From morning, I took a leisurely stroll in Asakusa. The tourist spot in the morning is quiet, revealing things you wouldn't normally see. Shuttered shops with signs. Graffiti. Surprisingly, many people having breakfast alone, like me, just drinking coffee. Some are on their phones. Some are sitting with their eyes closed. Some are just eating. It's interesting to see a different clientele than in the business district. I think I'll peek into a different McDonald's next time.

I visited a McDonald's in Asakusa and ordered a Fillet-O-Fish set, 15-piece nuggets, and a high-calorie banana shake to go. I also tried the limited-time nugget sauces, getting two of one and one of barbecue. The Fillet-O-Fish was as expected, and the banana shake was delicious as always.

We planned to have a light breakfast since we would be having lunch in Nikko and a full dinner at the ryokan. It's important to eat lightly to avoid being too full.
