Toyosu Market's wholesaler "Tsukiji Sandai" operates a direct store. They offer a variety of fresh oysters from all over Japan, allowing you to compare the taste of oysters from different regions. In the summer, they serve giant rock oysters, while in the winter, you can enjoy rich and flavorful true oysters. They offer a range of oyster dishes throughout the year that highlight the freshness of the ingredients. The most popular item on the menu is the daily changing oyster set, available in 3-piece or 2-piece sets. It is a great deal, costing about 100-200 yen less than ordering individual items. I tried all the sets, and they were all incredibly delicious. Each oyster has its own unique flavor when eaten raw, and you can also enjoy them grilled with options like salt-grilling (+50 yen), miso butter grilling (+100 yen), or cheese grilling (+100 yen). The texture and flavor of the grilled oysters are amazing. The quality and cost-effectiveness of this place, being a direct wholesaler, make it a highly recommended spot for oyster lovers!

The restaurant opens at 3:00 pm, but it gets full quickly. It's best to go at 3:00 pm to avoid missing out! I ordered the C set (oyster set) which included Kajiura rock oysters, Onagawa rock oysters, Kashimanada rock oysters, grilled oysters from Kashimanada, cheese gratin from Konbumori, and bouillabaisse soup curry made with natural seafood broth. I started with the main oyster set. I tried the Kajiura, Onagawa, and Kashimanada oysters in order of size, and I found that the bigger ones were actually more flavorful. The Kajiura oysters had a strong ocean taste that was amazing! The flavor of the oysters wasn't overpowered by the strong ocean taste. The Onagawa and Kashimanada oysters were good too, but on that day, the Kajiura oysters were particularly delicious. The creamy texture of the grilled oysters and the unexpected deliciousness of the cheese gratin really appealed to me. The curry rice at the end was also very tasty. It had a strong shrimp flavor, but if that was oyster broth, it would have been amazing! It was a feast of oysters and it was very delicious! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

It had been a while since I went to "Chika no Iki" to eat oysters. The restaurant doesn't take reservations, so we went on the day. They open at 3 pm, but my friend arrived early and we managed to secure a table inside. We ordered a bottle of white wine right away, and the wine glasses here are like cups, so it's easy to keep drinking. We had the following oysters:
- Motox Feudo Arancio Inzolia 3,480 yen
- Set A of fresh oysters 1,500 yen (Oita, Hokkaido, Tokushima)
- Set B of fresh oysters 1,500 yen (Hyogo, Hokkaido, Miyagi)
The oysters were delicious, especially the Tokushima one which was very rich and creamy. We also had a bottle of Domaine Paul Mas Viognier Chardonnay for 4,780 yen. We finished two bottles in no time, along with some side dishes like salted pufferfish ovaries and oyster and cream cheese pate. We had a great time and the bill for two of us came to just over 15,000 yen. The restaurant is cash only, but there's a convenience store ATM nearby.

Due to the overlap of things like COVID, I hadn't been able to go for a while, but I had some time to spare on my way to the eel restaurant, so I decided to stop by. It's located on the basement floor of a building, and next to it was a standing sushi bar called Akira, so I peeked in, although it was a different chef. By the way, the chef at Akira used to run Sushiryunosho in Shirogane, and I remembered that we were connected on LINE. There were various items available individually, but I ordered two sets along with a glass of white wine. Maruemon reminded me of when my daughter and I went to eat in Akkeshi, Hokkaido last year. The second dish from Hyogo's Murotsu had a mild saltiness, making it easy to eat.

It's around 3:00 pm on a regular day. This is a small shop in the basement of a building. The atmosphere is simple and minimalistic, with tables, standing counters, and a concise menu. The menu consists of two types of fresh oysters, three types of regular oysters, and a few other appetizers. The drinks are reasonably priced, including beer and wine. The oysters are all fresh and have distinct flavors, some being light and others creamy. They were so fresh that I only needed to eat them with lemon. I also tried the oyster ajillo, which had a rich oyster essence and was delicious. The bread served as a side was large and filling. The seating is limited, so it tends to fill up quickly. Since the menu is focused on oysters, there were regular customers looking forward to today's oysters. With reasonable prices and fresh oysters, this place is recommended for oyster lovers.

