Today's lunch was at Hidakaya Asakusabashi branch. I had the vegetable-packed Tanmen for 570 yen. It was a late lunch, almost snack time. After finishing the meal, it felt like I would be off work in 30 minutes. Death.

First day at Takaya Izakaya. In any case, it's cheap. A good deal. The format of ordering garlic tempura, gyoza, yakitori, and beer is unique, using a touch pen. I don't understand how it works, but when you click on the menu, the pen talks, so you press the quantity and place the order.

During the first three days of the New Year, only a few shops are open. When we were out and feeling hungry, we were grateful to find Hidakaya open, so my daughter and I visited for the first time. We had fried rice for 480 yen and spicy tonkotsu negi ramen for 630 yen (the negi and ramen were served separately). It was a lifesaver. Thank you. It was delicious.

When ranking based on the number of times eaten, the second most frequented restaurant after Ichiran is Hidakaya's "Chige Miso Ramen." The reasons for eating it so often can be self-analyzed as follows: - Hidakaya is located everywhere, including near the nearest station - It is cheap yet delicious - You can turn it into "Ojiya" by adding rice after finishing the ramen Especially the third reason, "Ojiya," perfectly matched my desire for "quantity" in my younger days. Additionally, they always give a coupon for free rice at the time of payment. I visited the Asakusabashi store for the first time. I went there around 18:30 on a weekday. There were about 5 customers before me. - Chige Miso Ramen Half Fried Rice Set ¥890 It's been a while since I had Chige Miso Ramen. It's spicy. The noodles are rectangular in shape with a flat cross-section. They are smooth, stretchy, and have a strong elasticity. The toppings include kimchi, leeks, eggs, pork, and plenty of onions. Although it may have faded a bit compared to other delicious ramen I've had, I still enjoyed its high cost performance. The fried rice is delicious with plenty of char siu.

Actually, I have never used Hidakaya before. Influenced by JobTune, I felt the need to experience Chen rice as well, so I went to Hidakaya for breakfast. Even though it's 10 o'clock. I ordered the Black Vinegar Soy Sauce Cold Noodle with Gyoza Set (760 yen). The Black Vinegar Soy Sauce Cold Noodle comes with the toppings and noodles served separately. I think the toppings are served separately to save on presentation time. The thin noodles have a good chewiness and a cold noodle-like texture, and they were tastier than I expected. The toppings included pressed ham, egg, seaweed, and cucumber, and had a taste reminiscent of a local Chinese restaurant. The gyoza had hardly any vegetables, but they were quite flavorful, so they tasted just right when eaten with vinegar and pepper. By the time I finished eating, I felt incredibly thirsty and gulped down some water. I realized that it was indeed full of umami flavor.

I went to Hidakaya over 10 years ago and the fried chicken wasn't tasty, so I haven't been back since. However, my boss suggested going, so I revisited after more than a decade. I decided to try a different menu item this time, opting for the "Chinese noodles and half-fried rice set." The dumplings were also delicious with a normal taste. If I have the chance, I would like to go back again.

Hidakaya is a conveniently located restaurant near the station, making it easy to drop by. It's great for casually having a set meal during lunchtime. In my younger days, I used to eat Yoshinoya's beef bowl before going out drinking, but nowadays there are more options and it's easy to find a place to eat. I love offal, so the crispy texture of bean sprouts in the liver and garlic chives stir-fry along with the taste of liver is amazing. It felt like having a hoppy drink during lunch, but I have plans later and have to wait until evening. Lately, I've been using it more like an izakaya. They also have light drinking menu options, which are wallet-friendly, and it's a place you can easily drop by anytime.

This is a nationwide chain restaurant that mainly serves Chinese cuisine, but you may not have seen it in Kyushu. It is a 24-hour establishment, so it is very convenient to use! It may serve dishes similar to Osho. This was my first visit to the Asakusabashi branch of "Nichigaya" in Tokyo. The location is excellent, just a 1-minute walk from Asakusabashi Station East Exit. Inside the restaurant, there is a long layout with a counter in the front and table seating at the back. The capacity is 42 people. The menu offers a variety of dishes, with prices like 390 yen for Chinese noodles and 230 yen for 6 dumplings. I ordered a yakitori rice bowl with dumplings and spring rolls. The soup tasted like instant ramen, with a strong sesame oil flavor. The noodles were good, with a light wavy texture. The chashu was dry and the gyoza was mediocre. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside but cold inside. Overall, the meal was below average, but the prices were reasonable. I may visit again in the future, but it was not a memorable experience.

This restaurant, Hidakaya Asakusabashi branch, offers Chinese noodles, gyoza, grilled chicken rice bowl, and draft beer. The draft beer is great to enjoy from the early evening. Ordering the Chinese noodles, gyoza, and grilled chicken rice bowl as a set comes with a slight discount, which is nice. Additionally, you can get a service coupon every time, which allows you to get a free extra-large portion of noodles. If you feel like having some ramen with a drink at a reasonable price, why not visit a nearby Hidakaya branch?

