After watching a movie, I decided to grab a bite to eat. I was hesitant at first, but the pictures of the dishes on the menu caught my eye so I chose this place. The tables were stylish and I ordered the paella and hamburger, both of which were delicious! This restaurant inside Takashimaya at Tamagawa is definitely worth a visit. However, I was surprised by the bill... I wonder how the cost performance was??

Introduced by a friend, I visited this restaurant for the first time. I had high expectations as the reviews were great. When I entered, the smell of the food filled the air and the seating was spacious with a lovely interior. The dishes I ordered were: - White fish fritters with chili mayo sauce tacos - Seafood paella - Tomato cream pasta with red king crab and snow crab (changed to fresh tagliolini for an extra 275 yen) The tacos came out first. I thought fish tacos were unique, but they were delicious. The white fish was fluffy and sweet thanks to the fritters. It was the best dish I had this time. Next, the paella and pasta arrived at the same time. The flavors were good, but the problem was the temperature... lukewarm. Even with my sensitive tongue, I found the paella to be too cool despite being served on a hot plate. The restaurant didn't seem too busy, so I don't think the dishes had time to cool down while being brought to the table. It was disappointing as I had high hopes. The taste was good, so I hope they can improve on this aspect.

There is a hidden gem restaurant inside Takashimaya, with a salad soup bar and stylish seating. The circular sofa tables create a luxurious atmosphere. The salad bar offers a variety of fresh ingredients, and the seafood menu looked delicious too! Fashionable and you can eat fresh vegetables as much as you want!

I went to a seafood & grill restaurant on the 6th floor of the Mitsukoshi Building at Futako Tamagawa in March 2023. The atmosphere was stylish, like a family restaurant. Initially, we placed our order verbally and then used a tablet for additional orders. A Caesar salad wagon was brought to us, and the server explained as they made it, allowing us to grate as much cheese as we liked. The salad had a nice garlic flavor and was delicious. The seafood platter was luxurious, with shrimp, mussels, clams, crab, oysters, salmon, and avocado. The Escargot with butter was tasty, and the seafood paella, with shrimp, squid, mussels, and a flavorful seasoning, was also delicious. Overall, the food was decent and worth the price.

It was a family-friendly restaurant! The salad bar allows you to choose between one serving or unlimited servings, but it seems most cost-effective to get one serving and share it. I had curry and pasta, both were delicious with rich flavor. It's slightly more expensive than a family restaurant. If you have a Takashimaya card, they sometimes offer free drinks, so be sure to check!

I visited THE GALLEY SEAFOOD & GRILL by MIKASA KAIKAN, located a 2-minute walk from Futakotamagawa Station! This seafood restaurant on the 6th floor of Tamagawa Takashimaya SC South Wing is inspired by the American West Coast. It is operated by the long-established "Mikasa Kaikan" which has been around for nearly 100 years. The restaurant has about 100 seats including private and semi-private rooms! Highlights include lobsters viewed from the tank, robots that appear during serving, and a colorful deli & salad bar with over 20 varieties available at all times! The dishes I tried were: 'Shrimp Cocktail Sauce' for ¥990, 'The Galley's Classic Caesar Salad' for ¥1500, 'Surf & Turf' for ¥11400, 'Squid and Zucchini with Bottarga "Aglio Olio" Tagliolini' for ¥1650, and 'Caramel Pudding' for ¥545. The hospitality was great, and I look forward to visiting again for various occasions. Thank you for the delicious meal.

During this visit to Japan, it was the last meal with my wife. With only one week left until we return home, we had high hopes for the Western-style cuisine at Sanso Kaikan. However, it was a bit disappointing. My wife mentioned that the salad bar system had been significantly downgraded, with nothing particularly filling and the cost performance was quite poor. The taste was okay, but considering the price, there are much tastier options available. Above all, the empty restaurant hinted at the deteriorated system, making us hopeful for a potential improvement. Until then, we won't be revisiting.

