In the neighborhood, there is a ramen restaurant that specializes in tsukemen (dipping noodles). Although it is a chain restaurant, I had never been there before, so I was curious. I visited before 10:00 PM and there were 8 groups of customers. I was surprised to see this many people at this time. It felt more like dinner than a place to go after drinking! Today, I ordered the rich tonkotsu (pork bone) and seafood tsukemen with seasoned egg and fried chicken as toppings. Some tonkotsu and seafood-based ramen can be too sweet, but this one had the perfect balance for my taste! The noodles were delicious, and the chashu (sliced pork) had a good texture and was tender. The bamboo shoots were firm, and the seasoned egg was just right! They also had garlic, shichimi (seven-spice blend), and bonito salt for flavor variations, which made the meal even more enjoyable!

I had the spicy tsukemen with all the toppings. The soup had a good amount of spiciness and was delicious on a hot day. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were only a few solo diners, so it was easy to get a seat. Inside the restaurant, there is a touch panel ticket machine where you buy your meal ticket, so it might be better for first-timers to decide on their order before entering. They have a wide variety of options and toppings to choose from, so if there's a line behind you, you might feel rushed and end up regretting not trying the limited-time tsukemen that looked delicious.

It's a chain restaurant, but they greet you warmly at this ramen shop. When I go, it's mostly male customers, but there's no intimidating atmosphere! It's a small shop with just a counter. They operate on a ticket system, and you can help yourself to water and paper aprons. The noodles are thick, so there might be a bit of a wait. The normal type of tsukemen is 930 yen. [Toppings] - I want to try them all someday, 360 yen - Seasoned egg, 150 yen - Vegetable topping that the student next to me ordered, 150 yen - Chashu, 150 yen - Menma, 200 yen - Green onions, 100 yen [Rice dishes] - Meat and green onion rice, 350 yen - Green onion rice, 250 yen - White rice, 100 yen - Extra soup, 210 yen They have additional soup in a pot on the counter. If you ever crave tsukemen, this is the place to go!

Today, I visited Mita Seimenjo Ebisu Minami store, a famous tsukemen (dipping noodles) specialty shop located about a 3-minute walk from Ebisu station near the Ebisu Minami intersection. The shop is known for its dedication to providing everyone with satisfaction and happiness. It was opened in May 2009 by MP Kitchen Co., Ltd., with its first shop in Mita and a branch in Hong Kong. They offer a wide range of tsukemen options, as well as crispy and juicy homemade chicken Karaage (fried chicken) and seasonal limited edition tsukemen to cater to a diverse customer base. I visited during lunchtime on a weekday feeling a bit sleepy and lacking appetite due to a hangover, early signs of summer fatigue, and lack of sleep. However, I wanted something quick and easy for lunch. The shop was quite busy, with mostly male customers. I ordered the "Special Rich Tsukemen" for 1050 yen with extra noodles. The tsukemen broth was rich, with a hint of yuzu, and the thick, chewy noodles were satisfying. The toppings included bamboo shoots, boiled egg, chashu (sliced pork), and seaweed. The portion was generous, and I ended up enjoying it all. Overall, the tsukemen was delicious and fulfilling. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since I visited Mita Seimenjo. It was a cold day in Tokyo, almost as cold as Sapporo. I felt like warming up with some spicy tsukemen, so I decided to visit at 12:30 on Saturday. I first purchased a ticket from the vending machine for 1200 yen for the spicy tsukemen. I chose the large portion for free, of course. I also had the option of regular thick noodles or Jiro-style chewy noodles, so I chose the chewy noodles. After handing the ticket to the staff, I waited for a while. The spicy soup with dried fish flavors paired perfectly with the chewy noodles! The soft-boiled egg and large bamboo shoots were also perfect for the tsukemen. I finished off with soup refills. It was a delicious meal!

