I will write a review after a long time. Exciting~. I will omit details since there are people here who are not reviewers (for more details, please refer to the reviewer page in the diary). I arranged to meet up with some friends after a few years and catch the last train to Nakano. It's a great way to start the summer vacation. When meeting friends after a long time, the conversation is sure to get lively, so we need to get into the restaurant quickly to start the girls' talk that will surely go on for a long time. However, even though I focus on Nakano reviews, I actually don't know any fancy places suitable for girls' talk. I always just eat skewers and drink alcohol. (Am I an old man?!) So, my friend, who has a much longer history with Nakano than me, took me to a recommended bar. That place was "unusual." It was located about a 5-minute walk from the station, tucked away in a quiet alley where I might have passed by if not for my friend. When I entered, it was so dark that I couldn't see anything inside at first... Once my eyes adjusted, it was a charmingly calm and dandy space. There were about 7 seats at the counter, creating a cozy atmosphere for a small group. There was one male bartender and a young assistant. When asked what to drink, I inquired about recommendations, and he suggested fruit cocktails. Fruit cocktails, you say? I remember there was a bar called Tondou near Arai Yakushi on Nakano Street that was known for its fruit cocktails... "Oh, that shop moved here. This is the same shop." Ah! Now that you mention it, I feel like I've seen the bartender's face before...! Indeed, the fruit cocktails were still made with plenty of fruit pulp and the acidity was highlighted, resulting in delicious cocktails. As expected. The orange cocktail and pineapple cocktail I had were delicious. Then, I was informed that there was a hamburger that is limited to 3 servings per day available today. Also, they had eggs, so they could make omurice as well. It was just a coincidence, but I couldn't resist ordering them. (Even though it was 3 am... sweat) Because women are weak creatures when it comes to words like "limited" or "only today"... The late-night limited menu, both were hearty and delicious. (I have no regrets! Because it was delicious! Tears) So, the fruit cocktails and meals change depending on the day's fruit and ingredients. (Of course, the classic liqueurs are always available too.) Especially, the prideful fruit cocktails are delicious. Among watermelon, pineapple, grapefruit, and orange, if you come across strawberries, be sure to try them. It may be a cocktail that you can only encounter once in a lifetime~.
