"Open until 4 am! Exquisite Italian cuisine created by Japanese and Italian chefs" Italian Bar Romano, Foodlog: 3.07 ¥5,000~ Azabu-Juban @romano_azabujuban Located about a 4-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station, this restaurant's features are: 1. All dishes served are exquisite Italian bar dishes created by Japanese and Italian chefs, catering to Japanese tastes. 2. Many dishes featuring truffles, such as the most popular truffle cream pasta and truffle omelet, generously topped with truffles and incredibly delicious. 3. Open until 4 am! (Course meals available until 9 pm last order) There are few restaurants that stay open until morning like this, making it very convenient. The glass of wine is quite generous, and both white and red wines pair very well with the dishes. The course meal starts with a platter of 5 assorted appetizers, which was immediately impressive in flavor and presentation. It's great to find such a nice restaurant and I'm happy. Highly recommended for a date night.【Course details】(¥10,000) - Romano assorted appetizers (5 types) - Potato salad, roasted chestnut pate, burrata cheese, caprese, prosciutto and salami, octopus carpaccio - Sauteed cod milt with plenty of karasumi (bottarga) - Exquisite truffle omelet - Today's fritto - Truffle cream pasta - Wagyu sirloin tagliata with Aomori garlic chips - Tarama Island black sugar panna cotta"

[Date] Visited on a weekday at 5 pm as a party of one. [Reservation] Made an online reservation. It's so convenient that you can make same-day reservations for one person online - personally, I'm thrilled! [Location] A 5-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station. The restaurant is located in a quiet residential area slightly away from the dining district. [Interior] Counter and tables. The tables are on the smaller side, so it's recommended for small groups. [Order] Toasted with homemade lemonade! The lemon flavor is strong and delicious. It has a gentle sweetness that would go well with the meal. They have a wide variety of glass wines, making it easy to drop by for a casual drink. The soft drink selection is also appealing, so anyone can enjoy it with friends. This time, I chose the chef's course, but they also offer a la carte options, making it suitable for various occasions like the first or second stop of the night. The course included: - Marinated sea bream and fruit tomato: The sea bream is thickly cut yet moist and tender, with a prominent olive oil aroma. - Fried egg and bottarga: The half-cooked egg yolk and bottarga saltiness complement each other perfectly. It would go well with white wine! - Vegetable fritto: Corn, zucchini, sweet potato. The corn is a variety called "Kuni no Kimi" and its sweetness stands out. The zucchini and sweet potato are thickly cut, allowing you to enjoy the true deliciousness of the vegetables. - White asparagus gratin: Topped with plenty of summer truffles. It has a firm texture, similar to chawanmushi. With plenty of asparagus, it's a perfect accompaniment to wine. - Octopus in tomato sauce ragout: Pasta in the shape of an earlobe with cuttlefish ink kneaded in. It's delicious with the rich tomato sauce. - Roasted duck breast with blood orange sauce: Refreshing and crispy. The outside is crispy and fragrant, with more umami coming out as you chew. - Tiramisu: A favorite! Plenty of cream with coffee-soaked sponge. It was a feast! [Service] The staff were friendly and accommodating. [Final thoughts] A hidden gem for adults. Highly recommend both the course menu and the bar!

[Tokyo: Azabu-Juban / Italian bar ROMANO] "Italian Bar Romano" offers Italian cuisine tailored to Japanese tastes created by a Japanese chef and an Italian chef. It's a hidden gem of a stylish Italian bar that you'd want to keep a secret! The interior of the restaurant is also very cute. [Order] -------------------------------- *ROMANO Recommended Course 7 dishes for ¥10,000 -------------------------------- ◆Appetizer - Carpaccio of wild sea bream with fruit tomato Starting with carpaccio. The sweet fruit tomato is delicious! Goes well with white wine. ◆Hot dish - Bottarga and fried egg My favorite! The generous amount of bottarga on the beautiful fried egg is irresistible. I even made sure to finish all the remaining bottarga on the plate. (laughs) - Fried spring vegetables On this day, zucchini, sweet potato, Aomori corn, and two types of paprika. The super crispy coating was amazing! The simple yet impressive dish highlighted the umami of the vegetables. - White asparagus gratin with summer truffle sprinkles Plenty of French truffles! The good smell emanating when it was brought to the table was exciting. Surprisingly, it was not made with bechamel but with egg? gratin, which was surprisingly light. ◆Pasta - Water octopus Bolognese with squid ink Orecchiette Orecchiette meaning "earlobe." It's been a while since I've had this! The squid ink incorporated into the pasta was pitch black. It was chewy and coated well with the sauce, a truly Italian dish. ◆Main dish - Roasted Aomori duck breast with blood orange sauce I was most happy that the main dish was duck! The "Kimi from the village" sweet corn used in the fried dish, which I love, was a great side. It was nice to see lots of seasonal corn in the kitchen, and I was happy because I love corn so much! ◆Dessert - Tiramisu The homemade tiramisu was refreshingly light with just the right amount of sweetness. A great way to end the course. They are open until 4:00 a.m., making it a great spot for a second round or a late-night meal! An elegant Italian bar open until late in this location is the best, isn't it? Moreover, the food is authentic. However, it seems to be almost fully booked even around 2:00 a.m., so it might be better to make a reservation! The waitstaff is very efficient, and the chef in the kitchen was a wonderful person. Even though it was just a few minutes of interaction when we exchanged greetings at the end, I instantly became a fan. It was great to encounter such a wonderful restaurant again.

