On this day, I had a medical check-up at Akasaka Sanno Medical Center in Akasaka Mitsuke. Lunch was included at "Restaurant Orb" located inside the neighboring International University of Health and Welfare building (current Tabelog rating 3.04). To get there, I took escalators from the G floor to the 1st floor, and then to the 2nd floor, passing through the student cafeteria. The appetizer, "Salade Nicoise," had a good anchovy flavor, although the vegetables were chopped too finely making it a bit difficult to handle, but overall it was delicious. The next dish, "Edamame Potage Soup," had a nice aroma and flavor, but the portion served was disappointingly small, just a tiny bit at the bottom of the cup. The highlight was the main dish, "Duck Leg Confit," which was very tender and well-seasoned, with an exquisite texture and taste. It's impressive to find such quality dishes being served within a university. Lastly, for dessert, I had a total of 4 servings of "Melt-in-your-mouth Pudding." Although the setting was special and may differ from regular use, the restaurant had a slightly cheap cafeteria-like atmosphere, and the overall portion was a bit small. Despite that, it's a recommended restaurant for serving high-quality French cuisine.

This is a restaurant located within the International University of Health and Welfare in Akasaka. It seems like people who have had a medical check-up are using it. It is also open to the general public. I ordered the Pork Ginger. It comes with salad and a mini soup. It's delicious - the Pork Ginger has thick meat, similar to tonkatsu! The flavor is strong and satisfying. The place is spacious and relaxing, highly recommended.

Today, I came to the International Medical Welfare University Hospital for a health check-up. This university may have an unfamiliar name, but it is a private university with a rapidly growing medical department. I heard that they incorporate advanced medical practices into their curriculum and have a special student quota, leading to intense competition for those spots. After the health check-up, I couldn't help but enjoy a fantastic lunch. I might come back here for my check-up next year. There is a restaurant called "Orb" on the 2nd floor of the International University of Health and Welfare's Akasaka campus, which opened in April 2018. It is open to the public and has a cafeteria with over 200 seats. The restaurant itself has a chic and calm interior, with tables arranged in a school-like manner. The menu includes various dishes such as Chicken Auber Rice, Salmon Saute with Ravigote Sauce, Chef's Special Black Pepper Sauce Hamburg, and more. I ordered the Chicken Auber Rice, which came with soup, pickles, and a mini dessert. The dish was a unique combination of rice, lettuce, fried egg, and chili sauce. The presentation was impressive, and the flavors were well-balanced. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

The meals that come with the human dock are well-prepared Western course meals with a slight Japanese touch, easy to eat and delicious. The menu seems to be the same every autumn when I always undergo the check-up.

There is a shop inside the International University of Health and Welfare. It may be difficult to enter if you are not familiar with it, as it is located in a building with security guards. I chose the fish option for lunch, but regretted not choosing the White Beef Stew as the fish foil bake was not great. The appetizer was a visually appealing crab and Chinese cabbage mille-feuille, but the taste was just average. It wasn't bad, but it didn't feel like a full course meal.
