I usually order Springbank at bars, but for some reason, I couldn't find it lately. Instead, I tried a single malt called Glen Scotia from Campbeltown for the first time. They served popcorn as a complimentary snack. I also ordered mixed nuts and chocolate, and the chocolate was particularly delicious. I had about three drinks by myself, and it only cost me less than 5,000 yen, so I think it's a good value for the money. I suddenly noticed that besides our group of four, all the other customers were women. It seems like a place where you can feel comfortable and easy to enter. I would definitely like to visit again. After dinner, I met up with my colleagues for a second round at a different place. We went up the stairs to the second floor and entered through the door on the right side this time. The entrance on the other side looked like it had a completely different atmosphere from the outside. This side had a lively vibe. We ordered drinks like Gin Fizz, Martini, and Nicholasica. The Martini was on the sweeter side and was delicious, especially after a long day of walking. I would like to visit the other side if I have the chance, as it seemed more calm and peaceful. It may not be ideal for those looking for a quiet drink alone, but if you want to enjoy a drink in a lively atmosphere, this place is perfect. Prices are around ¥8,000 to ¥9,000 for two people, including cover charge and two drinks each. While they specialize in whiskey, they also offer a variety of classic cocktails like you'd find in a regular shot bar.

The variety of gin options and the sparkling atmosphere surrounded by these bottles were wonderful! Drinking at night is truly a wonderful thing. This is a bar that opens at 5:00 pm. I had 30 minutes to spare before meeting my friends, so even though it was early, I hurried over and had a refreshing mojito. Normally, I would have ordered whiskey, but I decided to go for something light this time since I was planning on drinking more later. The minty aroma of the mojito was delightful, and since there were no other customers at that early hour, I chatted with the bartender and learned a lot about different types of alcohol. Time flew by quickly, and before I knew it, it was time to meet my friends. It was a very enjoyable experience, and I look forward to coming back for some whiskey next time.

A relatively easy-going bar in a mixed-use building. The Tequila Tonic was really unique and sweet. I wonder what kind of tequila they use? I'd like to ask next time. The customers were diverse and the atmosphere was nice, but my companion dislikes smoking, so we left when people started smoking. I couldn't fully enjoy it, which was a shame. I'd like to go back alone.

I visited just before the request to refrain from going out was issued in Tokyo in mid-March. I visited after meeting a friend from my hometown who was on a business trip. We went to Isomaru Suisan in Shinjuku Nishiguchi. My friend had been there before. We had 2-3 glasses of whiskey. When I told the staff my preferences, they brought 2-3 similar whiskeys for me to choose from after enjoying the aroma. At first, we each ordered our favorite drinks. My friend had rum and I had Springbank, which I haven't seen around much lately. For the second round, my friend, who didn't have much experience with whiskey, wanted to try whiskey, so I recommended Bowmore, while I had Caol Ila. The bill didn't seem too high. It's good value for money. I would like to go back when the situation with the coronavirus calms down.

The second party was great. It was not too crowded, had a nice lively atmosphere. They had cocktails with fresh fruits, and the melon one was delicious. The cost performance was average. It's also conveniently located near the station.
