I was captivated by the fried chicken, so I went on a mini expedition to Hachioji. Despite expecting a long line due to the popularity from appearing on a popular TV show, there were a few empty parking spaces in front of the store. However, the parking lot was small and quite difficult to park in. It was fortunate that it was a weekday. We arrived slightly after the opening time and there were about 10 people waiting in line. The store opened and we entered smoothly. We sat at a table, but the inside of the store was hot...apparently, the large air conditioner near the entrance had broken down, causing a delay in opening. The staff were busy setting up fans as a temporary solution. We ordered the fried rice set for 1350 yen, 3 pieces of fried chicken for 190 yen each, and a pork belly rice bowl for 1050 yen. First, the pork belly rice bowl arrived for my companion. Seriously!? The ramen bowl was filled with a huge portion...I knew it was a large serving, but this was unexpected. Then the small ramen arrived. It was small in size but had a deep flavor, making it a satisfying portion. The simple soy sauce ramen had medium-thick curly noodles with bamboo shoots, seaweed, chopped green onions, roasted pork, and bamboo shoots. Next, the fried rice arrived. There were 2 servings!! The fried rice was flavorful with plenty of diced roasted pork, fish cake, green onions, and egg. It was delicious and easy to eat with a nice texture. The set also came with dumplings, which were filled with a generous amount of ingredients and had a strong garlic flavor. I would recommend them. You can also order the fried chicken individually, starting from 1 piece for 190 yen. It was a big size with a garlic soy sauce flavor. About half of the people there ordered the fried chicken set or fried chicken meal. The pork belly rice bowl was overflowing with a large amount of super tender pork belly stew, along with green vegetables, onions, and bamboo shoots in a sweet and savory sauce. It was like a drinkable pork belly rice bowl. Regardless of what you order, the portions are generous and satisfying. Due to the broken air conditioner, the inside of the store was hot, and I ended up drinking too much water. Also, the unexpectedly large portions made it difficult to finish the meal, so I bought a takeout pack for 20 yen and decided to take the leftovers home. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the overall experience pleasant. I would like to visit again someday. Thank you for the meal.
