I visited the main branch this time after visiting the annex last time. The restaurant is located on the 9th floor of a building on Namiki Street, making it more accessible to the general public compared to the annex. I had a meal with the head chef, Mr. Ooami. We started with taro tofu topped with crab meat, followed by a plate of sashimi including amberjack, golden eye snapper, gizzard shad, flounder, and tuna. There was also a rare beef sushi. Then we had an amuse-bouche with delicious foie gras. The next dish was grilled needlefish in paper, with a soup that was exceptionally tasty. It would have been nice to have some bread with it. For the main course, we had Yamagata beef today, with a choice of 60g fillet or 80g sirloin. I chose the fillet cooked medium rare. The meat was cut into bite-sized pieces and served on a plate, with buttered toast soaked in meat juices being particularly delicious. As a finishing touch, we had okonomiyaki, which surprisingly paired well with Australian Shiraz wine. The dessert plate included chocolate ganache, green apple glacé, and a mix of pear and grapes. We also enjoyed hojicha to cleanse the palate. Despite being a teppanyaki restaurant, Mr. Ooami's background in Japanese cuisine shone through in the presentation. This meal made me realize that teppanyaki is not just a traditional style, but a new form of Japanese cuisine in its own right.

I visited for lunch which also served as a business meeting. Although other restaurants were full, I decided to come here last minute, and it turned out to be a great value for delicious lunch! The recommended dish was okonomiyaki, but I ended up having the steak set meal, which came with appetizers and dessert. I was satisfied with the whole meal.

I arrived a little past the usual opening hours. Despite that, customers kept coming in, including those with reservations. I was seated at the counter for lunch. I ordered the okonomiyaki lunch set which came with soup and salad, all for 900 yen, a great deal! Everything was delicious. However, being at the counter made me a bit uncomfortable as it was close to other customers (who were in groups). I would like to come back with someone next time.

I had the hamburger course. The hamburger was Japanese-style and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm. The course included salad and I left feeling full. I had a 1 pm reservation, but the restaurant closes at 3 pm, so by the time the dessert from the course arrived, it was around 2:50 pm and I had to hurry a bit to leave the restaurant. It might be better to make a reservation for 12 pm to be able to eat more leisurely.

It was a casual teppanyaki restaurant where you could easily walk in. However, it was not the typical teppanyaki experience where they cook in front of you at the counter seats. The food was tasty for the price, and the service was not bad. We had a course menu for two at 16,000 yen, along with two drinks each and a bottle of wine for 56,000 yen. Considering the location in Ginza, we thought it was reasonable.

Visited on Saturday at 12:30 pm. There is a counter in the front and table seats in the back. The restaurant has large windows, creating a bright atmosphere. It was not crowded, but reservations are also possible. Ordered the Teppanyaki-style ginger pork for 1,000 yen. Soup and salad were served promptly. Both had generous portions, which was nice. The soup had a hint of ginger flavor. The ginger pork arrived while I was still eating. It was thinly sliced and tender, with plenty of onions, chives, and cabbage. The dish was topped with lots of finely chopped ginger. Although the rice portion seemed small, it was actually sufficient. However, I felt like I needed more rice to go with the ginger pork, so I adjusted as I ate. (I wasn't sure, but it seemed like you could ask for a refill). It was surprising to get such a meal for just a thousand yen in Ginza on a holiday. The disposable chopsticks didn't quite match the restaurant's atmosphere, which was a bit disappointing, but the service was polite and I was able to relax and enjoy my meal.

I chose the ¥6500 course. The appetizer was edamame tofu topped with sea urchin, and the firefly squid was fresh and delicious. The lotus root kimchi was also tasty with a sweet and spicy flavor. The fish had a crispy skin and the accompanying vegetables were delicious. The vegetables included steamed cabbage, bell pepper, shiitake mushrooms, lotus root, and yam? They were served with coarse salt, bagna cauda sauce, and miso. The miso was particularly delicious. The grilled vegetables were also tasty. The meat portion seemed small at 40g. Looking at the presentation, it seemed like the vegetables were the main focus with a minimal amount of meat, which was disappointing. However, the meat itself was very tasty, cooked medium rare. I saw in a review on Tabelog that the ¥5500 course had 80g of meat with 2 types, so I wondered if the price had increased. It was possible to add more grams of meat for an additional charge. For dessert, there was a gâteau au chocolat, strawberries, oranges, and shiso sorbet. The shiso sorbet was unique and I had to ask what flavor it was at first. It was delicious though. Thank you for the meal.

