Asakusa at night. Asakusa Temple with its solemn atmosphere, a popular izakaya with a traditional downtown feel... This city is filled with everything I love, and I really love it. I celebrated his birthday in Asakusa. I wanted to celebrate it in a nice, quiet place, so I made a reservation at this restaurant! It was my first time using this place. We ordered the foie gras and black wagyu beef course. On the day, the staff told us that we could upgrade the beef rank. They also mentioned that we could share the dishes. We decided to upgrade one to sirloin and have half of each prepared. This turned out to be a great choice!!! By having half of each, we were able to enjoy two types of beef and it made us very happy. The foie gras might become hard to get in the future, so this menu might not be available next year... The owner is from Okinawa, so there were Okinawan items all around the place... There were also many types of awamori. The staff's hospitality was overflowing, and it's a relaxed place where you can enter without feeling too formal. I would definitely like to use this place again. It's highly recommended for a small celebration. Since it's teppanyaki, you can also see a fire performance.

It's close to Asakusa and not a street-level store, so you can enjoy your meal in a calm atmosphere. It's recommended for celebrating birthdays without being too fancy, with options like meat, garlic rice, and birthday plates. There are 6 seats at the teppanyaki counter. Depending on the drinks, I think it's a good deal for around 10,000 yen per person for teppanyaki. They confirm dislikes, allergies, etc. when making reservations or on the day of the visit, which was thoughtful. The portion size seems sufficient. The photos show courses with spiny lobster, sirloin and Chateaubriand steak, garlic rice, birthday plate, appetizers, etc.

The restaurant focuses on the origin of ingredients and cooking methods, explaining each dish carefully. The owner, who is from Okinawa, uses many Okinawan ingredients. The restaurant has 6 counter seats and 3 tables, providing excellent service and food. The teppanyaki dishes are reasonably priced and the meat is delicious. It is recommended to sit at the counter to see the flambé process after being cooked. You can also upgrade the meat grade or change the garlic rice in the course menu. The sauce made with miso from spiny lobster is exquisite, and dipping the lobster meat in rice or garlic rice is also recommended. The dessert, Monaka Vanilla Ice Cream, uses meringue for a unique texture that melts in your mouth. We enjoyed our meal today as well.

Stylish and clean shop, attentive staff, meticulously prepared dishes, beautiful plates and ceramics, overall a wonderful restaurant. When it comes to teppanyaki, I usually feel a bit heavy and too full by the end of the meal, but this place served just the right amount with delicious meat and other dishes. Thank you for the feast!

I visited around 6:00 pm on a weekday. There were about 3 groups, around 6 people, already seated. By 7:00 pm, the restaurant was full. I recommend making a reservation before visiting. The appetizers were delicious, such as crab ankake, roast beef, and teppanyaki with spring vegetables, which paired well with beer or highball. The spiny lobster was carefully prepared and very easy to eat. For the main course, we had half of the lean meat and half of the Chateaubriand. The lean meat had a firm texture and rich flavor, while the Chateaubriand had a mild taste with high-quality oil. The garlic rice at the end was also excellent. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for celebrating my birthday. I made a reservation here because it has good access for strolling around Asakusa. It was a Saturday lunch. I had the lunch course with lobster and Wagyu beef. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I was able to enjoy my meal peacefully. I had seen photos on Instagram, and the birthday plate was really cute!

I used the lunch course. I wanted to eat foie gras for the first time in a while, so I chose the steak and foie gras course. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was delicious. I chose lean meat for the meat, but I was very happy that the restaurant kindly made it a half with ribeye. Not only the meat and foie gras were delicious, but also the miso soup, pickles, daikon and apple served with the foie gras were delicious in every detail, and I was very happy. Next time, I would like to use it for a celebration. Thank you for the wonderful food and service.

