Recently, the restaurant has been trying to differentiate itself by staying open until morning. Today, I missed dinner and was debating whether I should just go without eating, but I ended up coming here. I saw online that they have craft beer from Hong Kong, which I wanted to try. I started with the water eggplant sashimi, which was sweet like fruit. Then, I had a plate of seared barracuda and ark shell. I paired it with chrysanthemum. I ended up striking up a conversation with the customer next to me - it's a cozy place to be.

A young chef, just turned 30, runs the restaurant. He specializes in fresh sashimi and also makes sushi using the same ingredients. Today, I enjoyed a delicious dashimaki made with fresh sakura shrimp. The restaurant offers a wide variety of sake, including some rare options. If you share your taste preferences, the chef will recommend a suitable sake for you, making it easy for indecisive customers.

I was taken to this restaurant by someone I just met at another place in Higashi-Nakano who said they would introduce me to a great restaurant. I had been wanting to try this place for a while, so it was a great opportunity. It's categorized as a "kappo" style restaurant on Tabelog, and indeed it has a refined atmosphere different from your typical izakaya. However, it doesn't feel too formal, just right. The complimentary dish was negi nuta, with the green of the leeks, the yellow of the vinegar miso, and slices of red daikon radish. The presentation was beautiful. The sashimi platter was delicious. The freshness and combination were great. I need to come back again. I drank too much and barely remember anything.

The sake is reasonably priced, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is calm and lovely. I think it's best to be bold and order the course menu. I'm very curious about the sake omakase course, so I vowed to come back and try it next time as I left the restaurant.

This week is summer vacation. Although I don't have any plans to go far, I will be mainly at home supervising my children's studies. Today, I went to a tiny bookstore near Higashi-Nakano Station and found this place on the way. As a resident of Nishiguchi, I am not very familiar with the East exit. I discovered this shop the other day while I was out running. It's always fun to discover new places while running. I climbed the stairs and entered the store. Wow, there are lots of Japanese sake displayed behind the counter. It seems like this is a place where you can enjoy delicious Japanese sake based on past reviews mostly being about nighttime visits. I ordered the Uni and Ikura Donburi (1500 yen). There was only one other customer besides me, so the food was served in about 5 minutes. In addition to the donburi, there was a salad with green shiso dressing, miso soup with nameko mushrooms and white leeks, and soy sauce for the seafood bowl. I usually only eat Uni from Kura Sushi, so this Uni was smooth and the Ikura had a surprising amount and a nice texture. I also like nameko mushrooms. I wish I could have enjoyed the meal while drinking the beautifully lined up Japanese sake like jewels... With that thought in mind, I left. I wanted to drink alcohol, so on the way home, I bought a Strong Zero from the convenience store and drank it all at once! Summer is truly here.

Sometimes I go to this area, but I noticed this shop for the first time. From the outside, you can't see inside very well, so it's a bit intimidating to enter, but inside is a clean shop with only a counter. At lunch, they mainly serve rice bowls like salmon ikura don and seafood bowl. The seafood bowl varies depending on the day, but it comes with a generous serving of seared mackerel, amberjack, sea urchin, salmon roe, salad, pickles, and miso soup for 1500 yen. The soy sauce for the seafood bowl is delicious, and I devoured it all.

I visited once again! Enjoy seasonal ingredients! And a lineup of sake that goes well with them! Simply delicious ingredients and sake without any unnecessary information! Highly recommended! Carefully prepared firefly squid, young ayu from Lake Biwa, bracken fern, butterbur sprout, taranome (Japanese angelica shoots), salted cherry blossom tempura, all exquisite!! And don't miss the egg over rice with burnt rice from the pot, a must-try!

We ordered the recommended course for about 5000 yen, maybe around 4980 yen, and the standard course for around 2800 yen for drinks. This restaurant only serves sake, and the water they provide is brewed by a friend of the owner who graduated from Tokyo University of Agriculture. No wonder the water tastes so soft and gentle. The chef recommended the dishes, while the hostess selected the drinks. The meal included yellow chives as an appetizer, which was delicious, followed by a delicious hot pot with snow crab. Then we had sashimi, tempura, oysters, assorted appetizers, and a warm and gentle miso soup. We had about two glasses of sake each, trying the recommended ones continuously. We even tried a plum wine that caught our eye in the fridge. Finally, we were persuaded to try the hostess's favorite unrefined sake. We drank quite a lot! The plum wine was made from shochu soaked in sake lees, clear and smooth. Among the sake we tried, we particularly liked the one with a simple hiragana label. It was made from pesticide-free rice by a rice farmer in Fukushima, resulting in a gentle taste. Despite the rumors, the brewery is working hard to conduct radiation tests and maintain a positive attitude. We admire their spirit. The hostess's recommended unrefined sake had a sour taste, was slightly carbonated, and was easy to drink. It was dangerously good! We were warmly escorted to the door by the two hosts, ending a lovely evening.

The freshness of the fish is by far the highest level in Tokyo.

The other day, I was invited by an acquaintance to a seafood izakaya in Higashi-Nakano that I had been curious about for a while. The food was delicious and the interior of the restaurant was stylish. I forgot to take photos, but I will definitely visit again!

There are quite a variety of types of sake, and I think the small tasting set is a good choice for drinkers. It was nice to be able to enjoy different types of sake.

I went to a Japanese sake tasting and dining restaurant on my puppy's birthday! The hospitality of the proprietress was amazing, she chose the perfect sake for each of us! The menu we ordered included edamame, assorted sashimi, horse meat miso soup, and rice cooked with seasonal ingredients. Everything was delicious! I want to become a regular at this place.

The two of us spent 12,000 yen and the chef chose the sake for us based on his preference. The dishes were all delicious. The seafood bowl, clams, and yellowtail were all tasty.

The selection of alcohol and dishes is great, but the prices are high! It can easily reach close to 10,000 yen per person.
