The sashimi is fresh, with a variety of blue fish. The fried horse mackerel is large and delicious. The grilled salmon belly in Kyoto style is excellent. The mackerel sushi is impressive. This restaurant serves delicious fish dishes. They also have a variety of drinks. I think it's a good restaurant. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious.

I'm not particularly fond of blue fish, but every dish I had didn't taste like blue fish at all and was very easy to eat. The course menu I ordered felt quite filling. There were various types of sake available, allowing me to enjoy the combination of alcohol and food. I would like to try various dishes a la carte next time.

Specializing in fresh, locally sourced blue fish, Omikura offers a weekly changing set menu for 1200 yen. Located a 6-minute walk from Shibuya Station's Miyamasuzaka Exit, along Bitake Street, the star of the show is the thinly sliced pork loin tonkatsu seasoned with miso sauce. Unlike Nagoya's miso katsu, this tonkatsu has a gently flavorful taste. The sweetness of the pork is easily detectable, making it a unique dish. Alongside the main dish, the sashimi side includes mackerel, tuna, and sea bream, accompanied by grated yam and pickled Japanese ginger. You'll definitely want to have seconds of rice with this meal.

Visited this restaurant for a colleague's farewell party. The person leaving is a fan of fish, so I had no doubt in choosing this place. I made a reservation in advance, so we were able to get a private room. This place is all about enjoying mackerel. They offer mackerel sashimi, grilled mackerel, marinated mackerel, mackerel sushi, mackerel fry, and more. It's a mackerel lover's paradise. The taste is, of course, delicious. The dishes other than mackerel are also excellent. Enjoying a mackerel feast with sake is the best.

I usually go for lunch, but the fish is so delicious that I wanted to eat it while drinking alcohol. I also wanted to try the legendary fried horse mackerel. I went with a friend on a Friday night. The atmosphere was different from lunchtime, quiet and relaxing. The sashimi was delicious as always, with firm texture. The variety of horse mackerel was impressive. The appetizers were stylish and the flavors were delicate and delicious. The long-awaited fried horse mackerel was also ordered. It was crispy, hot, and delicious. I'm glad I came. By the way, I'm a secret fan. The female chef was wonderful. I will definitely go back!

A specialty seafood izakaya located on Miyamasaka in Shibuya. A rather unique type of restaurant. The interior has both traditional tatami seating and sunken kotatsu tables. While there are no private rooms for large groups, there are partitions available. I used this place for a business dinner with clients. Upgraded the meal course to include a 2000 yen all-you-can-drink option. For an additional 500 yen, you can have all-you-can-drink access to eight types of sake. The course included the following dishes:
- Assorted cold dishes with blue fish
- Seared mackerel sushi
- Mackerel dashi chawanmushi with winter vegetable sauce
- Assorted fresh sashimi
- Grilled amberjack
- Deep-fried horse mackerel with red shiso
- Shirasu (whitebait) condiment hot pot rice
Each dish was delicious, especially the famous mackerel sushi. We also added their signature dish:
- Handmade horse mackerel fry
We were surprised by the size of the dish, which was enough for four people. It was crispy, satisfying, and delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of sake and shochu, which was disappointing. In the end, the horse mackerel fry was the best dish. Thank you for the meal.

