It quickly became a popular restaurant. You can casually stop by and enjoy meticulously prepared tantanmen that feels like high-end Chinese cuisine, so it's no wonder it's become so popular. The menu includes: - Soupless tantanmen - Sichuan-style tantanmen - Onion shumai - Rice Last time, I had the rich shrimp tantanmen, so this time I tried the Sichuan-style tantanmen. My companion had the soupless tantanmen again. The Sichuan-style tantanmen was delicious, but personally I prefer the soupless tantanmen, then the rich shrimp tantanmen, and then the Sichuan-style tantanmen. The shumai was also delicious. Rice at the end is a must. It was very delicious.

I love this restaurant. They serve Tottori beef bone ramen. The salt ramen is delicious, but I personally love the white soy sauce ramen. It looks clear like salt ramen, but it's actually soy sauce flavored. It has a slightly sweet taste that I can't get enough of, I even finish the soup. Today, I had it with a raw egg on rice, which was rich and delicious. The combination of rice with egg and the soup is the best. It was so delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had Tantanmen noodles. The spiciness was not as strong as I expected. However, I also felt a mellow flavor, making it easy to eat. The thin noodles are just the right amount of soup, making it easy to eat smoothly. It's nice that you can add Sichuan pepper, chili oil, and black vinegar to your liking. I like to sprinkle plenty of Sichuan pepper and chili oil when eating. Please try it once. I think it's okay even for those who are not good with Tantanmen. However, although the staff's quick response is good, I was bothered by the fact that they talk a lot while making the food, so I deduct one star.

Famous Cold Tan Tan Men 1,100 yen
In the summer, I crave something spicy and cold. That's right, cold tan tan men! The thin and slightly firm slippery noodles are delicious. And above all, the soup. The rich sesame aroma is delicious. It's spicy and flavorful. The abundance of dried shrimp, ground meat, and white onions is perfect for summer. Thank you for the delicious meal.

If you're going to eat, definitely go for the "cold" option. I visited around 7:30 PM on Saturday, and it seemed like the peak time had passed as I was able to sit down comfortably. I ordered the rich tantanmen, cold tantanmen, and soupless tantanmen. The staff asked if they could serve them with time intervals, so I agreed. The soup was indeed rich and had a nice aroma. The crunchy dried shrimp added a great texture and flavor accent - it was perfect! You can also add extra toppings, so if you like, go ahead and add more. I'll definitely try adding extra shrimp next time. The hot version had soft noodles that slid down smoothly, while the cold version had a firmer texture with a good chew. Both had thin noodles that you could eat endlessly - they were so refreshing. I finished the cold soup to the last drop and felt refreshed - it really felt like summer! For all three dishes, they recommended adding black vinegar to taste, so I gave it a try. I usually don't like black vinegar, but I decided to try it. Surprisingly, it paired incredibly well with the dishes, completely changing the flavor profile - it was a pleasant surprise. The soupless tantanmen had a subtle numbing sensation from the sansho pepper, which was just right for me. It was delicious, but a bit challenging to eat as the noodles tended to stick together even after mixing well. Despite the hot weather outside, the cold tantanmen was highly recommended. I might just stick to that whenever I visit Ichiryu in the future. A definite repeat visit is in order.

I went alone after work and there was only one other customer, probably because it was a weekday night. I ordered tantanmen and a bottle of beer. They didn't have draft beer. The tantanmen was a bit pricey, over 1,000 yen. Maybe it's because it's a tourist area? It was creamy, not too spicy, and delicious.

They are serving bone broth! I recommend their healthy soup which is clear and has a gentle beef aroma that comes through your nose. It is light and you'll finish it in no time! I bet their tantanmen noodles are delicious too, I want to try them next time!

I was curious about the "Special Rich Tan Tan Men" and came to Asakusa to try it out. I visited the main store near the station. I ordered the Special Rich Tan Tan Men for ¥1100. When I tasted the soup, the sesame flavor was rich and creamy, not too spicy or numbing. The crispy shrimp also went well with it. The rich and mild flavor was delicious, and the sesame taste was quite prominent. The noodles are very thin and imported from Hong Kong. It was my first time trying such thin noodles, and they coated well with the soup. The rich sesame flavor was delicious, and I ended up finishing the whole bowl. It seems like it would also be good to mix in some rice. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

● I don't feel like going again, it was good but not to the point of wanting to go back.
● Ordered: Rich Tan Tan Men (Spicy Sesame Noodles) - 1100 yen.
● Soup: The soup was rich and creamy with a sesame base. It wasn't very spicy or numbing, so it lacked the distinct Tan Tan Men flavor and was more on the mild side. It was tasty and seemed like it would appeal to a wide audience, but I didn't feel anything special about it.
● Noodles: The noodles were extremely thin and curly. Because of the thick and viscous soup, the balance was off and it ended up feeling a bit mushy.
● Toppings: Green onions, meat miso, shrimp.
● Value: I'm not sure about the average prices in Tokyo, but I didn't think it was great value for the price.
● Atmosphere: The interior was clean and the counter didn't feel too cramped.

When it gets cold, I crave ramen. I happened to come across a restaurant while walking today, and I was lucky to find another delicious place.

