Earl Grey bouquet tea latte (hot/iced) is incredibly delicious and I highly recommend trying it. I am currently addicted to it and planning to go back for more. Today is a hot day where you start to sweat just by walking. There are many old coffee shops and cafes in Asakusa, but none of them really stand out. They all seem to cater to tourists. As a Tokyo resident, I don't feel like going into those kinds of places on purpose. In times like this, it's nice to have a convenient chain cafe to rely on. So, I went to Starbucks Coffee next to Asakusa Station on the Tobu Line and had an "Iced Tall Drip Coffee for 390 yen." They asked me, "Would you like to drink it here?" and "Can we prepare it in a mug for you?" Of course, that's fine. They handed me a mug with ice in it, just like the one I usually use for hot drinks. It was almost full inside the store. There were no seats available on the second floor. I managed to find a vacant seat on the third floor. Starbucks' iced coffee is refreshing and easy to drink. It also helped cool me down from the heat!

It doesn't have much of an Asakusa vibe and is smaller compared to the other two stores, but it's the most convenient place to stop by. I ordered today's coffee (I forgot what it was). During the day, Asakusa is crowded with tourists, but at 7 am, it's very quiet with hardly any people walking around. If you're looking for more of an Asakusa vibe, I recommend Starbucks Coffee Kaminarimon Store. It's right next to Kaminarimon Gate, the most centrally located Starbucks in a tourist area. Right behind it is Tartar Asakusa, a store specializing in tartlets.

After work, take a break. You can enjoy a coffee while watching people passing by from the glass-enclosed seats on the second floor facing the main street. As the street gets darker and the pedestrian traffic decreases, take a break while enjoying delicious coffee and looking at the streetscape of Asakusa.

I visited GW around 8 am. The restaurant was empty and very quiet, which was very calming. I usually order Starbucks' quiche because it is full of ingredients and delicious.
