I went to Roppongi and visited Shake Shack for the first time in a while. It's been since I ate it in America. I ordered a Shack Stack and a Coke. I placed my order using a tablet menu. I could see when my order was ready on a dedicated terminal. In about 7 minutes, my burger and Coke were ready. It was a Japanese-style burger with croquette and patty. Inside the croquette, there was a rich cheese sauce and mushrooms, creating a rich flavor that I couldn't get enough of. The strong flavors of the cheese and white sauce complemented the patty and soft buns. The patty was coarsely ground, providing a unique texture. It's a relatively affordable gourmet burger place, so I would like to visit again.

When I went to Azabu-Juban Matsuri, I was surprised by the incredible crowd, as it was the first time in four years. Despite that, I ventured out around 4 pm and tried the delicious Ajitonteki Menchikatsu and Cheese Frankfurter at Suginosan in Azabu-Juban. The food stalls were great, offering steamed oysters, grilled oysters, Nagoya-style fried chicken, freshly fried curry bread, and more (I ate way too much!). I walked to Roppongi Hills, where I had Italian roast beef at Dalmat, and by chance, I saw Doraemon and his friends performing Bon dance. I really enjoyed the Azabu-Juban Matsuri! My stomach was already quite full, but since I hadn't taken a proper rest from all the eating and walking, on the way back, I stopped by Shake Shack and shared a single Shackburger and a large Cheese Fries with my husband. We both agreed that the Cheese Fries are the best at Shake Shack. The crispy, fluffy, hot potato fries with gooey cheddar-like cheese sauce are irresistible. We only come to Shake Shack for these Cheese Fries. By the way, the Shake Shack in Roppongi was extremely busy, likely due to the festival.

This year marks the 9th edition of the "Roppongi Gourmet Burger Grand Prix 2023," currently taking place from July 1st to August 31st. There are a total of 17 participating restaurants in the Roppongi area, with 22 different types of burgers entered into the competition. This particular restaurant has entered the "BBQ Shack Meister Burger (Double)" (1,518 yen). Without hesitation, I also ordered the "Cheese Fries" (460 yen) to go with it. When the burger arrived, it looked small at first, but it felt heavy when I picked it up. The crunchy fried onions and BBQ sauce really whetted my appetite, and I ended up feeling quite full. While the price may be a bit on the higher side, considering it's a burger restaurant rather than fast food, the quality and taste were worth it. It was disappointing that my favorite shake (black sesame) was sold out. I'll have to wait until next time.

Around 11:30, there were still plenty of seats available in the restaurant, but they quickly filled up. I had the Chicken Shack Fry and a small Fifty/Fifty drink. The chicken was really filling and satisfying! It looked just like the picture, despite me thinking it would get squished. The fries were crispy and delicious. The Fifty/Fifty drink, a mix of lemonade and tea, was refreshing with bits of fruit in it, making it easy to drink. However, the regular size is quite large, so it's a generous portion.

Personal review: I try to avoid franchise restaurants, but they were doing a gourmet burger competition in Roppongi and the BBQ burger simply looked too good to pass. The popular chain was packed and it took us about 10min to place our order, but luckily we were also able to grab a seat inside. The BBQ style burger with plenty of BBQ sauce felt really nostalgic. With a reasonable price range, loved this junky delight!

A New York-based hamburger specialty store with 13 locations nationwide. On weekends around 7:30 pm, the inside of the store was almost full, but the terrace was empty. There were many foreign customers. ☑︎ ShackBurger (Single) ¥979 - A representative burger of Shake Shack with beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and Shack sauce. The patty is juicy because it is mashed and cooked. The buns are also soft and delicious! The size was on the smaller side. ☑︎ Fries (Regular) ¥539 - The fries were crispy on the outside.

In front of Roppongi Hills, I came here to Shake Shack after hearing it was delicious. You can add an extra patty and make it a double, but this time I ordered the normal SHACK and vanilla Shake. The fries were indeed very delicious, with a fluffy texture and a good quality meat patty. The vanilla shake was not too sweet and easy to drink. The total bill was 2189 yen, which I personally found a bit on the expensive side. However, I think it's worth trying at least once. There were no disappointments in terms of taste.

I had a shocking experience eating a hamburger at the Ebisu store before. I was surprised by the taste of the authentic flavor. The total for the set without any discounts exceeded 2,000 yen, making it a luxurious choice. I wish they could at least offer a discount on drinks. While many reviews praise the good service, I personally experienced a lack of acknowledgment from a staff member on my way out. Maybe I just had bad luck? Overall, the food was undeniably delicious.

I had some business to attend to at Roppongi Hills that night, so I decided to grab a bite to eat beforehand. I ordered the Smoke Shack, Chicken Shack, Chicken Bites, and fries. The slightly sweet buns, beef patty, smoky bacon, and cheese in the burgers went really well together. The chicken was also surprisingly delicious. It had been a while since I enjoyed a meaty burger with beer at Shake Shack.

The avocado burger was delicious with crispy bacon inside. The regular burger had a nice lightness from the tomato, and the cheese on the fries was rich and tasty. In front of the Hills, there is a shop. I almost became a lunch refugee, but I managed to get in just in time. The terrace seats are still nice. However, there are many pigeons, so be careful. I remembered Shake Shack Roppongi, where I had a really delicious meal when I first visited at opening time, so I got excited and ordered. I ordered the ShackBurger and an Iced Tea (M). After placing my order and paying, I was given a buzzer and found a seat to wait for my order to be ready. The ShackBurger consists of a beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, Shack sauce, and is a classic hamburger. The bun was soft and fluffy, and the thickness of the burger allowed for a satisfying bite. It had pickles in it and tasted somewhat like a famous fast food hamburger chain. I felt like the taste was a bit different from what I remembered from the past. Maybe because I had visited many burger restaurants, including those in the top 100 on Tabelog, my expectations were a bit lower this time. It was nice to relax with the Iced Tea for a while.

After finishing shopping around 2 pm near Roppongi, I was wondering what to eat. I saw a hamburger place and decided to go in. I ordered the Smoke Shack burger and a sparkling mineral water. It was a satisfying lunch. However, as an older person, I found it difficult to read the small text on the menu. When I was ordering and had to bring the menu close to my face to see, the staff asked, "Are you looking for something?" It's just hard to see! I wish they would make the menu easier to read.

Despite it being April, the weather in Tokyo on Saturday was quite different from the previous day when summer-like temperatures were recorded. The temperature dropped by 6 degrees, and the cold north wind was blowing under the cloudy sky. Instead of enjoying lunch on the terrace of a certain store at Tokyo Midtown, I decided to visit this place for a meal next week when I have no plans on a holiday with good weather. I arrived at around 11:05 am, and after waiting for about 5 minutes in line, I was able to place my order. I ordered: - Smoke Shack/Double x2 - Fries (Regular) - Cheese Fries (Regular) - Hot Coffee - Chocolate Shake (Small) The total came to ¥5071. The Smoke Shack/Double had a nice balance of bacon with a slightly crispy texture. The Cherry Pepper had more acidity than spiciness. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, while the Cheese Fries had a perfect mix of American and Cheddar cheese. The coffee was smooth with a hint of bitterness, and the Chocolate Shake was sweet but a bit too much for me. Overall, I didn't feel as satisfied with the taste this time, but I would like to visit again to see if it was just a one-time thing. This location is convenient for me, so I will keep coming back.
