Yesterday, I stayed at a business hotel near Akasaka-Mitsuke Station. In the morning, I went to Ueshima Coffee for breakfast. I ordered the following: Morning Croque Monsieur Set for 860 yen (tax included). It's a good deal because you can earn dPoints. The croque monsieur was freshly baked and hot. The cheese was stretchy and delicious. The spacious seating inside the cafe allowed me to relax and enjoy my meal. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed at OMO3 Akasaka and had breakfast at the café "Ueshima Coffee Shop Akasaka Hitotsugi-dori Store" located on the first floor of the hotel. I chose the Bacon & Dashi Scrambled Eggs Thick Butter Toast Set. The toast was just the right size, not too big. The scrambled eggs with dashi were fluffy and delicious. I enjoyed having a simple breakfast like this. The bright atmosphere of the café made the dining experience even better. There is an exclusive entrance for hotel guests to use from inside the building as well as from outside.

I used it as a quick snack before ballet. I had unsweetened milk tea and French toast. Unsweetened milk tea seems like something you wouldn't find at a typical cafe, right? The fact that the French toast wasn't sweet was great. It came with what looked like maple syrup, but it was sweet enough on its own so I didn't use it. Eating a heavy meal before ballet can make you feel uncomfortable, so the moderate portion was perfect. I'm currently exploring light snacks or meals before ballet!

I decided to skip soba this time and try out "Ueshima Coffee Shop" on Ichigodori in Akasaka for breakfast. The café seemed stylish with a terrace, and I had always thought about checking it out. The prices at the counter seemed a bit high, especially for the sandwiches. I ordered the Grilled Nasu Cheese and Bacon Tomato with a hot coffee, and although it was tasty, the portion size was compact. The coffee was good but a bit lukewarm for my liking. Overall, it was a nice experience, but I found it a bit pricey for what I got.

I went to the stylish UCC Cafe on the 1st floor of OMO3 Akasaka for breakfast, and had a chicken sandwich and a milk coffee (black sugar). The black sugar milk coffee had a perfect balance of coffee and black sugar, making it the best morning coffee.

Clockmushijima Coffee Shop is a bit pricey, but I love the atmosphere. I felt like going there after a long time, so I woke up early on a weekday and went. I had the Clockmush Morning Set with a hot unsweetened milk coffee. It's about double the price of Saint Marc. It was spacious and quiet, perfect for reading leisurely. Now, let's do our best today. I had a good morning time.

I found the restaurant, Ueshima Coffee Shop, located a 5-minute walk from the theater where the afternoon performance of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" was held. The shop is spacious with various types of seats to choose from. I ordered a simple blend coffee, brewed with a Nel pot. The coffee mug had a thinner rim compared to typical coffee mugs. I could self-serve water. I also had a chocolate madeleine which had a fluffy texture and paired perfectly with the coffee. In the evening, the shop was lit up beautifully, complementing the surroundings. The menu seemed extensive, so I would like to visit other branches in the future.

I enjoy having breakfast in the morning, and since I often travel around Tokyo, I have become conscious of train fares. I originally planned to have breakfast at a curry restaurant in Yotsuya, so I took the Marunouchi Line from Shinjuku. However, I soon realized that it would be cheaper to take the JR line to Yotsuya instead. So, I decided to get off at Akasaka-Mitsuke instead. I went to a Chinese tea house called China Chabo 8, where they used to have breakfast menus at each location. However, due to the pandemic, they had to shorten their operating hours and stopped serving breakfast. After the pandemic, they resumed 24-hour operations, but only the Akasaka branch brought back the breakfast menu. Unfortunately, I found out that they had stopped serving breakfast there as well. I then went to a coffee shop called Ueshima Coffee Shop on Ichiboku-dori in Akasaka, which used to offer a special breakfast for 1,620 yen before it was discontinued. I ordered a breakfast set with bacon, scrambled eggs with dashi, and thick buttered toast with unsweetened milk coffee. I paid using PayPay and received a small tray with a coffee cup and a vibrating electronic device. I connected to the WiFi and found out that the coffee shop was now under Hoshino Resorts as OMO3 Tokyo Akasaka, instead of Hotel Vista. I learned that Hotel Vista Management had filed for civil rehabilitation in March 2021 due to the impact of the pandemic and the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics. The coffee shop was now being supported by Yamasa Corporation, a company that manufactures pachislot machines in Okayama. I enjoyed my breakfast amidst these unexpected revelations.

