I have been coming here for about 5-6 years now. The interior is just a normal izakaya. However, the pho served for lunch is unbelievably delicious (the curry is also very tasty, but I wouldn't come all the way to Daimon just for the curry). Many women prefer the salt-flavored pho, but I always go for the spicy one. The flavor and aroma are perfectly balanced down to the smallest detail. I first enjoy it as is, then mix in the aged dried cod seasoning with the remaining half, and it's just heavenly. It's no wonder it once sold over 300 bowls a day when it gained popularity. The pho here is not trying to be unique for the sake of it, but is backed by a solid taste, making it very convincing. It doesn't leave you feeling empty like when you see modern art that hasn't been clearly evaluated yet. It's a mystery why this pho hasn't expanded to several stores as a pho specialty shop. It's a shame I don't get to visit often since I rarely go near Daimon. If you work or live nearby, it's a must-try. The izakaya is reasonably priced at night, making it great for girls' nights out or casual dates. While it's a typical izakaya, it has created a new genre in noodle dishes, reflected in its overall rating on Tabelog. *I mentioned pho a lot, but please don't expect Vietnamese pho! The pho at this restaurant is a high-level original dish tailored to the taste preferences of Japanese people. By the way, the grilled fish set at the neighboring restaurant "Matoi" in Daimon is also incredibly delicious in every way.

Lunch on a work day. As I was leaving the office and thinking about where to go, a sudden downpour hit and I ended up running into this place right in front of me. Hmm, I was just here a few days ago at night... I remember this place is famous for its delicious pho, but since I come here often, I decided to try the Mini Curry with Prawn Tartare Sauce. As always, the lunch here is top-notch (from a guy's perspective). The main dish comes with vegetables and soup, but the addition of a mini curry is a nice touch. The prawns in the main dish are indeed plump and the tartare sauce complements them well. The combination of the main dish and curry makes the rice disappear in no time.

Visited "Fudo-Moku" after a long time and had the lunch "Salt Flavored Pho" for ¥1,100. I asked for extra coriander and the flavor of yuzu pepper. The soup here is very delicious with a strong broth. I enjoyed it as it is at first, then added the "Spicy Seasoning with Dried Shrimp" for a richer taste. It's not too spicy, but you can easily finish the soup, which might be dangerous for high blood pressure (lol). However, it's said to be good for dieting. Maybe I'll try exploring other pho places nearby. The menu prices have been increased, but it's understandable in these times.

Ordered the Salt Flavor Pho (the name might not be accurate) with a side of mini curry. It was delicious. The only downside was that it was slightly pricey. (I had the preconception that Pho wasn't that expensive, so paying 1000 yen (actually +100 yen for the mini curry) felt expensive.)

While saying "sounds good," I ordered the tuna tempura set meal for 1100 yen with a laugh. Here, there are various types of pho and curry lunches available, but they also offer set meals. The set meal comes with a mini curry. The tempura, when eaten with grated daikon and ponzu sauce, is quite delicious. The curry is a healthy curry that doesn't make you feel guilty at all. With plenty of vegetables, egg soup, and a small dessert like warabi mochi included for 1100 yen, it's a great deal!

Casual course with 8 dishes including changing the last course to a dessert (total 8 items) with all-you-can-drink option for 4,950 yen. The staff's good service can greatly change the impression of the restaurant! Delicious dishes become even better ^_^ The drink options for all-you-can-drink were excellent, it was amazing!

I had a job in Hamamatsucho and had lunch here! The neighboring building is also a sister store! I couldn't decide between pho or curry, so I chose the spicy curry. The presentation was beautiful, the spices were flavorful, and it was delicious. Dessert was included, and the sweetness of the red bean paste in the kuzumochi dessert was a nice contrast to the spices. Next time, I will definitely try the pho!

I visited during lunchtime. I had always checked this popular place out but never had the chance to visit until now. I ordered their number one dish, ginger curry. The curry had an ethnic spice blend and was delicious with simmered daikon radish, potatoes, and boiled vegetables on top of the rice. As it's getting colder outside, it was a perfect meal to enjoy. Thank you for the meal.