President of Sheriroze Co., Ltd., human resources educator, and director of the Etiquette Beauty School, Toshihide Igaki here. After a meeting regarding employee training, I was taken to this restaurant by the president of S Company, the training location. The staff members are all around 30 years old, bright, and have a good vibe. My favorite sake in the world, Kuro Ryu, was available. It's rare to find a place with Kuro Ryu, so I was already impressed. The cabbage salad was visually appealing and refreshing. It had a stylish touch, and I could feel the good taste. The restaurant's specialty, "aji fry," was large, thick, fluffy, and really delicious. The most impressive dish was the "oboro tofu with thick fried tofu." The crispy exterior encased the richness of the tofu, creating a delicious and moving taste. The taro croquettes and bone senbei were also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The extra-large fried horse mackerel set meal is popular at this izakaya for lunch, but it often sells out early so it's hard to have a chance to eat it. I also enjoy the grilled and simmered fish menu. The fatty mackerel is grilled over charcoal, giving it a crispy surface and a tender inside. The mild taste of seaweed salt enhances the flavor. The set meal includes rice, miso soup, sashimi, grated yam soup, and pickles. The rice and miso soup are refillable, so I usually get a second helping of rice and finish the meal with the grated yam soup. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On Saturday night, gather at Mikuriya! A course meal centered around mackerel. Appetizer, sashimi, wagyu beef, mackerel shabu-shabu, horse mackerel fry, soba, and ice lemon sour to accompany. The sake menu is also extensive! The sashimi is incredibly fresh and impressive. The wagyu beef melts in your mouth instantly, making you search for where it went. And my first experience with mackerel shabu-shabu. Eating it with vegetables makes your blood clean! The most surprising dish was the horse mackerel fry!! Crispy and juicy, and the tartar sauce on the side is incredibly rich and delicious! It was a happy mackerel life. It was a time when I learned the importance of mackerel.

Once again, I went out for lunch. This place in Shibuya is currently my number one choice for office lunches. The charcoal-grilled fatty mackerel is truly delicious. There are various places around here that serve fish for lunch, but the grilling here is done with care, resulting in a crispy outside and a fluffy inside for the mackerel. It's consistently good. The sashimi is also very fresh. I've never had the chance to try the legendary fried horse mackerel. I saw someone else being served it for the first time. It's huge!!

Located about a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, this izakaya is situated up Miyamasuzaka and off the main street. If you're unsure what to order, go for the assorted three types of obanzai and the saba (mackerel) platter! Enjoy a dish with fresh mackerel prepared in various ways such as simmered, sashimi, and sesame mackerel. They offer a wide variety of sake as well. Other intriguing menu items include saba shabu-shabu and battera sushi. The staff provides excellent customer service, creating a pleasant and comfortable dining experience. The saba-centric course available for pre-order also seems like a great value, so I'm looking forward to trying it next time!

I honestly didn't have high expectations since it's just blue fish, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sashimi and grilled dishes were delicious. They have a wide variety of drinks, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and perfect for important conversations. A must-try recommendation here includes:
- Assorted blue fish sashimi
- Seasonal mixed rice
- Grilled mackerel with salt
- Rolled omelette

I went on a stroll in Shibuya using the Gotoeat vouchers. I visited Halloween, Asia Kaikan, and had a meal with Mr. Kimura at Ohja. Their famous dish is the fried horse mackerel, but I ordered the fatty mackerel. It was a delicious three-piece sashimi platter, miso soup, and tea. The quality of the mackerel was quite high. I used a coupon and paid only 200 yen.

It's been a while since I had lunch in Shibuya. On the way to Hanazono, my colleague and I saw a new restaurant and decided to change our plans. The entrance had an open kitchen with an L-shaped counter, but since there were three of us, we opted for a semi-private booth in the back. As the sign indicated, the restaurant specialized in blue fish dishes, so we ordered three different types of fish dishes to try something new. Looking at the dinner menu, it seemed like they were promoting mackerel, but my colleague changed her mind and went for the fried horse mackerel set that was going around. The dish featured a large, fresh horse mackerel with a light and fluffy texture, no fishy smell, and plenty of tartar sauce. The side dishes included blue fish sashimi and grated yam soup, and although we didn't get seconds, the rice and miso soup were free for refills. It was delicious. By the time we left, the restaurant was full. I would like to come back for dinner next time. Thank you for the meal.

Today I had lunch with a client at a nearby restaurant that offers a delicious set meal. The "Fatty Mackerel with Seaweed Salt Charcoal Grill Set Meal" costs 1,200 yen including tax and comes with three types of sashimi including Spanish mackerel, horse mackerel, and flounder. The mackerel is rich in flavor but not too heavy, and the size is generous but easy to finish. The miso soup is also flavorful and delicious. You can get free refills of rice and miso soup, so even if you're really hungry, you can rest assured. Overall, it was a flawless set meal, thank you for the meal!

