At the roadside shop, when I first visited, there were over 20 people lined up at the entrance. It was too long of a wait, so I gave up. This time, at 2 pm, it was a late time, so there were only two groups waiting. Lucky! I got a seat by the window this time! Even luckier!! The interior of the shop, with plenty of wood, has a bright and open atmosphere. The customers inside were a wide range of ages and genders. Families with preschoolers were relatively high. There is only one toilet on the second floor, and the only way to get there is by stairs. There is an all-you-can-eat bread and salad bar. You can choose from 5 types of bread. The staff fills a basket with bread and circulates around the tables. The only accompaniment is butter. Personally, I liked the fig bread. I also ordered the following items: - Kids Plate (Hamburger & Omurice) - Melty Cheese Hamburger Steak - Autumn Special Assortment - Italian Vegetable Fritto - Minestrone - Corn Soup The Kids Plate was the same size as the adult plate and had delicious hamburger and omurice. And all this for only 500 yen! The Kids Plate can only be ordered for preschoolers. I felt like I understood why there were so many families with preschoolers. The melty cheese hamburger steak was highly praised by picky eaters. Juicy and elegant. The Autumn Special Assortment had a generous serving of the following: - Oyster Gratin - Demi-Glace Sauce Hamburger - Chicken Saute It tasted like the flavors of a specialized Western food restaurant. I want to visit again.

I felt like having freshly baked bread, so I headed to Kobe-ya Restaurant. Since I recently moved, the nearest location for me is the Ashika Park branch. I ordered a seafood gratin with plenty of ingredients - sea bream, shrimp, squid, mussels, red king crab, and macaroni. It was a hot and hearty gratin. The bread was also delicious, with a hint of sweetness from eggs, honey, and butter in the Kobe-ya Special, and a moist texture with the sweetness of raisins in the Raisin Bread. For dessert, I enjoyed their homemade coffee jelly. My companion had the hamburger steak & shrimp gratin and a mini fruit parfait. When you're craving bread, Kobe-ya Restaurant is the place to go for their delicious homemade bread buffet. If you order the bread set, you can enjoy a variety of popular normal breads one after another. The coffee is also delicious with a deep roast flavor.

Today's review is from Neko Oku-san Presents! (I have only visited twice about 10 years ago) I decided to have lunch with some friends somewhere nearby. Since we were all going by bicycle, we made a reservation at this restaurant, which is at a midpoint. We met up at 11:45. Previously, the parking lot was always full of cars and bicycles, but today it was empty. For lunch, there were options like hamburgers, today's meat dish, and fish dishes. And of course, Kobe-ya is known for its all-you-can-eat bread. I chose a set with coffee. One of us ordered the sautéed sea bream, another chose the meat dish. I started with two pieces of bread. I first took a raisin and walnut bread. The sautéed sea bream was light and delicious. Then I took a fig bread. All the bread was delicious! And the coffee. I forgot to take a picture, even though I had a refill. Also, I always forget to take pictures of the menu and storefront as requested by my friend, and today was no exception (laughs). The total came to 2167 yen. Thank you for the meal!

I wanted to go to Kobe-ya Restaurant since around July, and I finally went. I went alone to Kobe-ya Restaurant. When I entered the store, they were selling delicious bread, cakes, and side dishes for takeout. They even sold bread by the loaf. I didn't buy a loaf because I couldn't finish it by myself. There were many customers taking out food. I used the restaurant for dinner, and even though it was crowded, I didn't have to wait and was able to use a table for four. The staff at Kobe-ya Restaurant were bright and cheerful, but had a somewhat brisk and no-nonsense attitude. I have had experience in customer service before, so I understood that this was the type of service they provided. I ordered the Special Assorted Seafood dish, and it was delicious. The salad bar was fun, but I almost went to get more thinking it was all-you-can-eat. The freshly baked bread was indeed delicious. When asked if I wanted some cold bread that had been sitting out, I tried it and found it to be cold and hard. The next day, I googled the Kobe-ya Restaurant menu and found that the price for what I had ordered was different from what I had seen the day before. I was very curious and ended up researching the company extensively.

