I missed lunch so I got takeout sushi here. I had a combination of two types of sashimi for 799 yen and chawanmushi for 129 yen. The sashimi is delicious with 8 pieces divided into 4 pieces each. Toppings include sesame and yuzu. There are various types of fish like horse mackerel, squid, shrimp, white fish, and tuna. Purchased two items: Chioori Tsutsuji for 638 yen (tax included) and Sushi Ebi for 314 yen. Chioori Tsutsuji is an affordable sushi set with 8 pieces, including button shrimp, egg, squid, tuna, conger eel, and negitoro roll. The button shrimp is thick and juicy, and the other toppings are also good quality. Sushi Ebi is a set of 4 pieces of shrimp sushi, with the shrimp being firm and delicious.

Hamadayama, Suginami-ku, Tokyo. A popular takeout sushi restaurant in the city. I stopped by on my way home from work on a weekday. It's located right next to Hamadayama Station on the Keio Inokashira Line. The area is bustling with energy in the evening. The shop is conveniently located next to the station with a bus stop right in front. When you make a purchase, the staff comes out from the back to assist you. Today's order included grilled mackerel pressed sushi for 389 yen and two rolls of natto maki for 238 yen including tax. The grilled mackerel sushi with its slightly fatty texture and the combination of the vinegar rice's acidity and sweetness make it a perfect accompaniment for drinks. After 9 pm, I visited a takeout sushi chain store near Hamadayama Station because all remaining items were half price. I found a tuna salad roll for 240 yen, which was wrapped in thin egg with salad greens, cucumber, tuna, and imitation crab inside. It had a creamy taste with a hint of mayonnaise, and the tuna added a nice touch. The combination of tuna and imitation crab was perfect. Without the tuna, the sushi would have been bland.

When passing by Hamadayama Station, I was drawn in by a time-limited discount and purchased some sushi. The offerings included a fresh fish assortment from Tsukiji at 899 yen, a live bonito assortment at 799 yen, and a refined assortment at 999 yen. The presentation was appealing for the price, but the taste of the fish seemed average. The rice was machine-made, so it lacked the delicate touch of a skilled sushi chef. Overall, I usually buy rolls and pressed sushi here, and the rice texture may be more suited for those types of sushi. (2016/11) Nigiri sushi of Kinmedai. A pack of 3 pieces costs 459 yen, which is a decent price for takeout from a shop, I thought. Surprisingly, it was very delicious. The Saba Umi Sosomaki costs 240 yen and comes with 4 thick slices of cured mackerel with ginger rolled inside. It was also very tasty. The balance between the fatty mackerel and the refreshing ginger flavor was perfect. I enjoyed it with a hot water and red sweet potato shochu. This was my second time using Chiyoda Sushi, and I found it more convenient than I expected. Thank you for the meal! (2016/10) Chiyoda Sushi is a small chain store located on the 1st floor of a building with Hamadayama Station. It is a takeout-only store conveniently located near the station. This time, I bought grilled mackerel sushi, futomaki, and nigiri. Since I had a bit too much to drink the day before, I enjoyed the sushi with hot tea, but it can also be a great snack with beer, sake, or shochu. I think the quality of their takeout is high. It is located right by Hamadayama Station on the Keio Line. It's very close to the Sugi Maru bus stop. They offer a variety of takeout sushi starting from around 300 yen, so I sometimes stop by on my way back from Hamadayama to pick up dinner. The taste is quite average, but the location is very convenient, and the affordable prices are great. The tuna and shrimp sushi taste like conveyor belt sushi, but the rolled sushi is quite delicious. I think buying here is more satisfying in terms of price and taste compared to the deli section at the supermarket.

Highly recommended mackerel sushi! Can you believe you can get such thick and delicious mackerel sushi at this price? I always want to bring it as a gift to my parents when I visit home. I also love the grilled mackerel sushi here. I personally like the kanpyo maki and tekka maki. My child likes the natto maki and negitoro maki. It's always convenient to be able to buy them.

I responded to my daughter's request for natto rolls. The natto rolls at Chiyoda Sushi are delicious. My daughter seems to have a separate stomach. I personally like kanpyo rolls.
