【Order】Chicken Karaage Set Meal 1020 yen 【Impression】It had been a while since I visited Daisinte. It was a rainy day around 2 pm, so I thought it would be empty, but there were many cars in the parking lot. The restaurant was about 80% full, showing its popularity. When it comes to Daisinte, their karaage set meal is a must-try. Almost everyone around me ordered the same thing. When the karaage was served, I was surprised by the portion size. Was it always this much? I momentarily felt unsure if I could finish it all. Mayonnaise, which used to be included by default, was not provided this time. But if you ask the staff, they will serve it on the side. The karaage was huge. It seemed like it could weigh around 1kg. I struggled to finish it, eating slowly towards the end. If I stopped eating, it felt like it wouldn't go down, so I took small bites and spent about 5 minutes on the last piece. I thought the portion was too generous, but surprisingly, people around me were finishing their meals. Maybe my stomach has just gotten smaller. Parking: Available, Credit Card: Not accepted, Electronic Money: Not accepted, Visit Date: Weekday, 2:00 pm, Weather: Rain, Waiting Time: None, 1 parking space available.

On Sunday around 1:30 PM, we went to Daisentei in Hachioji as per my partner's request to eat their fried chicken. It's a retro Showa-era style restaurant with tatami, counter, and table seating. Even at this time, it was quite crowded. We strategized for takeout. Today's order: - Fried chicken set for 1050 yen - Garlic chives and liver for around 1000 yen - Bottle of Asahi beer for 650 yen - Two takeout packs for 40 yen each The beer, rice, and soup were quickly served, followed by 6 huge, hot, and crispy fried chicken pieces! They were big, hot, flavorful, and crunchy. We both ended up injuring our upper jaws while eating, haha. The arrival of the garlic chives and liver made us burst into laughter! They were massive! Like 3 servings? Maybe 4 servings? Also hot and perfectly complemented the beer with their rich flavor. After eating a bit, we silently started packing 2 fried chickens and 2/3 of the garlic chives and liver for takeout. It's a lot, so be careful! The owner and the young, energetic staff were very friendly. Thank you for the meal!

I had heard that they appeared on TV, so I decided to try their jumbo portion dish. I ordered the sauce yakisoba and it was definitely enough for two people. I was a bit worried about the taste with such a large portion, but it was delicious. The food had a street food vibe and was very satisfying. It was too much for me to finish, so I took the rest home.

I went to this famous restaurant known for its large portions to try the Leek and Liver set meal! The regular size rice I ordered was the same as a large portion at a normal restaurant, and the main dish of liver and leek was a sight to behold with its huge serving! When I tried it, the rich flavor was exactly to my liking and it was incredibly delicious! I was completely satisfied after eating it.

This restaurant is often featured on YouTube and TV. The Set B meal for 1250 yen comes with a huge portion of fried chicken, which is delicious and flavorful. The ramen is a bit salty. The rice is firm and goes well with strongly flavored dishes. The portion was too big to finish, so I ended up taking some home. The parking lot is small, so be cautious if you're not confident in your driving skills!

I have a new hobby of visiting local Chinese restaurants in Tokyo that I am not familiar with. I noticed this place while passing by a famous ramen shop nearby. The exterior looked dirty with preparation work going on outside, and the inside had a strong smell of old oil. Despite the spacious interior, I was surprised by the condition. I ordered the five-ingredient yakisoba and their specialty, a giant fried chicken. The portion size and the size of the fried chicken were reasonable for the price, making it a good option for students or big eaters. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I arrived before the store opened and ordered the E set (fried rice, small ramen, gyoza) with an additional 2 pieces of fried chicken. First, the fried rice was served. It seemed like it was pre-made as it was a bit cold inside. The seasoning was not just strong, but overly salty. After a short break, the gyoza arrived. They were the same as typical gyoza from a local Chinese restaurant. Then, after another break, the small ramen was served. It was a light, regular soy sauce ramen. The chashu was tender, but again, the seasoning was too salty. And after another break, the fried chicken was served. It was also slightly cold and the seasoning was very salty. I, who usually enjoys strong flavors, found it too intense. I think the cost performance is good. Thank you for the meal.

Daishintei - Repeat visit for a business lunch to scare my junior colleague. I invited him for lunch and ordered fried rice for him while I ordered Mapo Don for myself at 1050 yen. When the Mapo Don arrived, I couldn't help but laugh from behind my seat as it was too spicy for me to eat alone. My junior colleague was sweating while eating the fried rice. For those planning to visit, I recommend ordering half Mapo Don and half fried rice, as it can make you unable to move in the afternoon. If you can't finish your meal, you can also take it home. When I mentioned this experience to my client, they also found it amusing.