I used this restaurant for a year-end party with my usual group of friends. The restaurant was lively, but they were able to provide us with a semi-private seating area, so we could enjoy a wonderful time without feeling too noisy. We ordered various dishes like hot pot and fried foods, but the fried horse mackerel was the most delicious. Whenever we called the staff for additional orders, they came quickly and provided great service. Overall, we were very satisfied.

On a typical day at 12 o'clock, about half of the seats in the restaurant were filled. The popular dish, fried horse mackerel, was already sold out due to my late lunch timing. I tried a variety of other menu items, and they were all delicious. The mixed fry was surprisingly tasty. However, I still wanted to try the fried horse mackerel, so I made sure to arrive at the restaurant at 12 o'clock as advised by the staff. I ordered the limited quantity fried horse mackerel set for 1300 yen. The freshly fried horse mackerel was so delicious! It had a rich flavor, no fishy smell, and the meat was firm yet not dry. It was truly amazing! The crispy coating was perfect, and the oil was well-drained. The tartar sauce was also tasty, and I was pleased with the generous amount of shredded cabbage served. The rice was particularly delicious today. I usually get a rice refill, but I was satisfied without it today due to the early lunch. The sashimi was fresh and always delicious, and I appreciated the addition of grated yam. The miso soup was also delicious and had a flavorful broth with a hint of koji. It's my favorite miso soup among the lunch options in the area. Finally, I was glad I finally got to try the fried horse mackerel, and it was definitely worth it. I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied.

Lunch refugee... again. While wandering around Miyamasaka, I found a direct sales store specializing in fresh blue fish!!! Today, let's go here. I really wanted to eat fried horse mackerel, but they were sold out... so I tried the "fatty mackerel" instead. Grilled over charcoal with seaweed salt... Even though I don't like the skin, the charcoal aroma makes it edible~. Both the mackerel and rice are so delicious x2. The side sashimi was also delicious, and the miso soup was tasty too. Ahh, I really want to eat fried horse mackerel. Revenge is a must.

Category: [Tokyo] I finally came to this izakaya at night after enjoying their delicious lunch when they first opened. Shibuya Mikuriya specializes in fresh local blue fish. Akabara sashimi for 1280 yen per serving, which can also be half turned into tataki. They serve a large yellowtail sashimi platter for 1280 yen each. It's like a palette of blue fish. I was with some people from a Vietnamese IT company that day, so I asked them a lot about unusual Vietnamese foods. Although a bit pricey, this restaurant sources quality ingredients. Smoking is allowed in private rooms other than the counter. Yuzawa-grown Hachiro Shiitake mushrooms for 380 yen each, and their number one dish is the grilled mackerel from Koshida Shoten for 1200 yen. After this, I was supposed to take photos of pasta, but for some reason, I couldn't find them. As an apology, I'll include more photos of the fortress.

I had the opportunity to have lunch in the morning after a long time, so I went for the fried horse mackerel. Despite it being in the morning, the place was almost full, but they still had fried horse mackerel available, so I ordered it. I thought it was convenient to be able to easily enjoy such a large and tender fried horse mackerel, but I couldn't help but wish it came with tartar sauce. Just like how fried chicken comes with tartar sauce, it would be even better if you could enjoy it with various flavors. If I have another chance for a morning lunch, I will definitely go back for the fried horse mackerel.

The limited specialty dish here is the fried horse mackerel, but when I arrived at 12:05 to try it, it was already sold out. I ended up ordering the grilled fatty mackerel with seaweed salt set meal for 1100 yen, which included rice, miso soup, a sashimi platter, grated yam, and pickled vegetables. The fatty mackerel was delicious, but the rice was clumpy and not fluffy. The miso soup was lukewarm and tasty, but the sashimi platter was disappointing with sinewy tuna. Overall, the restaurant had a classy ambiance, but the high expectations were not fully met.