JR Yamanote Line, Ebisu Station, near the west exit, is where "Mita Seimenjo" is located. It is a 4-5 minute walk from the west exit of JR Yamanote Line, Ebisu Station, and a 1-minute walk from Hibiya Line, Ebisu Station on the Tokyo Metro. The store is located along the main road towards Daikanyama from Ebisu Station. It's conveniently located near Ebisu Station, making it easy to access. Mita Seimenjo also provides thorough employee training, ensuring a reliable dining experience. I personally don't like warm udon noodles. I find it strange why people bother to put delicious cold udon noodles in warm broth and eat it that way. Perhaps it's because boiling udon noodles makes them hot, and it takes effort to cool them down, so maybe people just eat them warm. I once heard a behind-the-scenes story at a famous udon restaurant where they tighten the noodles with cold water before reheating them to serve warm udon to customers. Considering that, Mita Seimenjo's concept is fantastic. They boil the udon noodles, cool them down thoroughly with cold water, and serve them with a rich pork and seafood broth instead of the traditional soy-based broth. The rich pork and seafood broth might not appeal to everyone due to its strong smell, but their ability to cook it well and serve it deliciously is commendable. I ordered the "Rich Fish and Pork Bone Tsukemen, regular size, 880 yen" this time. The "Rich Pork and Fish Broth" soup, cooked slowly to bring out the maximum flavor of pork bone and seafood, is incredibly delicious. The amount of noodles that customers find satisfying varies, so the thick noodles come in sizes from regular to large portions at the same price, which I think is fair. Additionally, the quality of the staff is also good. "Mita Seimenjo is very delicious, so I highly recommend it."

I love Mita Seimenjo. Despite being a seafood-based soup, it is rich and the thickness of the noodles is just right. I especially enjoy the spicy soup. The new miso flavor was also delicious. I am a regular fan. I love it. Thank you for the meal! I will continue to rely on you in the future!

It's been a while since I visited Mita Seimen. This time, I ordered the standard tsukemen with hot noodles. The noodles were smooth and had a great texture. They paired perfectly with the fish-based soup, allowing me to enjoy it more and more as I ate. One of the great things about Mita Seimen is that you can choose the amount of noodles you want, and this time I went with a medium portion. I finished off by warming up with some soup broth. This time, the soup had a nice flavor without becoming too diluted (which tends to happen sometimes). At 880 yen, it's definitely a good deal. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited Mita Seimenjo for the first time in a while. When I passed by the front of the store, I was drawn in by the appreciation festival going on. It had been 6 and a half years since my last visit. At the festival, the popular item, rich tonkotsu seafood dipping noodles, was being offered at a special price of 500 yen instead of the usual 880 yen. You could also change it to spicy, with extra pork fat, or with simmered fish for an additional 110 yen. Customers who visited during this period would receive a free "Mita Mori" (topping with everything) voucher to use after November 25th. I ordered the limited edition extra rich simmered fish dipping noodles in a large size. The thick noodles are mixed with a strong simmered fish flavor. Finally, you pour in the soup to finish it off.

The basic ramen noodles are delicious, but I heard that the thin noodles with salt dipping broth are also tasty, so I will try that next time! The spicy tsukemen I ordered was served with warm soup halfway through, making it delicious until the end. The restaurant provides free paper aprons and hair ties, making it convenient for women. I would like to visit again in the future.

I visited this restaurant in Ebisu while on a work trip. I didn't have much time that day, so I didn't have the chance to look for a place and just walked into this one on the street. I ordered the back fat dipping noodles. Overall, it was delicious in a normal way, but I particularly liked the back fat in the soup. Adding the garlic and seven spice provided at the table made the soup even tastier. The vinegar provided was strong and not very gentle. I would like to try the store-exclusive sea bream dashi salt dipping noodles next time.

Ramen Prince stumbled upon a tsukemen restaurant in Ebisu during dinner time. The shop had a clear and easy-to-spot storefront with a Showa-era artisan atmosphere but a modernized system. The ticket machine was relatively new, and I ordered the "torikara tsukemen." The noodles were thick like udon, with no particular standout feature. The large pieces of fried chicken were quite impressive. The dipping sauce had layers of spicy oil, fish broth, green onions, seaweed, and pork. The spiciness of the sauce made me cough a bit. Finally, I finished the meal by adding hot water to the remaining soup. Thank you for the meal.