I first learned about this restaurant at the Omoi Mai store, and I was attracted to its appeal of serving large portions. I had always wanted to try it, and finally got the chance after visiting Summerland. When the food arrived, I was amazed by the generous portion size! Not only that, but the size of the fried chicken was bigger than my fist, and it tasted delicious! It seemed impossible to finish such a large portion, but luckily they offered takeout, so I could enjoy the leftovers at home. It was a Chinese restaurant where you could enjoy the food twice! Thank you for the meal!

I went to the famous jumbo portion Chinese restaurant "Daishintei" in Nishi-Hachioji for lunch. The owner of this place is a classmate of the celebrity Hiromi, and the restaurant is often featured on variety shows. It was a weekday and close to 2 pm, so the restaurant was only about 40-50% full. I went with my family of three (my daughter had a day off), and we ordered the fried chicken set, fried rice and small ramen set, Tianjin rice bowl, and deep-fried shrimp wontons. The dishes that came out were indeed jumbo portions! But they were all delicious. In particular, the fried rice was the most delicious I have ever tasted. However, it was too much for two women and an old man, so we ended up taking half of the fried rice, half of the Tianjin rice bowl, and 2 out of 5 fried chicken pieces home (laughs). We bought takeaway containers for 30 yen.

Today, I went to a restaurant recommended by my boss with a junior colleague from work. I thought we might have to wait in line because it's the Obon holiday, but luckily we were able to get in without waiting due to the extreme heat. The parking lot was a bit narrow and had a unique layout, so be careful when parking! The restaurant had traditional tatami seating, table seating, and a counter, creating a nice old-fashioned atmosphere. I ordered fried rice and two pieces of fried chicken a la carte, while admiring what others around me were eating. After about 10 minutes, my order arrived! The fried rice was served in a generous portion, with a nice fluffy texture and a strong salty flavor. It was a bit heavy towards the end, but overall it was delicious! There were many families dining there, and it was a warm and welcoming place.

"Tantan Ramen" for 1,120 yen with karaage and a large draft beer for 950 yen. This popular restaurant in the outskirts of Hachioji is visited by celebrities. It is known for its large portions and has been featured on TV multiple times. The owner is a classmate of the celebrity Hiromi. It is always crowded when passing by. There are counter seats, tables, and tatami seating, making it lively with young students and families with small children. It is recommended for people with a large appetite or big build. I couldn't finish the large portion myself as I can't eat as much as I used to when I was young. It's best to go in a group. On this day, I originally wanted the "Ebi Ramen" but it was sold out, so I got the "Tantan Ramen" instead. It has a strong garlic flavor and tastes delicious. The soup is a bit like green curry and would go well with rice. It includes bean sprouts, leeks, komatsuna, ground meat, garlic, ginger, sesame paste, chili oil, doubanjiang, and thin noodles with a lot of volume. I finished it all and now I'm full.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with excitement, as it was often talked about at work. I managed to find a parking spot in the crowded parking lot in front of the restaurant. The place was busy but I got seated without waiting, just as people were leaving. The menu had a wide variety of options, but I decided to go with fried rice instead of half-fried rice. When the dish arrived, it was a generous portion of fried rice with shrimp, ham, roasted pork, green onions, and eggs all mixed together perfectly. The flavors were well-balanced and delicious. Although the price felt a bit high, I would still give it 3 stars and definitely visit again.

I had a meeting with a friend in Tachikawa, so I stopped by this restaurant on the way. I parked in the parking lot in front of the store and went inside because I was a bit tired of waiting. We ordered "Fried Rice (extra large portion)" and "Gyoza Set Meal" to share. The fried rice came in a bowl with a plate underneath, but it was a bit difficult to scoop out without spilling over the plate. The rice itself was fried, but the small pieces of fish mixed in were a bit overpowering with a fishy taste. The gyoza was a bit soggy and had a bland taste compared to when I had it before. However, seeing other customers ordering stir-fried dishes around me made me want to try that next time along with some fried chicken. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back again.

