On September 18th, I went to Bays Hachioji for lunch. While waiting for my friends, I started drinking first. I had a Pilsner Urquell beer from Czech Republic for 700 yen, which paired well with the crispy homemade potato chips. When everyone arrived, we ordered burgers and watched them being grilled. Finally, my Bacon Cheeseburger arrived, priced at 1,545 yen. The burger had lettuce, tomato, onion, and juicy bacon on a crispy bun. The patty was flavorful and I enjoyed it with a knife and fork due to its size. The accompanying fries were also delicious. We also had Teachers Highball from Scotland for 500 yen and Budweiser from America for 600 yen. We let the staff choose a mix of 4 sandwiches for us, which included ham and marble cheese, herb chicken cheese, spicy beef pastrami, and vegetable and organic carrot. All the sandwiches were delicious. I finished with another Teachers Highball. I would definitely visit this gourmet burger restaurant again when I'm in the area.

Unfortunately, the chili sauce burger I wanted was sold out, so I ordered the Cheese Jalapeno Burger instead. After a short wait, the burger and vegetables were served separately. I chose to assemble them together and enjoyed the juicy tomatoes and lettuce along with the cheddar cheese-wrapped patty. The tangy jalapeno and rich cheese flavors paired well together. I recommend sandwiching the ingredients together for a satisfying gourmet burger experience. The thick-cut fries were also tasty. It's a convenient place for solo diners and I was pleased to have found this great restaurant.