Today I had a meal with a high school friend I haven't seen in a long time. When I arrived at the restaurant my friend had already been seated at the table. He's still as punctual as ever, haha. I'm usually on time so I don't keep people waiting, but I never arrive late. Today, our main purpose was to catch up so we chose a set course, which included lobster and black wagyu beef. Pretty typical, right? It's like the common denominator of teppanyaki menus. We toasted with a highball and oolong tea. The appetizer was lobster bisque, which honestly looked like leftover lobster. Oh well. The first course was edamame tofu with corn and fava bean stir-fry, and I didn't catch the name of the other dish because we were too busy talking. There was no soup, just a plate of mixed vegetables, which was nicely presented but lacked flavor. Of course, the main dish was lobster, but it was quite small and didn't leave a lasting impression. They brought out winter melon as a side dish, but even as a filler, I wish there was more portion. Are they confusing kaiseki and kaiseki-ryori? The main course was black wagyu steak, with decent meat quality but slightly disappointing in terms of uneven cooking which made it hard to say it was delicious. Even if they told me to eat rice with it, I wouldn't want to... The matcha ice cream for dessert was delicious though! And with that, the meal was over. It was a very suitable course that didn't interrupt our conversation and allowed us to focus on talking. But of course, I couldn't resist taking photos... haha. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant after hearing that the lunch set with lean meat and Ise ebi (Japanese spiny lobster) was ¥4500. Ended up ordering additional meat and the total bill came to around ¥17000 for two people, so the cost performance was just average. However, the food was delicious. I especially appreciated that they didn't skimp on the dessert.

Located on the 7th floor of a building about a 3-minute walk from Asakusa's Kaminarimon Gate, this casual and cozy teppanyaki restaurant exudes a traditional Japanese atmosphere from its dishes and interior. Hello (^o^)/ In December 2021, when the situation with Covid-19 had calmed down significantly, I decided to go on a trip with my travel companions after a long time. Prior to that, I made a reservation for this restaurant that I had been wanting to try through Tabelog. We visited with 3 people. A friend had recommended this place, mentioning that the owner's other restaurant near Makishi Station on Kokusai Street in Naha, Okinawa, had a similar atmosphere. I ordered the Foie Gras and Black Wagyu Beef Course (6,820 yen) with a change to garlic rice (additional 330 yen). The course menu will be uploaded as a photo. As for drinks, I had various ones that I can't remember, including beer, sake, and awamori. The awamori recommended by the staff was very easy to drink and delicious. We sat at a table since there were 3 of us. By around 7 pm, the restaurant was full. The presentation of the dishes seemed to be more conscious of Japanese aesthetics compared to the one in Naha. My travel companions enjoyed their meals as well. Thanks to the delicious food, our travel meeting was lively and enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful meal (///ω///)♪ (Review rating at the time: 3.08 stars)

I thought it was a very thoughtful and attentive shop! They replied politely to the reservation question email, and on the day of the visit, they provided service that was neither too close nor too distant. The meat itself was delicious, of course! The exquisite cooking and high-quality meat and foie gras were outstanding. I upgraded to a 1.5x portion of lean meat and fillet, but even at this price, I think the cost performance is excellent.

The experience felt somewhat incomplete. While the price of 11,000 yen per person is typical for a teppanyaki restaurant, the quality of the food, presentation, service, and atmosphere were far superior. The meat was not seasoned before cooking, so it lacked flavor. I tried both the rump and the Chateaubriand, and unfortunately, the rump lacked the rich taste I was hoping for. The grilled vegetables looked dull in color. Since food should be visually appealing, I thought it would be better to include some vegetables with more color. Although the chef cooked the food in front of us, their knife skills seemed lacking in finesse.

Located on the 7th floor of the Kaminarimon Building on Kaminarimon Street, somewhere between Asakusa Station and Tahara Station. I've been craving delicious teppanyaki steak for a while now because my last experience was disappointing... even though I didn't write about it in my review. The restaurant has a calm and traditional Japanese atmosphere with counter seats and two table seats. I always prefer enjoying teppanyaki steak at the counter to fully engage my senses! For lunch, I had the Foie Gras and Black Wagyu Beef course for ¥3800, with an upgrade to Sirloin Steak for an additional ¥1500 and Garlic Rice for an extra ¥300. The appetizer trio served in a lovely bento box featured autumn ingredients like ginkgo nuts and autumn salmon. The Foie Gras came in two variations: one with a miso and sansho pepper sauce for a Japanese touch, and the other with a balsamic sauce and pink peppercorns for a Western flair. Both were rich and delicious. The Aomori Black Wagyu Beef Sirloin was cooked perfectly medium-rare and served with daikon ponzu, wasabi, garlic chips, black pepper, and rock salt. I personally enjoyed the rock salt the most as it brought out the natural flavor of the meat. The daikon ponzu was also very tasty! The Garlic Rice was excellent as well. For dessert, I had ice cream sandwich and crème brûlée, accompanied by coffee and rooibos tea. I was delighted to find my favorite crème brûlée and rooibos tea on the menu. The staff was very polite and friendly, and the overall dining experience was fantastic with delicious food.