During the six months that I didn't go back to Futako Tamagawa, a new store opened. This place used to be a slightly high-class VerteSpa. The new store is also operated by Mitsukasa Kaikan. This time, it has become a casual restaurant with a seafood-based salad bar and drink bar included. The lunch menu is based on Galey's deli & salad bar, with the option to add pasta and grilled dishes. We wanted to eat a lot of salad, so we went for the basic deli & salad bar for 1,780 yen. There was a robot at the entrance of the store, wearing an apron and looking cute. The lineup of the drink bar is also nice. The coffee is ground from beans, so it's delicious. All the vegetables at the salad bar are fresh. They are replenished or replaced in small amounts, so you can eat with peace of mind. Buffets can get dirty because many people use them, but they are managed properly and it feels good. They also have curry available. The bite-sized desserts are nice. The salad that Amin piled up. I'm excited because it's all my favorite things. Just a little curry as well. I indulged in desserts. The childhood dream ice cream~. The rich vanilla ice cream was delicious. Elizabeth, the floor staff, cleaned up the plates after we finished eating (laughs). The customers around me were ordering in addition to the salad bar, but I was full with just the salad bar. Above all, the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff made the dining experience very pleasant.

I went for lunch after a long time and was surprised to find a lunch set for less than 3000 yen. The salad bar was more extensive than before, making it feel like a better deal. It was delicious. They also have thorough measures in place for COVID-19 prevention, so I felt safe and could relax.

I've been skipping reviews for a while, but this time I visited a restaurant operated by Mikasa Kaikan at Tamagawa Takashimaya for tea time. I used a great deal with a reservation through the GoTo system. Here is the content: Payment is cash only. ◆【THE GALLEY's TEATIME】(14:00-17:00 only) Waffles, fruits, tea sweets, and a drink bar for 1,320 yen (tax included) ■Food - Freshly baked waffles (2 types) - Assorted fruits (4 types) - Soft serve ice cream - Tea sweets ■Drinks - Coffee, tea, and over 10 soft drinks at the drink bar The spacious interior of the restaurant is divided between tea time buffet users and other customers. Next to me were solo diners, with partitions for safety measures. The male staff members, all from Mikasa Kaikan, provided polite and pleasant service. They explained the tablet ordering system first. You can order additional waffles as much as you like. They bring a plate of 4 types of fruits to your table. Other items like glass desserts, soft serve ice cream, and drinks are self-service. The waffles come in 2 varieties with maple syrup and chocolate sauce. The glass desserts include 4 types, and the muscat and almond tofu that came later was the most delicious. There is also cranberry sherbet and soft serve ice cream, which you can serve yourself. I managed to swirl the soft serve ice cream on my own quite well, which was fun, and I did it twice. I want to do it again! I recommend putting the soft serve on top of the waffle or mixing it with the coffee jelly. The chocolate and soft serve in the photo did not go well together at all. The fresh herb tea, which had a note of +300 yen, was provided in a pot for free. You can blend your favorite herbs like lemongrass, lemon balm, mint, edible flowers, and bay leaf. I chose to have only the herb tea. The other drinks were similar to what you find at family restaurants, so I didn't feel the need to have them here. Honestly, the taste and quality were not that great overall, with a mix of good and bad points. The frozen lychee was watery and mushy, making me wonder how it was thawed. It seems that improving the quality of each item rather than having a wide selection would leave a better impression, especially since the clientele in this area are discerning. For example, reducing the number of fruits and drinks to improve their quality. Skip the toppings for the ice cream. Make the waffles fluffier. However, the service was good, and it's a plus that you can make a reservation for one person in a restaurant where most places require a reservation for two or more. I earned points with the GoTo system, so overall, I am satisfied.

On this day, I went to a restaurant in Futakotamagawa with my work colleagues to have lunch and hold a meeting. We chose a casual place where we could eat pasta, and entered the restaurant located in Takashimaya South Wing. In this restaurant, we placed our orders using iPads. Surprisingly, we could also choose our favorite vegetables for the salad bar using an iPad. The dishes were brought to us by robots. It seemed like an idea to reduce contact with people during the COVID-19 pandemic, making it a futuristic restaurant. I ordered the clam and shrimp paella and the lobster pasta. Although the lobster pasta was a bit pricey, I decided to try it since it was their specialty. The lobster pasta had a large lobster in it, and the lobster flavor mixed well with the pasta sauce, spreading throughout my mouth. The paella was also delicious with a perfect seasoning and a seafood flavor. I really liked the salad bar where I could choose from a variety of vegetables and fruits using an iPad and could order as many times as I wanted. The dressings were served in test tube-like containers, and three different dressings were brought with the salad. It was a healthy option to eat a lot of salad. I ate until I was full. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

When going to lunch with the kids, we were surprised to be served by a robot waiter! The children were thrilled. After bringing our food, the robot would leave after we patted its head. I wonder if more restaurants like this will pop up in the future. Having a drink bar and a salad bar (which I found to be well-stocked) is great for families with kids.