In July, on the last Sunday, I had my 6th driving practice session and made my debut on the Kandai Highway. It had been about 8 years since my spirit was broken when I couldn't figure out how to exit the parking lot at Jonathan's in Yahatayama (now Gusto)… 8 years since then!?! Today, I drove on the Kandai Highway and returned, but unfortunately, the exit of the Kobe-ya parking lot did not face the Kandai Highway directly, so I was not able to overcome that challenge. Today is an inauspicious day, and I usually avoid driving on such days, but there may come a day when I have to drive even on an inauspicious day. Last week, I couldn't practice, so I drove this week, but it's still an inauspicious day. The family member accompanying me kept screaming, making me dislike driving. I should have just stopped. Well, there are days like this too. My health is not great, and the calendar is not favorable. But that doesn't mean I should do nothing; the day is too precious to waste. Even if things are tough, I shouldn't force it. Let's keep practicing. I have a strong desire to drive to Tateyama. Why do I always end up ordering pasta in situations like this? I need to stop. The hamburger with demi-glace sauce and salad were okay, but I prefer crispy bacon over ham, and the onions were a bit spicy. The coffee jelly with melted mango shaved ice was my favorite today. Originally, it was like this. I was waiting facing the Kandai Highway. It was hot. On days when I practice driving, I always wear my emerald green Lululemon tights for safety. My bag is always green. It's not that I particularly like green, but if you see this, you'd think I do. The chocolate bread and English bread were sliced into 6 pieces. I don't usually eat sweet bread, but occasionally, it's delicious. Kobe-ya Restaurant Ashikakoen Branch 03-3483-0551 Setagaya-ku, Funabashi 4-43-7.

The bakery is a popular restaurant that catches your eye when driving by. They sell freshly baked bread at the entrance. We ordered the seasonal limited menu items, which were both delicious. The Oyster and Sea Bream oven-baked dish was thinner than expected, lacking thickness, while the 3 types special assortment had a good amount of volume. Being a bakery, their bread is of course delicious. They continuously serve freshly baked bread one after another. There are many types of bread, and I wanted to try them all, but unfortunately, I had to give up halfway. The staff kept refilling our coffee, which made us feel happy and nostalgic. The staff seemed to be insufficient as they couldn't keep up with clearing tables, but the service was good and pleasant. I would like to visit this place again. The fact that there is a restroom on the 2nd floor and a parking lot is also attractive.

This bakery restaurant with a dome-shaped roof along the Kanna Avenue is a landmark. You can buy bread, and also dine in the restaurant! I don't remember the names of the dishes, but the pasta was delicious. - Shrimp cream pasta - Freshly baked bread The interior of the store is spacious and luxurious, like a family restaurant! Of course, the bread is delicious, so I would like to try their breakfast next time☆

Kobe-ya, located along the Kanna Highway, is a restaurant-style bakery that also offers take-out bread and pastries. Even around 9 pm on a weekday, they still had a variety of breads in their showcase. One of their offerings is the Salted Butter Roll priced at 150 yen (excluding tax). Despite being a standard size, it may seem a bit pricey. However, it was still fluffy and soft, with a generous amount of butter and salt in the middle. The taste and texture of the roll were both quite enjoyable.

I visited this place for the first time in about 10 years. On Sunday afternoon, it was bustling with families. If you want to relax and have a meal on the window-side sofa seats, it seems better to make a reservation in advance. The staff brings freshly baked bread to each table frequently. I was surprised that the bread made from rice flour was very delicious. It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. There were various types of bread such as orange bread, milk bread, and tangy German bread. Just the salad bar and all-you-can-eat bread alone would be quite satisfying. The drink set only had coffee or tea. Personally, I am not a fan of caffeine, so I would be happy if there were more drink options! Lunches like this with all-you-can-eat bread and salad bar tend to be at restaurants or hotels in the city, so it was nice to be able to casually go nearby.