"Chika no Iki" is a delicious oyster bar in Tsukiji that is rumored to be good. The restaurant is not very spacious and has many female customers. All the oysters are fresh, reasonably priced, and delicious. They also offer grilled oysters. Rarely working in Tsukiji, finished work a little early at 4 pm today. Was invited for a meal by a customer, and chose to indulge in the rare oysters that I've been craving. Selected the underground Izumi-san, who was flagged in an inspection. Upon entering, noticed there were already customers inside. Looking at the menu, 90% of it was oysters, confirming it was a top-notch restaurant. Today's oysters were set options, and I struggled to decide which one to choose for about 10 minutes. Opted for the largest rock oyster, a luxurious choice that I couldn't finish in just three bites (see photo). I couldn't help but get excited like a child over the size. Spent the next hour and a half savoring the oysters and wine. Promised to revisit in late October. Left the restaurant feeling satisfied.

I can only say the best... I was worried about the crowds right after Obon, but there were no crowds, and I enjoyed oysters from start to finish! We arrived after 7 pm, tried everything, and ended up staying until the end, haha. Anyway, my concept of raw oysters has changed! They are too delicious! I will definitely go again!

From the past, whether it's winter or summer, this place is always a must. I always go for a set of fresh rock oysters, Junmai Ginjo sake, and a highball to finish. On this day, I tried A set with natural rock oysters from Maizuru, Akkeshi, and Onagawa; B set with kombu-infused sake from Kunbu Mori and Itoshima Sound; and C set with Diamond sake from Murotsu and natural rock oysters from Obama Bay. They were all fresh as usual, but the ones that left a strong impression were Itoshima Sound and Obama. Itoshima Sound was creamy and highly recommended. Obama had a smaller size compared to winter oysters, but they had a big ocean flavor. See you again soon.

The oysters were so big that I thought I might drown in them! It was great to be able to compare different types, and they were incredibly delicious! I only had four oysters because I had plans to visit another restaurant, but I would love to try other items next time.

The live oysters are definitely of the highest quality in Tokyo, and the prices are incredibly cheap! Two large rock oysters that are difficult to eat in one bite cost only 2100 yen. Is the restaurant okay with that price? There are only about 10 dishes on the menu besides the live oysters, but they are all fantastic. Especially the bouillabaisse curry, with the aroma of grilled and crushed shrimp shells combined with the rich shrimp miso flavor, is of a high-quality French level. On the other hand, the counter on the first floor has minimal decoration and doesn't seem to have cost much money. The two staff members seem to be working very hard. The labor costs are probably kept to a minimum. I love such a straightforward restaurant that puts all its focus on ingredients and flavors. I forgot to take photos, but the seafood salad, buttered clams, and cheese bake were all excellent.

I wanted to eat the fresh oysters here, so after my weekly real office visit, I took a bus from Toyosu to Tsukiji by myself. I ordered a draft beer, 2 cups of sake, and the oyster tasting set A B C. Each oyster had its own unique flavor, making it difficult to choose the best one. However, in terms of value, the Ise-Shima oyster may have been the best with its perfect balance of saltiness, creaminess, and size. Maybe because I ate a lot of fresh oysters in a short time by myself, I was happy to receive a complimentary oyster. The natural rock oysters from Kashima-nada were also enjoyable as they went well with sake. All of the oysters were of high quality, so I recommend trying the tasting set! The only downside was that they only accepted cash for payment. Overall, I was very satisfied! This is a must-visit for oyster lovers, I will definitely be coming back!