There is a lovely restaurant & bar located on the first floor of a building about a 5-minute walk from Mabashi-Juichome Station. It has 2 table seats and counter seats, creating a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. I made a reservation for a 10,000 yen course meal. The course includes: Appetizer: Marinated sea bream and fruit tomato Warm dish: White asparagus gratin with summer truffle, topped with fried egg and karasumi Pasta: Octopus tomato sauce ragout with squid ink orecchiette Main dish: Roasted duck breast with blood orange sauce Dessert: Tiramisu We started with a Blood Orange Sour for a toast, followed by a Kettmeier Sauvignon Blanc which was a nice and easy-to-drink white wine. Each dish in the course was delicious, with highlights including the refreshing sea bream and fruit tomato marinated appetizer, the delectable fried vegetables, and the luxurious white asparagus gratin with summer truffle. The pasta with squid ink and octopus was also very tasty, and the roasted duck breast with blood orange sauce was flavorful. The tiramisu dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, the course meal was delicious and I would definitely recommend this Italian restaurant for its great food and inviting atmosphere.

I was taken to a friend's favorite restaurant where everything tasted delicious! When choosing pasta, I couldn't decide between my two favorites, Karasumi and Truffle, so I was advised to order both. They kindly served each on separate plates. The Karasumi and Negi oil-based Truffle cream were both so delicious that ordering both was the right choice. The handsome waiter's service was also bright and pleasant. As expected in Azabu-Juban. I only took a picture of this, but the wine and meat were also delicious. I was so full from my trip that I couldn't eat much, so I'll definitely go back to try other dishes.

The restaurant was small, with tables for two and a counter. The chairs were stylish with slightly long legs and no backrests. The focus seemed to be more on style than comfort. We ordered an appetizer platter, garlic shrimp, shirako, and pasta with leeks and firefly squid. Everything was fairly delicious - thank you for the meal.