This time, the restaurant is Hidakaya Asakusabashi branch. I ordered Chinese rice bowl, a set of three dishes, and draft beer. I stopped by after watching the musical "The Prince of Tennis Autumn Sports Festival 2019" and felt like having a drink on the way home. A beer after watching a show is always nice. If you feel like having a drink at Hidakaya, why not visit the nearest branch?

The restaurant we visited this time is Hidakaya Asakusabashi branch. We ordered the W Gyoza set, which includes everyone's favorite Hidakaya gyoza. It's nice to have some drinks in the afternoon. When you want to eat a good amount of gyoza and drink alcohol at a reasonable price, why not visit the nearby Hidakaya?

This time, I visited Hidaka-ya Asakusabashi branch and ordered a vegetable-packed Tanmen, half Cha-han, and Gyoza set. I was quite hungry, so I used a service voucher to make the noodles extra large. I went there at a relatively late hour, and it was a bit noisy due to the second rounds of drinks for drunk customers. Nevertheless, the staff worked efficiently, which was impressive.

This time, I visited Hidaka-ya Asakusabashi branch and ordered the Gomoku Ankake Ramen and a set of 3 gyoza. Ankake ramen is delicious, with plenty of vegetables. When you feel like having gyoza but 6 pieces seem too much, the 3-piece menu here is just right. Plus, ordering it as a set saves you 20 yen compared to ordering them separately.

Yesterday's lunch was at "Hidaka-ya" in front of Asakusabashi Station. I decided to go there because of this coupon (photo 2) that I received with a flyer that came in the mail a while ago. I arrived around 1 pm, a bit after the usual lunch rush, and there were still quite a few customers. About 40% of the seats were taken. I handed in the coupon and ordered the fried rice with extra serving. The fried rice arrived in about 3 minutes, followed by the dumplings in another 2-3 minutes (photo 3). I'm not a big fan of ramen, so I had decided on fried rice from the start, and I went for the extra serving. Scooping up a huge spoonful with the ladle, putting it in my mouth, and savoring the taste is pure bliss! The dumplings were also consistently delicious, typical of a chain restaurant. In the end, I only paid ¥540 (tax included) for the extra serving of fried rice. Thank you for the meal. The end.

Today's lunch 2 is here at Hidakaya Asakusabashi branch. I couldn't fill up my stomach with just steak, so I also ordered Black Vinegar Soy Sauce Cold Noodles (extra large) and Chinese Rice Bowl. Since it's summer, I wanted something refreshing like cold noodles, and to complement that, I got the Chinese Rice Bowl. It was perfect. Hidakaya never disappoints. It was delicious.

This restaurant is Hidakaya Asakusabashi in the Kanto region. I ordered the La-gyo-chase set this time, which includes half ramen, half fried rice, and 3 gyoza for 550 yen. You also get a free large serving ticket every time, so it's a good deal if you want to eat a lot of ramen cheaply. They also offer reasonably priced drinks, so having a drinking session at Hidakaya is also a good idea.

I had to work on Sunday and was running late for lunch, so I ended up getting a half portion ramen from Nichihaoya. I don't mind safe flavors, but it felt quite expensive at 630 yen. I always thought it was ridiculously cheap. ( *3* )

Tianjin rice and dumplings. Tianjin rice has a sauce with a slightly strong sour taste, similar to ketchup. Everything is cheap, around the price of one coin! It looks like a fun place for a cheap drink and meal!

The planned morning soba shop lost two times in a row. Both were not open. One of them had closed down. Thanks to the coronavirus, right? Some shops are temporarily changing their operating hours, but some are forced to close down because they can't handle it. Tobacco is bad for your health, so they're cutting it off. They're raising taxes. They're saying that the coronavirus will lead to a collapse of the medical system, so they should avoid going out and avoid crowded places. I understand, but what about the people working in the tobacco leaf production or related companies? Are they not guaranteed anything? In the future, alcohol is bad for your health, so let's raise taxes even more. Let's cut back on drinking. Will they make a big change like they did with tobacco? Things that were popular in the past will inevitably be replaced by new products. They won't last forever. I understand that in my mind, but I'm still having a hard time accepting the impact on my favorite genre right now. I'm feeling quite anxious about the next plan. What should I do? So, I decided to visit the reliable "Hidaka-ya" restaurant. They provide excellent service in foreign languages and cooking. I appreciate it. On the table, there are black pepper, vinegar, soy sauce, chili oil, toothpicks, disposable chopsticks, and paper napkins. There's no water pitcher. (There was only one on the table next to me.) I rang the bell and ordered the Tanmen noodles. I wonder if the current limited-time special is the "Shrimp Salt" flavor? I remember there was a "Omiya Dan Dan Noodles" in the Tokyo store. As I was lost in thought, the ramen arrived. The hot ingredients are delicious. I don't have much time, so I quickly enjoy the hot noodles. Yes, it's just the right amount of noodles for a morning meal. It's really convenient.

I used it for a second party with one person. It is cost-effective when you want to drink a little more. There are various items on the half menu, and the total cost for this order was around 800 yen.
