Sometimes I get hungry during the day or late at night, but I don't feel like going out to eat. I'm tired of convenience store food. It's too much of a hassle to go out. In these situations, I prepare in advance. There is a business supermarket facing Kawaramachi Street. They sell small bento boxes at a reasonable price. In the evening, you can even find discounted items. Whenever I stay in Kyoto, I always stop by the business supermarket in the evening to buy a bento or some sake. I use it as a late-night snack or for breakfast the next day.