It had been a while since I met up with my friend, so we decided to have a luxurious dinner together. Since I received a bonus, we agreed to try a nice place, and this is where we ended up. Located about a 5-minute walk from Azabu-Juban, a couple of blocks away from the busy restaurant area, we arrived right at the 5 p.m. opening time. We were the first ones there, but soon after, other customers started coming in. I noticed a few regulars, as well as some couples dining. The course we ordered was priced at 10,000 yen and included the following dishes: - Carpaccio of natural red snapper with fruit tomato: A refreshing dish perfect for summer. The sweetness of the fruit tomato paired well with the firm texture of the red snapper. The addition of Karasumi (bottarga) on the quail egg yolk was simple but incredibly delicious, making it a perfect adult appetizer that went well with drinks. - Asparagus gratin with summer truffle: Creamy gratin topped generously with summer truffle. The rich taste of the melted cheese and green asparagus was irresistibly delicious. - Summer vegetable fritto: Zucchini, young corn, paprika, and myoga deep-fried and served with salt and lemon for a refreshing taste. - Water octopus Bolognese with squid ink Orecchiette: Orecchiette pasta with a chewy texture in the shape of an earlobe. The rich Bolognese sauce coated the pasta generously, offering a flavorful tomato taste that paired perfectly with red wine. - Roasted Aomori duck breast with blood orange sauce: Thick slices of duck meat dipped in a sweet sauce and accompanied by vegetables. The duck meat was so delicious that I wished there were more than just three slices. - Tiramisu for dessert: A satisfying end to the meal, leaving us full and content. There was a variety of drinks available, and when we asked for recommendations, we were served the perfect wine. I opted for a non-alcoholic drink and was delighted with the homemade lemonade and blood orange juice, both of which were exquisite. The interior of the restaurant had a chic and adult ambiance, with a main counter. The chef prepared the dishes quietly with a gentle smile, while the female staff recommended drinks and dishes beautifully. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to understand why there were regular customers. Dining on delicious and luxurious food somehow didn't make us feel like going to a second place right away, which was also a good thing. We enjoyed the course for about 2 hours and 30 minutes, having a great time. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Exiting from Azabu-Juban Station Exit 1, you will find the quiet and stylish Italian restaurant "ROMANO Azabu-Juban" near the Nino Bridge intersection. I have to say, I really liked it from the start (laughs). The exterior exudes a nice atmosphere, and the interior has a chic sense that aligns with my taste. The restaurant has about 17 counter seats, with the L-shaped seats in the corner being perfect for a date (laughs). We tried the ROMANO Chef's Course (10,000 yen) this time. We started with a toast with Itinera Prosecco Brut. - Appetizer: Marinated natural sea bream and fruit tomato. A refreshing dressing with a tangy acidity, along with arugula salad and fresh sea bream. - Warm dish: Fried egg with bottarga. The fried egg came out surprisingly, but this is ROMANO, so it's not just a regular fried egg. Topped generously with bottarga, the saltiness elevates the fried egg. - Warm dish: Fried spring vegetables. Zucchini, snow peas, sweet young corn, eggplant, myoga, each fried perfectly. Sprinkle some lemon over the crispy fried vegetables. - Warm dish: White asparagus gratin. The aroma of summer truffles hits you as it arrives. The texture of white asparagus and the creamy egg make a gentle yet assertive combination. - Octopus tomato sauce ragout ★Ishi recommend. Orecchiette pasta with squid ink, a glamorous chewy texture, octopus's crunchiness, and the meaty ragout create a new harmony. It's quite flavorful but would pair well with red wine. I personally really liked it. - Roasted duck breast. The main course features slightly gamey duck meat. The acidity in the sauce comes from blood orange, which also helps eliminate any gaminess. - Tiramisu for dessert. The meal ends with an adult-flavored tiramisu. Overall, I was very satisfied. The portion sizes are not large, and the number of dishes is not overwhelming, but my stomach was full (laughs). The clientele is cute, as expected in Azabu-Juban (laughs), and the restaurant's creative yet not overdone dishes, cozy size, lighting, interior design, and warm hospitality all make it a perfect choice for a "date meal" (laughs).

I visited Romano, a hidden gem in Azabu Juban where adults gather, with some wine-loving friends. We requested seats at the chef's counter to communicate with the chef and enjoyed a new menu featuring carefully selected seasonal ingredients. We started with a refreshing dish of natural sea bream carpaccio with fruit tomatoes, paired perfectly with a Chardonnay. Next, we had the highly anticipated white asparagus gratin topped with summer truffles. The dish was a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness, showcasing the flavors of spring turning into summer. We then indulged in a visually appealing dish of fried spring vegetables followed by a sunny-side-up egg with bottarga. The highlight was the orecchiette pasta with cuttlefish ink in a tomato sauce with octopus, which paired wonderfully with Italian red wine. For the main course, we enjoyed French duck breast with the chef's special blood orange sauce. The evening at this hidden gem in Azabu Juban was filled with delicious food, great wine, and wonderful conversations. It was a lovely Italian dinner experience for adults. Thank you for the meal!

Located in Asakusa, this restaurant is a cute little house with a lovely exterior. I visited for dinner with a friend who loves Italian cuisine. The interior has a counter and small tables, with another counter in the back where you can watch the chef prepare the dishes. We opted for the 7-course, ¥10,000 menu that evening, toasting with Chardonnay. Here's what we enjoyed: - Marinated sea bream, light and refreshing. - White asparagus gratin with summer truffle, a cheesy omelette topped with juicy white asparagus. - Fried spring vegetables including brown mushrooms, snap peas, zucchini, young corn, and eggplant. The vegetables were juicy and delicious. - Fried egg with salted cod roe, an interesting dish with a great balance of flavors. - Octopus in tomato sauce ragout with ink orecchiette, paired with a red wine from Italy. - French duck breast with blood orange sauce, a chef's special sauce with a refreshing orange flavor that complemented the tender duck meat. - Tiramisu, a delicious dessert that we shared as we were quite full. The restaurant has a stylish atmosphere perfect for a date, but may not be ideal for lingering. Consider heading to a bar for a second round of drinks if you want to continue your conversation.