A new seafood restaurant has opened in Futako Tamagawa, inside Takashimaya. It was not crowded when I visited during lunchtime on a weekday, slightly off peak hours. You must order a main dish, which comes with a salad & fruit buffet and a drink bar. Orders are placed through a tablet. You can choose vegetables and fruits from the salad bar, and an AI robot will bring them to you. The main dishes are all priced around 3000 yen, which may seem a bit expensive, but considering the inclusion of salad, fruits, and soft serve ice cream, it might be a good deal. The lobster dishes are also pricey but look delicious.

I thought the restaurant with the name "Mikasa Kaikan" would be more conservative, but I was drawn in by the large number of lobsters in the entrance tank and ended up going in by accident. There were no menus at the entrance, so I didn't know the prices until I sat down. The menu is on a tablet. I understood that the main course comes with a salad bar and a drink bar after receiving an explanation. You can choose your salad from the tablet and a robot will bring it to you. You have to get your own drinks. There's also soft-serve ice cream. Once you understand the system, it's a really user-friendly restaurant. And the atmosphere is nice. I had the lobster spaghetti as my main course, which was just the right price, around 3500 yen. There were more expensive options like grilled lobster for 5000 yen. I think they have good infection prevention measures in place. It would be even better if the robot could bring the drinks too. However, it was funny to see the robot saying to the human staff, "Excuse me, but I am in a hurry, so please give way." The era of robots giving orders to humans is getting closer.

*Waiting time* Before 12:00 on holidays, none *Order & amount* Lobster pasta, seafood paella *Atmosphere of the restaurant* The seats are spacious and the atmosphere is calm. It feels like you've stepped into America. There is a large canoe sculpture on the ceiling, creating a surreal space that I liked. *Service* The service was very polite and pleasant. They provided vinyl bags for masks and disinfectant spray, so their COVID-19 measures are top-notch. *Impressions* Despite the relatively high prices, I still want to go back because of the exciting theme park-like atmosphere, excellent service, the fun of having a robot bring the salad bar, and the soft-serve ice cream machine (with chocolate spray). The robot was polite and cute. If you pat its forehead, it will leave. The salad bar had a wide variety, and the squid was particularly delicious. The dressings were served in test tubes, which was an interesting touch. The basil cheese dressing was especially tasty. *Hopes for the future* When I'm exhausted from the stress of the city, I want to go back and be healed again.

We went with a 1.5-year-old child. We sat on a round sofa where there were kids' chairs and space for a stroller. It was a great seat as we could easily entertain our child. It was a weekend lunch and there were many families with children. The atmosphere was stylish but child-friendly. The salad bar had steamed sweet potatoes and corn, which our child enjoyed. The adult menu was also good. We would love to go back again.

On our anniversary, we were able to get a window seat for lunch as we had hoped. The staff were all very friendly. We enjoyed the main dishes like lobster and beef, as well as the salad bar, curry, tacos, and desserts. It was a delightful experience. Lastly, we were surprised with a lovely message plate for our celebration, making it a wonderful time. ☕️✨

Group reservation for daytime use required a vaccine certificate, but it was not requested upon arrival. The buffet had a limited selection and the free drinks were similar to a family restaurant. It didn't feel like the Sanso Kaikan. The self-made waffles were hard. The individually ordered dishes seemed more elaborate and expensive. The uniqueness of robots serving food may not appeal to everyone. After eating, a robot came to collect empty dishes, cups, and cutlery placed by customers. The staff were supportive and provided good service, but overall, the atmosphere felt like a slightly more expensive restaurant. There were many young children, making it lively.

I used to go to Verte Spa before the renovation, and since it is still managed by Mitsukasa Kaikan, I had high expectations and visited right after the grand opening. The menu included a salad, bread, and free drinks with each main dish, so my friend and I ordered four items (paella, lobster, grilled chicken, and one other dish) without really knowing what to expect. Particularly the lobster was disappointing, as all the dishes lacked flavor and were small in portion size. The salad had unlimited refills, but we didn't feel like getting more. Each dish was in the 3000 yen range, which was not worth it at all. The only interesting thing was the robots delivering the food, which reminded me of modern China, although I have never been there.