I was captivated by the fried chicken, so I went on a mini expedition to Hachioji. Despite expecting a long line due to the popularity from appearing on a popular TV show, there were a few empty parking spaces in front of the store. However, the parking lot was small and quite difficult to park in. It was fortunate that it was a weekday. We arrived slightly after the opening time and there were about 10 people waiting in line. The store opened and we entered smoothly. We sat at a table, but the inside of the store was hot...apparently, the large air conditioner near the entrance had broken down, causing a delay in opening. The staff were busy setting up fans as a temporary solution. We ordered the fried rice set for 1350 yen, 3 pieces of fried chicken for 190 yen each, and a pork belly rice bowl for 1050 yen. First, the pork belly rice bowl arrived for my companion. Seriously!? The ramen bowl was filled with a huge portion...I knew it was a large serving, but this was unexpected. Then the small ramen arrived. It was small in size but had a deep flavor, making it a satisfying portion. The simple soy sauce ramen had medium-thick curly noodles with bamboo shoots, seaweed, chopped green onions, roasted pork, and bamboo shoots. Next, the fried rice arrived. There were 2 servings!! The fried rice was flavorful with plenty of diced roasted pork, fish cake, green onions, and egg. It was delicious and easy to eat with a nice texture. The set also came with dumplings, which were filled with a generous amount of ingredients and had a strong garlic flavor. I would recommend them. You can also order the fried chicken individually, starting from 1 piece for 190 yen. It was a big size with a garlic soy sauce flavor. About half of the people there ordered the fried chicken set or fried chicken meal. The pork belly rice bowl was overflowing with a large amount of super tender pork belly stew, along with green vegetables, onions, and bamboo shoots in a sweet and savory sauce. It was like a drinkable pork belly rice bowl. Regardless of what you order, the portions are generous and satisfying. Due to the broken air conditioner, the inside of the store was hot, and I ended up drinking too much water. Also, the unexpectedly large portions made it difficult to finish the meal, so I bought a takeout pack for 20 yen and decided to take the leftovers home. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the overall experience pleasant. I would like to visit again someday. Thank you for the meal.

The fried chicken at this crowded restaurant, which gained popularity after appearing on TV shows like "Omoimasu," is about the size of a child's fist and has a slightly strong flavor. The next popular item seems to be the fried rice, which is served in a generous portion and has a nice, fluffy texture. Fried chicken and fried rice go well together, so I wish they would offer a fried chicken fried rice set. The mini ramen that comes with the set is average in taste, but the portion of noodles is generous for a mini size.

I went to Daisentei in Hachioji, Tokyo. It's a famous restaurant known for its mega-sized Chinese dishes, located about a 10-minute drive from Nishi-Hachioji along the Jinba Kaido. It's always crowded and popular. When I arrived around 1pm, only seats at the counter were available. I ordered the meat and leek set meal with a small portion of rice, while my companion ordered the pork belly bowl. The portion sizes were huge, with other tables receiving the "murderous portion" dishes. I was surprised by the number of female customers. I could only eat half of the meat and leek dish before feeling full, so I took the rest home. My companion managed to finish the pork belly bowl, which was quite a large amount, but the taste was just average.

I finally visited Daisentei, which I had seen on TV and YouTube many times. I arrived at the parking lot just before the opening at 11:00, and surprisingly there were only two groups waiting. As soon as the store opened, I sat at the counter seat. The hostess was there, but the master was absent, and a young man and woman were working efficiently. There were many menu items I wanted to try, but I ordered a large portion of fried rice and 2 pieces of fried chicken. It seemed that you could order fried chicken not only as a single item or in a set, but also by the number of pieces. The fried rice was said to be quite large, so I ordered the large portion after looking at past reviews and photos. The fried chicken arrived in less than 5 minutes. The fried rice was quite a large portion! It was a bit bigger than the normal portion in Warabi. The taste was really good! It was not too salty or bland, but just right, and the fat clung to the rice making it delicious. The fried chicken was well seasoned, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside, providing a satisfying meal. However, I started to get a bit tired of the taste towards the end, and I regretted not having white rice with the fried chicken, but I managed to finish it. I really like the flavor of the fried rice, but next time I want to try a different menu item.

Daishintei, first visit. Visited on a business trip and tried the town's Chinese food challenge. Half fried rice for 650 yen and 1 piece of fried chicken for 190 yen. I'm glad I confirmed with the waitress when ordering. The half fried rice had enough volume and I'm satisfied with the portion of the fried chicken. The person next to me ordered a regular fried rice and looked surprised by the portion, it seemed difficult to finish. I will definitely come back, please give it a try!

I landed at Oshinotei, famous for its generous portions! In this day and age, it's truly a blessing for customers to be treated to such a feast. Everything is served in large portions, and the rumored volume is truly satisfying! The fried chicken set with mini ramen for 1200 yen is enough to fill even the biggest eater. I will definitely visit again.

I visited the restaurant "Daisentei" for the first time, which was previously featured on a TV show. It is recommended to visit by car as it may be difficult to walk from hachioji station. Upon arriving around 1 pm, the restaurant was bustling with customers. I chose to sit at the counter as I was dining alone. Daisentei is famous for its large portions. I ordered the "Gyoza set meal" without the large portion option. The set included a small ramen, gyoza, and rice for ¥1,100, with an extra serving of rice. The gyoza was large and packed with vegetables, very delicious. The small ramen was also tasty, with a rich animal-based broth and a good amount of oil. The noodles were the standard medium-thick curly noodles. I thought the restaurant was known for its large portions, but the quality of the food was surprisingly high. The restaurant was filled with locals, which explained the lively atmosphere. I would definitely become a regular if this restaurant was closer. The food was delicious, especially the ramen! Thank you for the meal.