Opened in January 2022, this restaurant has been on my radar since day one! It's a cozy wine bar where you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine made by Italian chefs. They are open until 4 am, making it very convenient! You can opt for a full course meal to fully enjoy the experience or use it as a second stop for a la carte dining. It feels almost unfair how delicious the food is at the second stop! This time, we went for the course meal to indulge in a variety of dishes paired with carefully selected wines. The appetizer platter with 5 items was generous and delicious! From truffle omelette, truffle pasta, to truffle salt for the meat, the course was a luxurious truffle feast. The sautéed cod milt with karasumi, white fish fritter, beef tagliata, and panna cotta were all delicious as well. This restaurant seems to be beloved by locals as it is relatively busy at all times. It is recommended to call and confirm your reservation before visiting. Some people were turned away due to full reservations, so make sure to call even on the same day! Recommended for occasions like girls' night out, dates, or as a second stop. This is a highly recommended restaurant that I would definitely want to visit again! #repeat_kasumilog ◎ indicates definite repeat, ◎◎ means a must-try right away. ROMANO Recommended Course - 7 items for ¥10,000: - Romano Appetizer Platter with 5 items: Prosciutto and salami, Fukuoka's Amaou caprese, Homemade pate with mustard and apple compote, Potato salad with caviar, Aomori octopus carpaccio - Sautéed cod milt with plenty of karasumi - Exquisite truffle omelette - Today's fritter (white fish) - Truffle cream pasta - Wagyu sirloin tagliata with Aomori garlic chips - Tarama Island black sugar panna cotta Follow @kasumi_tkd for more high-end gourmet recommendations that I would love to revisit!

Located a 5-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station, this restaurant has a visit rating of 3.08. It is an authentic creative Italian bar! The ROMANO course (10,000 yen) includes appetizers such as marinated sea bream and fruit tomato, fried spring vegetables, and pasta with octopus tomato sauce ragout. The main dish is roasted duck breast with blood orange sauce, and dessert is tiramisu. This Italian restaurant, run by Japanese and Italian chefs, opened in Azabu-Juban in January 2022. I made a reservation on Tabelog about a week ago and opted for the dinner course this time, but they also have a wide range of à la carte options available, and it's great that they're open until 4 am. The menu lineup is rich, incorporating bistro elements, and the course consists of seasonal cold dishes, hot dishes, pasta, main dishes, and desserts. The white asparagus gratin with shaved summer truffles on top was especially delicious! The pasta with octopus tomato sauce ragout was a perfect match with the squid ink orecchiette, which had a chewy texture. The main dish of roasted duck breast with blood orange sauce was so tender that the knife cut through it easily, and the flavor of the duck was fully enjoyed. All the dishes were of high quality and delicious. The bright and atmospheric interior also felt convenient. Thank you for the feast. Definitely worth a visit! Review rating at the time: 3.08, Number of reviews at the time: 32.

An Italian-Japanese chef duo has created a restaurant that pursues Italian cuisine tailored to Japanese tastes. Located in a quiet corner of Azabu-Juban, this Italian bar impresses with its fluffy garlic-filled peperoncino pasta. The perfect al dente noodles combined with white wine and rich olive oil create a simple yet delicious dish. Other highlights include a potato salad with citrus and caviar, as well as fugu shirako sautéed with plenty of karasumi. The panna cotta made with black sugar from Taketomi Island, Okinawa, is beautifully rich and sweet, especially when enjoyed with a concentrated Nebbiolo wine. The restaurant's diverse wine selection, mainly featuring Italian wines, complements the carefully crafted dishes that can be enjoyed in a casual setting.

Truffle pasta restaurant that I wanted to try because it looked delicious. You can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine made by an Italian chef. The restaurant has a main counter in the middle and small table seats on the sides, which is a unique setup. Although the course menu doesn't have many dishes, the main meat dish is very generous and each dish has a strong flavor, so I ended up quite full. They are open late at night, so it seems convenient. Menu: ROMANO recommended course, 7 dishes for ¥10,000 - ROMANO appetizer assortment: 5 types, potato salad, caviar, caprese, octopus carpaccio, ham salami pate, ciabatta, Tasmania mustard, apple compote - Sauteed cod milt with plenty of karasumi - Delicious truffle omelette - Fried flounder - Truffle cream pasta - Japanese beef sirloin steak with Aomori garlic chips - Tarama Island black sugar panna cotta. A collaboration between a Japanese chef and an Italian chef resulted in the opening of Romano, an Italian restaurant located in Azabu-Juban last year. I tried the 10,000 yen course, and it was a great value for money at this hidden gem for adults in Azabu-Juban. The restaurant combines the best of both worlds beautifully. If I had to describe its charm in one word... it would be the amazing texture of the dishes that really stands out among the five senses! The fluffy ingredients are truly fluffy, and the creamy ones are really creamy. The truffle menu is luxurious, with options like omelette and pasta. As soon as the dishes arrived, the aroma of truffle filled the air, creating a delightful experience. The melt-in-your-mouth warm dishes were particularly outstanding. The fluffy omelette and rich pasta sauce were perfectly cooked and coated the pasta noodles beautifully. The combination of shirako (milt) and karasumi (bottarga) was a highlight, with the creamy shirako and flavorful karasumi creating a wonderful contrast. It was a menu that perfectly complemented wine. I have never been to Italy, so I don't know the authentic taste of Italian cuisine, but even so, I thought, "These dishes have such an impact that they make me crave wine!" I tried the Romano recommended course with 7 dishes for 10,000 yen, which included a variety of appetizers, sautéed cod milt with plenty of karasumi, exquisite truffle omelette, daily fried dish, truffle cream pasta, Aomori beef sirloin tagliata with garlic chips, and Tarama Island black sugar panna cotta. The restaurant is open from 17:00 to 04:00, and they offer a wide range of à la carte menu options, making it a popular spot for casual dining. I also mentioned in my stories yesterday that the waitress was very beautiful, with glowing skin that made me think she could be a celebrity or a model. ❤️

