the city, easily fit in with the very comfortable atmosphere! As for the food, the yakitori was truly outstanding! Especially the liver was cooked to perfection! I would come back just for this liver. If you're not averse to liver, I highly recommend ordering it. And then there's the appetizer. This time it was potatoes with minced chicken in a sweet and salty sauce. The perfect balance of flavors in the minced chicken sauce was incredibly delicious. I wonder if they use this sauce in other dishes as well? We tried various other dishes, and all of them were beautifully presented and delicious! The restaurant is a bit far from the station, but is this what they call a hidden gem? With friendly staff, a great atmosphere, and delicious food, this restaurant is a safe bet for a casual date or any other occasion!

Midweek, it was crowded. It seemed like the tables were full probably due to reservations. I ordered some grilled chicken and skewers. The skewer assortment arrived one by one, with sauce and salt chosen by the chef. I had five skewers of chicken breast, heart, green onion and chicken meatball, and liver. I also ordered gizzards and neck meat. The chicken breast came with yuzu pepper which added a spicy kick. The meat was rare and very moist. The heart had a good texture and the flavor of lean meat. The green onion and blackened onion had a nice aroma and a juicy filling that wasn't too hot. The combination with the chicken meat was delicious. The liver was moist and tender with a unique flavor but not overpowering. The meatball had a crunchy texture, probably due to cartilage. The gizzards had a different crunchy texture from the heart, with just the right size and a chewy, bouncy texture. I drank plenty of sake and left satisfied.

Shinjuku Station is a bit of a walk, but the atmosphere is cozy and the interior is stylish and lively, making it a comfortable place to be! I went there looking for grilled beef, but it was sold out, so I want to go back a little earlier next time for a rematch! The appetizers and skewers were delicious too! I want to go again!

This day, we went drinking in Shinjuku. Summer said she wanted to try this favorite place of ours, so the Nuka Group* with Foodies had a girls' night out (*´ω`*) Nanazou and Foodie-chan were running late for the pre-party, so we went to pick up Summer who was standing guard, and cheers in advance♪ We had the following dishes here: - Uni Pasta: I really wanted to try this! It's a secret menu item, not listed on the menu, but they will make it for you if they have the ingredients. The rich sauce is so delicious (*´ω`*) I feel like having rice with it♡ - Liver: The grilled skewers here are cooked perfectly♡ It's so tender and tasty! - Some kind of salad: I only tried this one, the rest was left untouchedw - Some tempura - Appetizers: Always tasty every time I eat them (*´ω`*) - New potatoes and asparagus with Camembert cheese: Always delicious every time I eat them (*´ω`*) - Potato fries: Always delicious every time I eat them (*´ω`*) I seem to have a routine of eating the same things every time, so I'm looking forward to new menu items (especially the appetizers...w). The restaurant was fully booked that day, so we had to wait for the bottle and ice to arrive, but the glasses didn't come, and it was hard to flag down the staff (^_^;) Well, some days are like that, right! Thank you for the meal! *The Nuka Group... A group of beautiful women known as the Nuka Joy Group in the food review world. The members are Nanazou, Nagarekawa Natsuki, and Chee50.

Well, it's time for a drinking party after eating a lot in the afternoon♪ I've always wanted to come to this restaurant after seeing Chi-chan and Nanazou's reviews (о´∀`о) I met up with Chi-chan after work and went into the restaurant. Nanazou and the lovely ladies are having drinks at a different place, so we didn't have to wait and started toasting with Chi-chan♪ヽ(´▽`)/ We ordered food once everyone arrived. Here's a summary of what we had: - Appetizer: A stylish simmered dish, very delicious. - Ume Shochu: Always a must-order if it's on the menu, delicious as usual. - Edamame - Caesar Salad: Only Haruki wanted salad even though there were four girls haha. The fried egg on top was interesting and the presentation was beautiful. - Liver: So tender and delicious, I wanted more. - Cheese Fries: Consistently delicious. The fried cherry tomatoes were surprisingly tasty too. - Potato Cheese Asparagus: Haruki's choice, also very delicious. - Potato Fries: Haruki chose another potato dish haha. They were fluffy and tasty. - Uni Pasta: Not on the menu apparently, but the lovely ladies requested it when making the reservation. It was incredibly rich and delicious. We started pouring drinks from a bottle halfway through and had a great time, but before we knew it, it was already past the last bus time haha. Since my home was far away, I sadly had to leave alone. All the dishes were delicious, so I want to come back and try more. (≧▽≦)

- A cozy izakaya with a calm atmosphere. - Grilled leek and chicken heart skewers. - Traditional-style liver paste from a yakitori restaurant. - Chirping (probably a dish name). - Cheese and shiso leaf fritters. - Edamame. - Assorted three appetizers. - Complimentary appetizer. - The restaurant used to be open until morning, but seems to have changed now. - The variety of alcoholic drinks is abundant.

KYOI in Shinjuku is a popular yakitori restaurant located in the area of Nishi-Shinjuku, which is the sister store of Marupin. The restaurant has a slightly sophisticated atmosphere where you can also enjoy wine. The owner personally selects domestically sourced chicken and grills each skewer carefully over binchotan charcoal, bringing out the natural flavor of the chicken with just the right amount of fat and texture. The secret sauce, passed down from Marupin, adds to the delicious taste of the yakitori.