I had ginger curry. It costs 1,000 yen with free rice refills. It's thick because it has a lot of grated ginger in it. The curry and ginger go really well together, with a perfect balance of flavors. It also comes with spices to make it spicier, so you can adjust it to your liking.

Pork with black vinegar sauce set meal for 1000 yen. Don't forget to order half rice! You can choose between a mini curry or mini grated yam as a side. I chose the pork with black vinegar sauce because I really like it. The fluffy pork in the tangy black vinegar sauce is delicious. It comes with potato salad and small beans. There's shredded cabbage too. The egg soup was also really good, with a thick texture and a hint of salt and chicken flavor. I'm starting to like cold dishes for summer. The curry was good, but I personally found the cheese flavor a bit overpowering. Overall, it was a great lunchtime experience.

Located in a small alley just a short walk from Daimon Station, this restaurant serves a mix of ethnic and Japanese cuisine! The menu offers a variety of dishes from appetizers to fish, meat, and carbs, making it hard to decide what to order. I enjoyed snacking on various dishes while sipping on highballs. Everything we ordered was delicious! But what left a strong impression on me was the pho we had as our final dish. It was my first time having pho as a closing dish, and it was surprisingly good! It was refreshing and delicious, leaving me very satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

I happened to pass by during lunchtime and was intrigued by the menu outside the restaurant. The staff approached me and I ended up going in. They serve curry and pho at this place. I decided to order the salt-flavored pho. The service was very fast. It's not the traditional Vietnamese pho, but a creative Japanese-style one. It was delicious. They also had a spicy shrimp sauce, which I added for some extra kick and it was tasty. I would love to buy just the shrimp sauce. The service was polite, and I would like to try a different menu next time.

A sign caught my eye near Daimon Station, so I decided to try this restaurant without checking reviews. It's a place that serves pho and curry. I was torn between the popular ginger curry, but ended up choosing the salt pho with a mini curry set. Unfortunately, you can't choose the curry in the set, so I got the chicken curry. The broth of the salt pho wasn't very clear, but it had a complex flavor as it was a creative take on pho. They offer free herbs like cilantro if you ask for it. The mini curry had a hint of coriander fragrance, and it seemed to have a lot of sautéed onions. Although it's chicken curry, there were hardly any chicken pieces visible, and it was a bit on the salty side for my taste. I added some dried shrimp spicy seasoning to adjust the spiciness, and it turned out delicious. The set also comes with dessert, so it's a good deal. I'm curious about the ginger curry, so I might try that next time.

During the state of emergency, were you closed? I visited for lunch for the first time in a while. As I was looking at the menu outside, I was approached at the perfect timing and chose the "Shrimp Fry Set Meal with Grated Yam" from the daily specials for ¥1,000. I had to choose between curry and the set meal, but both are delicious so I was torn on which one to pick. The shrimp was incredibly bouncy and all three were big and packed with juicy meat. The tartar sauce here leans more towards mayonnaise. The grated yam rice is also a taste of bliss. This place is known for pho and curry, but the lunch soup is also gently seasoned. It's understandable that there are many female solo customers here.

I was always interested in this place, but it seemed like a place for drinking rather than dinner, so I hesitated to go in. When I passed by, a staff member came out and informed me that they also serve meals without alcohol. It turns out they offer dinner-like meals during this time. The lunch menu is almost the same, but the prices are different. They have a variety of Vietnamese national dish, Pho. I was curious about the Pho noodles, but for my first impression, I tried the "Spicy Pho" with a mango juice. It looks like spicy noodles, but it's actually Pho with a firm noodle texture. When you add the spicy seasoning, it deepens the flavor, and it's quite nice. However, I felt like having another dish to complement it, maybe as a good way to end a drinking session? Maybe pairing it with a steamed chicken dish would be even better. I'm interested in trying their ginger curry next time.