It has been a long time since I last visited Mita Seimen. I ordered the tsukemen with a medium serving of noodles (450g). It's great that you can choose the noodle amount for the same price. The soy-based fish-flavored dipping sauce and thick noodles were exactly what you expect from tsukemen. It had been a while since I last had it, but the taste was consistently delicious. I thought 450g of noodles might be too much, but personally, it was just right. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

In August 2021, I visited a chain ramen restaurant located along the busiest street near Ebisu Station West Exit. I ordered the tsukemen for 800 yen, which was half price with a discount coupon. The noodles were smooth and medium straight, while the dipping sauce had a seafood-like flavor. The toppings included chashu, seaweed, bamboo shoots, and green onions. The overall taste was average, not as impressive as popular independent ramen shops. I ordered the large portion, but found the flavor to be lacking and the meal to be just okay. Despite feeling full, I didn't enjoy the meal as much as I had hoped.

They mentioned that it takes time to cook, but they served it smoothly and also gave me negi-meshi. I added some spiciness to the fish powder dipping sauce. It was very delicious! I don't often eat tsukemen, but I was very satisfied.

I felt like eating a hearty meal at Mita Seimenjo after a long time. When I checked the app, I saw they had shrimp dipping noodles, so I had to go. I visited around 11:45 am and purchased the ☆Rich Shrimp Dipping Noodles (medium size) for ¥900, with the option to upsize for free. Paper aprons and water are available next to the ticket machine. The noodles arrived in 7 minutes! The dipping sauce had shrimp powder on top of the seaweed. However, even after mixing, it didn't taste much different from regular spicy dipping noodles, maybe just a hint of shrimp flavor. When I asked for the noodles to be cooked firm, I was told, "We can't do that. They are originally cooked firm." But they weren't firm at all and weren't rinsed with water. I observed the process and saw that they were cooked with the previous customer's noodles, so I understood why they couldn't adjust the firmness. They measured the noodles by grams and sloppily piled them up, making it difficult to finish the slightly slimy (not slippery) noodles. Maybe I should have gone to a different branch, even if it was a bit of a hassle. The soup was limited edition, so that's forgivable, but I trusted the quality of the noodles, which seems to be lacking this time. Thank you for the meal!

At lunchtime, I was quickly seated and the counter was quite dirty with soup splatters. The staff seemed busy, so I cleaned it myself with a paper napkin. The staff were talking amongst themselves in a way that was not very pleasant to witness, whispering and it was unclear if they were talking about the customers or work-related matters. It would be appreciated if there was a bit more consideration for the customers. The shrimp dipping noodles were rich and flavorful, but a little more customer care would be nice!

I was hungry and short on time, so I decided to visit this place nearby. I didn't have high expectations since it felt like a chain restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion and the delicious tsukemen soup. I was satisfied with the meal and will definitely stop by again when I'm in Ebisu!

I was drawn to the sign outside the shop that said "Fried Chicken Festival" at Mita Seimenjo, so I decided to try their dipping noodles with 7 pieces of fried chicken (priced at 480 yen for 4 pieces but I accidentally pressed for 7 pieces). Since they won an award at the East Japan Karaage Grand Prix, I assumed their fried chicken must be delicious. And indeed, the freshly fried chicken was delicious, with crispy skin and juicy meat. The dipping noodles were a classic bonito soy sauce broth, with a regular portion size, not too spicy but just right with a sprinkle of chili flakes. The fried chicken bonus offer is limited time only and is a great deal for those who enjoy hearty meals.

While riding my bike, I suddenly felt like having tsukemen... (laughs) So I headed to "Mita Seimenjo" in Ebisu. I ordered the seasonal "Rich Fish Miso Tsukemen" (960 yen). I prefer my tsukemen cold even in winter. The base is the classic tonkotsu and fish broth soup. The rich miso and a hint of pork fat create a strong and flavorful taste. The smooth noodles, plenty of bean sprouts and cabbage complement the miso soup perfectly. I skipped the ginger and garlic on the side because it was lunchtime and I didn't want to worry about my breath (laughs). While the basic tsukemen is good, this seasonal one is also worth a try.