Located on the 9th floor of a building in Ginza 3-chome, Sakutsuki is a teppanyaki restaurant with a minimalistic decor but a luxurious atmosphere typical of Ginza. Reservations are required, and they offer a reasonably priced lunch course as well as several daily lunch options for 1000 yen (tax included). We shared the Special Pork Steak Lunch and the Homemade Wagyu Hamburger Steak Lunch, both priced at 1000 yen each. The salad, soup, main dish, and rice were all generous portions and delicious. The pork steak was tender and flavorful, while the hamburger steak was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The rice was particularly delicious, and refills were free. It's surprising to find such high-quality meals for just 1000 yen in Ginza.

A teppanyaki restaurant in Ginza. The lunch menu is very affordable. Located on the 9th floor of a mixed-use building. I ordered the tonkatsu lunch made with pork from Ibaraki for 1000 yen. It comes with salad and soup. The salad is generous and the dressing is delicious. The soup has a gentle, Japanese vegetable flavor. The tonkatsu is seasoned similar to Yonago tonkatsu, with a sauce that seems to be a mix of sauce and soy sauce. The pork is thickly sliced, with a good meaty aroma and tender texture. It has a bit of fat, which adds to the flavor. The potato salad on the side is a nice touch. The rice is also delicious. Overall, it's a cheap and tasty lunch spot.

I visited for lunch! I ordered tonkatsu and okonomiyaki, and the mayonnaise and sauce on the okonomiyaki matched the ingredients very well, it was delicious. The tonkatsu was thick, tender, and had a good portion size, and the taste was also very delicious. I will definitely go back!

Overall, there was no impact at all. The dishes lacked surprise and elegance from start to finish. It was puzzling why bread was served three times in one course. Is it a special type of bread? There was no explanation. It felt like the bread was either to increase the quantity or to hide something. There was nothing particularly noteworthy about the space, service, or overall experience given the price.

I ordered a special order in advance and had chestnut mixed rice made for me. It was the most delicious chestnut rice I have ever had! It seems like they made sure not to burn it, but personally, I like burnt rice so it would have been perfect if there was some burnt rice.

Lunch course for ¥5500 with a good balance of meat, vegetables, and fish. The portions are generous and satisfying. The main dishes are 40g each of sirloin and fillet of Yamagata beef. The dessert was a surprising large basil gelato or shaved ice, which was refreshing and delicious. Perfect for cleansing the palate after the meal.

I was introduced to a lunch meeting at Satsuki, a place I've been wanting to visit for a long time. I managed to adjust my schedule to attend, and the lunch meeting itself was great, but the highlight was definitely the lunch. We had seven appetizers and a delicious sirloin steak. The quality of the meat was outstanding, and it was so tasty that I couldn't stop eating. The chopsticks and rice also went well with the meal!

Yamagata beef hamburger set meal for 2800 yen. I arrived at the restaurant on Saturday at noon when it opened, but it was fully booked with reservations. Since I was alone, they were able to accommodate me by keeping a seat available for a limited time. There was no smell of meat being cooked inside the restaurant, which is common in teppanyaki restaurants. The appetizer was a three-item platter. The cream cheese with edamame in the middle seemed to have a bit of sugar in it, making the cheese very soft and sweet like a dessert. The salad was quite large for a lunch set salad, unexpectedly so. The dressing was a Chianti-based one and delicious. It was well-chilled, which was appreciated as it was hot outside. The hamburger was quite thick. Even when cut, the juices stayed inside without flowing out, a true sign of quality. The surface was nicely seared, but the inside was fluffy, almost like a "drinkable hamburger." Surprisingly good. The shiitake mushroom sauce had a slightly salty and spicy flavor. It wasn't sweet, so I dipped the hamburger in it generously. I love Yamagata beef, but I found the hamburger to be just delicious, which was a bit disappointing. Despite being a lunch set, it seemed tough for the lone staff member to handle everything. The layout of the restaurant didn't provide a clear view, making it a bit challenging for dessert and drink service after finishing the meal. However, considering the generous portion size and including dessert and a drink for 2800 yen, the cost performance is quite good. They also offer a regular hamburger set with soup and a drink for 1000 yen. The person next to me was having it, but I can't comment on the taste (laughs). By the way, the dessert that day was sesame panna cotta and watermelon.