The menu consisted of oysters, some side dishes, and drinks only! We indulged in the luxurious A set and B set, which featured the recommended oysters of the day. Instead of devouring them all at once, we savored each one. My favorite was the oysters from Oofunato! I would love to visit again when they have a different type of oyster. The enagawa yukke we ordered as a side dish was also delicious!

I love oysters, so when I searched for oysters on Tabelog, I nervously visited this place ranked first. It was a oyster lover's dream with oysters in every dish on the menu! The oysters were incredibly large, unlike any I had seen before, but they were not overpowering and had a milky taste that was very delicious! I will definitely visit again!

I visited the restaurant on Tuesday at 3:03 PM. Even though it opens at 3 PM, I was the last one to get a seat. I had the 5300 yen set of fresh oysters A, B, C, and a glass of Murotsu sake. Almost everything was incredibly delicious, especially the rich and creamy oysters like Kanatsu and Mangokuura. Check their Instagram story archive for discounts! The basement shop opens at 3 PM, while the ground floor shop opens at 4 PM. Don't get confused! Rating: 4.5 stars - I would make time to visit with loved ones. 4 stars - I would visit regularly if it were nearby. 3.5 stars - I had a great time. 3 stars - Neither good nor bad. 2.5 stars - Some negatives.

I used this restaurant once last year and it was the best oyster I have ever had personally, so I used it again. If I had to rate the first time I used it, it would be 5 stars, but this time I would lower the rating slightly to 3.5 stars... The oysters were still large and satisfying to eat, but the taste was a bit weak or lacking. However, this restaurant is still my best oyster place personally, so I hope to use it again when the time is right.

I found a highly popular oyster restaurant after a long time. I would like to give it a higher rating, but it's already crowded enough... It's a super popular restaurant. You can easily go in and enjoy some delicious oysters. It's amazing. The cost performance is also good. Thank you for the meal.

The long-awaited Iku-san in the basement ❤️ The large oysters are the best, with big, creamy grains that are not overpowering ❤️ The oyster set has many different types, offering great value for money ❤️ The one-coin snacks were also delicious and satisfying ✨ #rachel_gourmet #TokyoGourmet #TsukijiGourmet #oyster #rawoyster #oyster #ramen #beer #sake #engawa #foodie #connectwithfoodielovers #Iku in the basement #rockoyster #생굴

Saturday evening visit. I found myself in a building with a lot of standing and eating spots on the B1 floor, and when I thought there would be a long wait, I realized there was a standing sushi restaurant next door. However, there were only 3 counter seats and 3 table sets in a secluded space at the back. Luckily, it was full. I ordered a set of 3 oysters from different regions for 1400 yen and a glass of wine. I also asked for the oysters from Hyogo to be grilled for an additional 50 yen. Within 5 minutes, the wine and raw oysters arrived. I squeezed some lemon over the oysters from Unzen and had a bite. It was blissful. The wine paired perfectly with it. Next, I tried the oysters from Iwate, dividing them into several bites. The part near the shell had a taste of the sea and a unique texture, while the meaty part was creamy and rich. After taking a short break, the grilled oysters arrived. I drizzled some ponzu sauce over them. The sweetness of the oysters was enhanced by this. It was also delicious. This place had all the necessary elements to fully enjoy oysters. I was able to savor the oysters efficiently. Thank you for the meal.

Located right next to Tsukiji Market, the underground shop was always packed with customers coming in non-stop. I started with the pate! Spread it on crackers, and you can eat as much as you want. The best snack!! The three types of oysters recommended today are all delicious! They are so creamy and smooth that you can eat as much as you want. When you order the three types, you can mix both raw and grilled oysters. This time I only had raw oysters, so next time I want to try the grilled ones too. Thank you for the meal!

I entered the restaurant around 7:30 pm and was recommended to move from the counter to a table. Despite the small size of the place, the oysters were exceptionally delicious compared to other restaurants. They offered a variety of oysters, from refreshing to rich flavors, and I tried some large rock oysters as well. If you're craving oysters, this is a must-visit place! Highly recommended!