"I want to eat delicious beef stew and freshly baked bread." Kobe-ya Restaurant fulfills that desire, especially the Ashika Park branch. It's not cheap, though. My wife and I had beef stew and bread, plus dessert, and it cost us 5,000 yen. But we were satisfied. The interior of the restaurant is stylish and has a sense of luxury. The space is also open, which is nice. Since it's Kobe-ya, the bread is delicious. They keep bringing more in a basket, so you can eat endlessly. All the bread is tasty. The beef stew has a rich flavor, with the beef broth and the sweetness of the vegetables standing out. It's especially good when eaten with the bread. It feels like there's no end to the delicious food."

I use this restaurant every few years, but overall it's a bit on the expensive side. The new uniform caught my attention this time - a blue and white striped apron that reminded me of AnMira. The design is definitely something older gentlemen would like. Not bad (laughs). The special sets for hamburger and sirloin steak, as well as for hamburger and shrimp gratin, both come with unlimited bread and a salad bar. The salad bar alone costs a little over 800 yen - is it worth it? It seems good if you just want to eat a lot of greens. The beef stew as a standalone dish costs over 9000 yen. The hamburger and sirloin steak are about 150g each, while the hamburger in the hamburger and shrimp gratin set is about 100g. Especially the hamburger in the hamburger and shrimp gratin set is surprisingly small (smaller than what you would expect for a set meal). Also, maybe it was bad timing (entered on a Sunday at 12pm), but there was no "freshly baked bread" at all. The bread is indeed delicious, but I really wanted to have freshly baked warm bread. My girlfriend wanted to eat freshly baked raw bread, while I wanted freshly baked French bread (crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside). Also, perhaps due to the location, there were surprisingly many families with children in the restaurant, despite the high prices. I was a bit surprised to see so many families with children under elementary school age. I don't mind that children are noisy, but it didn't quite match the atmosphere of a restaurant where you pay this much. Apart from the delicious unlimited bread, I wasn't very interested in anything else.

Special set for 1400 yen excluding tax includes a salad bar, bread, drink. The bread is served, but you have to request toast. It's a pleasant space to enjoy your meal. It tends to clear out around 2 pm, so it's a good time to avoid the lunch rush. The salad bar includes fruits and jelly. There is probably a variety of drinks available. The staff, all Japanese, are working to improve the quality.

A suburban store in Setagaya Ward that feels very relaxed. It has a quite cozy atmosphere. However, if you are dining alone, it may feel a bit lonely as there are many families dining in the restaurant.

Kobe Bakery offered all-you-can-eat bread where they bring you the bread you want when it's ready. You could also choose a main dish and add a salad buffet. The main dishes included meat and fish. The salad buffet was normal with fruits available.

The pasta and bread buffet for around 1700 yen was tempting, so I couldn't resist pairing it with white wine and coffee after the meal. Spending 3000 yen for lunch alone felt a bit pricey! The bread, especially the Kobe-ya Special with honey, grape, and fig bread, was delicious. The bread was all really tasty, with plenty of grapes and figs. The bean bread my family had was also full of ingredients. The bread was slightly warm and just like the ones sold in the store, making it a perfect way to enjoy the deliciousness of Kobe-ya's bread. I definitely plan to buy some on my way out. However, the main pasta dish honestly wasn't worth the 1700 yen price tag; it felt more like a 1000 yen dish. It was at the level of a regular family restaurant like Coco's, or even a bit below Royal Host. The coffee, with free refills and a great taste that paired well with the bread, was a good deal at 400 yen. The 500 yen wine was also refreshing and tasty. So, I think it's best to just go for the bread and coffee, or maybe just order an appetizer if you're having lunch here. There were a lot of families with young children, so I would appreciate it if they could lower the prices a bit. But I'll definitely come back for the bread and coffee.