The restaurant has a cozy and compact interior, and the dishes are carefully prepared one by one. They offer a wide variety of wines, and it's great that they are open until 4 am in Azabu-Juban. It's located about a 4-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station. Many dishes use truffles, such as truffle cream pasta and truffle omelette, which were delicious with plenty of truffles. The main dish, wagyu sirloin, was tender with a great texture. The course menu for the day included a Roman appetizer platter, truffle omelette, truffle cream pasta, and wagyu sirloin. It was a delightful dining experience.

It was getting late at night, past 11:30... So we decided to meet up at a place where we could drink. We ended up at a place that was open until 4 in the morning, which was perfect for my friend who wanted wine. Despite the place being quite full with male groups, we managed to find a spot at the back of the counter. The space was a bit tight, especially since the restroom was located at the back, so we had to squeeze in a bit when other customers arrived. We started off with a toast of beer and sparkling wine, and then proceeded to order four glasses of red wine each. The menu included various appetizers such as a seasonal fruit caprese, octopus carpaccio, chef's selection of ham, pate with fruit and mustard, jumbo mushroom carpaccio with bacon, and oven-baked autumn mushroom and Genovese with cod. We enjoyed wiping up the remaining oil with bread and finished everything. Before we knew it, it was almost 3:30 in the morning, and we decided it was time to head home. However, my friend insisted on having one more glass of red wine, so we ordered another glass of Tenuta. The food was delicious, but the cozy atmosphere made us feel a bit awkward, especially sitting so close to the kitchen. The staff was very friendly, and it seemed like a popular spot for locals. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

Hidden gem Italian restaurant ROMANO Azabujuban, open until 4:00 am. Located a 5-minute walk from Azabujuban Station in a residential area. The exterior is a small white building with a beautifully lit sign. Inside, there is a small space with a bar counter in the front and a kitchen counter in the back, seating 17 people. They are open until 4:00 am, making it a great spot for a late-night meal. It's almost always full around 2:00 am, so making a reservation is recommended. All the dishes are delicious, but the truffle cream pasta is a must-try! The rich and flavorful cream sauce with the aroma of truffles is addictive. Recommended dishes include the truffle cream pasta, sautéed cod milt with arrabbiata sauce, amazing truffle omelet, and jumbo mushroom carpaccio.

ROMANO recommended course (¥10000): - Romano appetizer platter with 5 varieties (assorted ham and salami, special potato salad with caviar, Caprese with Amaou strawberries, octopus carpaccio, Romano pate with roasted chestnuts) - Sautéed cod milt - Delicious truffle omelette - Today's fries - Truffle cream pasta - Wagyu sirloin steak - Brown sugar panna cotta The appetizer platter was visually stunning, making it hard to decide where to start! The recommended Newton Chardonnay paired perfectly with the dishes. The amount of wine served was just right for savoring. Each dish was so delicious that it heightened expectations for the rest of the meal. The cod milt with plenty of karasumi was a satisfying combination. The omelette arrived with a wonderful truffle aroma and was fluffy with a generous amount of truffle. The pasta had a delicious cream sauce that made you want to savor every bite. The steak came with truffle salt and plenty of Aomori garlic, and was tender and flavorful. The portions were generous, and the course was a luxurious and satisfying experience. With both Japanese and Italian chefs, the authentic Italian cuisine served at this restaurant is tailored to Japanese tastes. Despite being busy with many customers, the staff were friendly, making it a very comfortable and stylish dining experience. Surprisingly, the restaurant is open until 4 am, making it convenient for late-night dining. I would love to visit again.