Fried shrimp set meal for 1000 yen with no wait on weekdays during lunchtime. Lots of vegetables. Comes with 3 fried shrimp, soup, curry, and a bite-sized dessert (warabi mochi) for 1000 yen. A great deal. I was torn between the pork cutlet set meal, but I wanted to eat fried shrimp. The curry is also recommended, but I'm happy that it comes with the set meal. The fried shrimp is crispy and juicy. The curry is also spicy and flavorful. The soup has lots of vegetables. There are many types of dishes, making it a well-balanced lunch!

Visited for lunch. The place is located just a short walk from the intersection where the first Keihin-dori crosses near Oimachi Station, heading towards Zozoji Temple. Turn left at the corner where Hotei-chan is located. I had the Spicy Chicken Curry for 1,000 yen with an extra large serving of curry for 100 yen. The taste is quite unique! It's not too salty and has a gentle flavor, but you can still feel the spices. It's not overpowering or too spicy, but somehow it's addictive and delicious. The curry has plenty of chicken without bones, making it easy to eat. For those who like spicy food, I recommend adding the spicy dried shrimp seasoning available at the table, it adds heat and punch. Overall, it was a curry that was gentle yet stimulating. Just being gentle is not enough... In fact, it's like saying you like gentle people, but that's a lie, right? Haha. I tried to act like a gentle person who listens to everything, but I was treated as if I didn't matter... In the end, I think a bit of excitement is necessary! The curry had a mysterious taste with a unique flavor hidden behind its gentleness. It's a recommended place for those seeking an original taste.

Udon or ramen... But I haven't even passed New Year's yet and my belly fat is increasing... I should have lost some weight before it got cold, but now it's too late to regret. Feeling guilty, I wandered around the area near Daimon Station unable to decide where to eat. Then I saw the word "pho". I had a feeling it was low in calories... yes, definitely low... alright, let's go in! So today, I had the "Salt Pho/1,000 yen" with a "Mini Curry/50 yen". <Food/Taste> It's more like pho with a ramen twist. The taste is great, and it's perfect for the upcoming season. <Service> Comes with tofu and Japanese dessert. <Atmosphere> In the evening, it's like a traditional Japanese-style izakaya. Very calming to eat there. <Cost Performance> The +50 yen curry is a great deal. But for a chubby old man like me, it's a dish I should resist.

After a long time, I went to Hamamatsucho for lunch on a weekday before 12 o'clock, and it was almost full. I had "Salt Flavored Pho" with yuzu pepper flavored mini curry for ¥1,050. The taste was chicken curry. The soup was quite heavy and even had roasted pork on top, so it had a ramen-like taste. It warmed me up. Let's do our best for the afternoon work! (^^)v

In this area, there are many curry restaurants, which catch your eye as it gets colder. I decided to try the "Ginger Curry" for ¥1,000, as it is the most popular. The curry is complex with various spices and includes daikon, potatoes, and chicken. The white rice is served with deep-fried vegetables. I also ordered the sesame dressing salad, which was a generous portion for just an additional ¥50. The restaurant seems to focus on health, as seen throughout. I later read reviews and found out that the "Creative Four" is actually the popular choice. Many women were entering the restaurant as well. My body felt warm from the inside out, and the spice level was just right. This might become my go-to dish for the winter.

I had lunch at an Asian fusion restaurant. It's a popular place, so there was a wait to get in. The popular items on the menu are "Pho" and "Curry". The Pho has six creative variations available. The set with a mini curry is popular, priced at 1050 yen. It seems like a good deal compared to just ordering the Pho for 1000 yen. However, the set only comes with a chicken curry and you can't choose the type of curry. I tried the "Salt Flavored Pho" with the mini curry. This Pho is suitable for those who are not fond of the unique flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, but those who enjoy the tangy and distinctive flavors of Pho might be slightly disappointed. It has a taste that Japanese people would enjoy. It was very delicious, especially the topping of char siu. The "spicy and flavorful dried shrimp seasoning" on the table is worth trying. It doesn't have a strong spicy taste, but rather a rich umami flavor from the shrimp. The mini curry was spicy and delicious as well. It's understandable why the curry is popular. If you order just the curry, there are other options available, so trying the curry alone might be a good idea too.