The service was extremely slow. Despite making a reservation, it took about 30 minutes after being seated for the first dish to be brought out. The taste was nothing special either. It was a teppanyaki restaurant with counter seating, but it was not relaxing as the staff were busy preparing side dishes right in front of us.

I had lunch at Asakusa Kudaka, located between Asakusa Station and Taharamachi Station. It is a high-class teppanyaki restaurant. Since it was a special day, I made a reservation for a course in advance. The course included foie gras and red meat. Before starting the course, I ordered a drink. The recommended wines were explained to me in detail. There were also various soft drinks available, and the grape juice that looked like wine was delicious. The appetizers were elaborately prepared and delicious, and both the foie gras and meat were excellent! We ordered different types of meat for two people and were able to have a half-and-half combination. The tenderness and deliciousness of the Chateaubriand meat were impressive! The anniversary plate was also very cute and elaborately designed. Both the food and the staff were great, making it a wonderful anniversary lunch. Thank you very much!

I used it for a birthday celebration, and it was almost like a private booking, which added to the special feeling. We had a course with lobster and black wagyu beef. I thought the variety of dishes was a bit limited, but I had no problem finishing everything and felt full. Both the lobster and beef were delicious and had great value for money. It was a great teppanyaki experience.

Today we had teppanyaki in Asakusa. Lately, I seem to be eating teppanyaki a lot. After sightseeing, we headed to KUDAKA in Asakusa for teppanyaki. It was on the 7th floor of a building, and it felt much closer than it looked on Google Maps. The interior of the restaurant had a Japanese style, and there were also foreign customers, giving it a real Asakusa vibe. The dishes were satisfying, with both meat and spiny lobsters being served. It seems like a great place to celebrate special occasions. I will definitely come back when I visit Asakusa again!

I was invited to a birthday celebration lunch. I love shrimp that is cooked through, so I really enjoyed the course meal with Ise shrimp as the appetizer. The flavors were delicate and the meat and shrimp were delicious. Even though I love shrimp, I used to not like miso, but I discovered that miso can taste so good when properly grilled! And to top it off, I received a Snoopy birthday plate that the owner seemed to have drawn. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with few seats, so I could relax and enjoy my time there. It was a very happy birthday, and I definitely want to visit this restaurant again. ✨

The meat is not branded beef, but it is selected based on taste, which allows them to offer it at a reasonable price. The dishes were very satisfying for the price. The staff were all polite and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. The wine was also reasonably priced starting at 650 yen per glass. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

When I went sightseeing in Asakusa and felt like eating meat, I found this restaurant, "KUDAKA". 《Appetizer Assortment》 Several appetizers in small dishes arrived. It's a visually appealing appetizer. 《Foie Gras Teppanyaki》 A stylish green plate caught my eye. Foie gras is delicately arranged on it. Rich and delicious. The sauce seasoning is also great. 《Wagyu Sirloin Steak》 The steak was grilled right in front of me. Teppanyaki is enjoyable for all the senses. Even while waiting, you can enjoy it, it's that kind of dish. Now, a bite. It's tender, and the flavor of the meat spreads in my mouth. Delicious. 《Sake》 I also had several types of sake with the meat. Drinking sake in a champagne glass is quite stylish. You can fully enjoy the aroma, so it's wonderful. 《Sukiyaki》 This sukiyaki is also unique. It overturns the conventional concept of sukiyaki. Elegant seasoning and the umami of the meat match well. 《Purple Sweet Potato Ice Cream》 Finally, this is the dessert to finish. I have a separate stomach for sweets. Everything was delicious, and I was so impressed because I didn't expect to enjoy such a wonderful teppanyaki in Asakusa. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I chose this place for a friend's birthday celebration because it was rumored to have a surprise birthday plate. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was cozy with nostalgic JPOP music playing in the background. We had the place to ourselves during a weekday afternoon, which made for a luxurious experience. The meat and foie gras were amazing! It was a delightful and happy time. The birthday plate brought out by the staff at the end was top-notch! My friend was very pleased and it made me happy too. The fact that you can bring a baby along is also a wonderful point. Thank you very much!