The sesame in the rich sesame tan tan was really flavorful. I read an article describing it as "like potage," and I agree with the richness. The soft, thin noodles without much firmness mix well with the soup. It has a hint of shrimp aroma when you eat it, which adds a nice flavor. It's not spicy, so if you want more heat, you can adjust with the table's flower pepper or chili oil.
The tableware was also clean and beautiful.

I visited for the first time in a while. There are so many restaurants I want to try in Asakusa, so I haven't been able to go for a while, but I finally got my tantanmen. I remember being able to choose the type of noodles before, but now only thin noodles are available. I like thin noodles, so I'm satisfied with this. I felt like it was missing a little bit of sansho pepper, but I added more from the container on the table. It was delicious.

I discovered a stylish tantanmen restaurant in Asakusa! I tried it right away. It wasn't spicy at all and had no strong flavors, so it was easy to eat. They use thin noodles, which also makes it easy to eat. Personally, I prefer tantanmen with a bit more kick, but for those who like it, it's a dish that you won't get tired of. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

I extended my walk to Asakusa on my way back from drinking and went to Ichiryu. When I looked at the menu, I saw that they had soy sauce ramen on offer. As a soy sauce lover, I had been waiting for this menu item. When the ramen arrived, I thought, "Wait, this isn't salt ramen, right?" The soup was so clear that I asked the staff about it, and they said they used white soy sauce. Wow! I tried the soup first, and it was delicious! It was somehow gentle and went well after drinking. I also felt a hint of sweetness. It was a soy sauce ramen like I had never tasted before. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I went to the ramen shop "Ichiryu" featured in the Asakusa special on the TV show "Ousama no Branch". The shop is known for its rich soup and ultra-thin noodles. The noodles are very thin and have a firm texture. They are not the typical straight Kyushu style noodles, so they mix well with the soup. The soup is indeed rich, but there isn't much else that stands out. It seems like they may be moving towards franchise operations, as the soup seems pre-made and just heated in a pan. It's a bit disappointing to see that. The expectations were high due to the TV feature, but the cost performance and taste were just average.

The shop has a clean and neat impression with only a counter. I purchased the soupless tantanmen for 950 yen. The noodles were smooth and the spiciness was mild. The fried small shrimp added a unique texture, but overall the taste lacked richness and mildness, leaving an impression of a bland tantanmen. Next time, I would like to try the regular tantanmen or the cold tantanmen.

Today, I went to "Tantanmen Ichiryu" in Asakusa, which was featured on "King's Brunch." It is a restaurant specializing in tantanmen. I often visit Asakusa, but this was a new place for me. I ordered the "Rich Tantanmen," which had a thick sesame soup with a delicious shrimp flavor. Personally, it was a tantanmen that I really enjoyed.

I had some errands near Asakusa Temple and decided to look for a restaurant for lunch. I stumbled upon Tantanmen Ichiryu, where there was a line outside. The interior was stylish and many female customers were there. I ordered the cold tantanmen as I was in the mood for something refreshing. The serving speed was fast and the dish was delicious. It was quite cold for a cold tantanmen, with a good amount of Chinese spices giving it a nice flavor. There were garlic shrimps in it, adding a strong flavor. I would like to visit again if I have the chance!

I felt like eating cold tantan noodles at the end of summer. I also ordered shrimp wontons as a side dish. It wasn't crowded since it was before noon. The shrimp wontons arrived first. They were delicious. Wontons are always good. Then came the main dish, cold tantan noodles. Wow, they looked beautiful. The creamy sesame soup with the contrast of bright red chili oil was impressive. I mixed it all together. The soup had a strong creamy sesame flavor with little spiciness. The dried shrimp added a nice touch. It was a well-balanced soup. Really delicious.

This ramen shop uses beef bones instead of pork bones, and it's delicious. Beef bones can be difficult to cook with because of their strong smell, but this ramen has a light and gentle soup that is impressive. The salt ramen I tried was high-quality. The chilled tantanmen is unbelievably delicious, I even finished the soup. The soupless tantanmen, a signature dish, is also tasty. The homemade chili oil enhances the flavor of the ramen. Overall, it's a highly accomplished ramen shop. Thank you for the meal.

Sometimes, there are times when you really crave tantanmen. When you have that craving, one place that will definitely satisfy it is Ichiryu. You can even enter the restaurant without any stress during the evening hours. I had the warm and rich tantanmen. There are also cold tantanmen and soupless tantanmen available, but I have not tried those. It was delicious. The thick and creamy soup, possibly sesame-based, combined well with the thin noodles, hitting the spot for my tantanmen craving. In its normal state, it's not very spicy. I really like this type of tantanmen. Thank you for the meal. ★4.0-0.1×0.1万円≒★4.0

Friday 9:30 pm. Visited with 2 people for a meal after eating yakitori. Cash only at the ticket machine inside the clean restaurant with an L-shaped counter. Many solo male diners. The owner chef seems to be from Iwate, which made me happy as we are from the same hometown.
- Bottled beer Asahi Super Dry 480 yen
- Special rich tantanmen 950 yen ❤️
- Cold tantanmen with extra spiciness 1000 yen
- Sichuan sansho extra spiciness 100 yen
You can choose between normal or extra spiciness. I thought it wouldn't be that spicy, so I bought extra spiciness, but it was spicy enough within the free range! I preferred the warm one over the cold. It was my favorite tantanmen with spiciness, so I'll come back again. It seems there are other locations too. Thank you for the meal.
