Finally, we entered October. The reality is already December, though... There are still some things I haven't been able to upload, so it's impossible to catch up with reality before the end of the year. We are planning a trip to Nikko. Every season, my parents and I go on a one-night trip, and we were planning to go in September. We were discussing where to go, and decided on Nikko. However, the original plan was for September, but a typhoon hit on the scheduled day, so we had to change it to October. We will take the train to Nikko and then rent a car. First, we will go to Asakusa. We rented a Spacia, a private room, and decided to have breakfast on the train. Asakusa Station area has many restaurants, but there are no places open in the early morning. So, McDonald's was our savior. We went to a McDonald's near Tobu Asakusa Station, which opens at 6:30 am. We ordered two Sausage Egg McMuffin sets, a Filet-O-Fish, Nuggets, and an iced coffee for a total of 1420 yen. McDonald's is indeed cheap. The interior was quite simple and stylish. We picked up the food and headed to Tobu Asakusa Station. The smell of McDonald's was strong, and we had to wait until we were in our private room to eat. After eating, the smell lingered, which could give away that we had McDonald's. We enjoyed the McDonald's breakfast in the Spacia. I like McDonald's breakfast, especially the Sausage Egg McMuffin. The portions are now medium-sized, which is better than before. I haven't had McDonald's breakfast in a while, and it was delicious. The private room in the Spacia was filled with the smell of McDonald's, which I hoped would disappear before we reached Nikko. We planned to have a light breakfast since we would be having lunch in Nikko and a full dinner at the ryokan. It's important to eat lightly to avoid being too full.