I visited Ueshima Coffee, which is a participating store in the Minatoku Points Reduction Campaign offering a 20% discount. The location is great and despite the high land prices, the store is very spacious and comfortable! As a result, the menu is on the pricier side - a regular size milk coffee with homemade chocolate costs 710 yen including tax, and French toast costs 550 yen including tax. I spent some time relaxing and reading in the comfortable space.

2023.01.21 (Day 2) Tokyo Tabelog Travel Part 3-4: "OMO3 Tokyo Akasaka by Hoshino Resorts" marked the start of the second day in Tokyo. For breakfast at 8 am, I headed to "Ujishima Coffee Akasaka Hitotsugi-dori Store" on the 1st floor of the hotel. I ordered the Special Morning Set (included in the accommodation fee) which consisted of Grilled Cheese and Bacon Tomato Set for 1000 yen, a hot sandwich with sprouted bread, and a hot coffee. I chose the "Grilled Cheese and Bacon Tomato Hot Sandwich" from 6 different morning sets available for hotel guests. It was a delicious sandwich with grilled cheese, bacon, tomato, and tomato sauce sandwiched between sprouted bread. The atmosphere of the coffee shop was nice and spacious, suitable not only for hotel guests but also for nearby office workers. Regarding my review of "OMO3 Tokyo Akasaka" in Part 3, since the hotel does not have dining facilities, the restaurant listing will be removed, and I decided to copy the review here as this platform also serves as my diary. The hotel I stayed at is "OMO3 Tokyo Akasaka by Hoshino Resorts," a city-type tourist hotel opened on February 25, 2022. The concept of the OMO series is to elevate the travel experience beyond just sleeping, focusing on urban tourism. I booked a Twin Room with breakfast included for 8300 yen each, which was a great deal considering the location in Akasaka Mitsuke. The room was a bit small but very clean, perfect for using as a base for sightseeing. I arrived at the hotel around 5 pm after leaving Osaka at 2 pm. After dropping off my luggage, I bought some sweets for supper at a long-established Western confectionery store nearby. For dinner, I enjoyed Korean royal cuisine at "Wakasa" along the Meguro River and returned to the hotel around 9 pm. The next morning, I had breakfast at "Ujishima Coffee Akasaka Hitotsugi-dori Store" on the 1st floor of the hotel. I chose the Grilled Cheese and Bacon Tomato Set from the exclusive morning menu for guests, along with a hot coffee. The sandwich was just the right amount for a light breakfast before heading to a Japanese cuisine restaurant, "Ginza Kitagawa," for lunch. The taste was decent, nothing extraordinary, but simply delicious! I checked out of the hotel before 10 am and headed to Ginza for lunch. However, I changed my return Shinkansen ticket at JR Shinbashi Station to stay an extra night because I had made a reservation for a cake set at "Patisserie Caravanserail" in Iidabashi for 1 pm on Sunday. When I made the reservation for this hotel, there was no national travel support, but it resumed in mid-January, so I also booked "OMO7 Osaka" for early February. I am excited about experiencing the vibrant city of Osaka. Bon appétit!

I stayed at a hotel on the first floor, so I stopped by for breakfast. Toast, eggs, and bacon are a classic Western breakfast. The eggs had a nice broth flavor! It was delicious, but I wished it had a bit more of an impact. Well, the coffee was delicious.

I usually don't post about chain restaurants unless they leave a lasting impression, but I thought I'd share this as a potential "meeting spot option." I'm thinking about where to have a one-hour meeting in Akasaka... I don't want the tables to be too close together, or the restaurant to be small with the next customer waiting, or the staff to be too attentive. This place in the heart of Akasaka has a spacious, bright, and clean interior, and is basically a "leave-you-alone" type of place, so you can spend your time at your own pace. It wouldn't be polite to linger too long and inconvenience the restaurant, but it seems perfect for a one-hour meeting. A cup of coffee is 540 yen, which is reasonable when you consider the overall experience. It's a potential candidate for a meeting spot.

OMO3 Tokyo Akasaka, a casual Hoshino Resort. I live in the Kanto region and was intrigued by the concept, so I decided to stay. I wanted to try the guest-only menu at Ujishima Coffee. It was early, but about 70% of the seats were taken, so it may be full during peak hours. The sandwich was delicious without any fishy taste, but for around 1,200 yen, I expected a bit more volume. The unsweetened milk coffee was consistently delicious. Considering it as a business hotel, I would recommend it as the place is spacious and clean.

I tried a limited-time milk coffee with cherry blossom syrup and Japanese three honey blend. The seating arrangement allows for a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space between tables, but the lack of acrylic dividers for infection prevention can make dining at large tables a bit distracting. As for the coffee, it had a fruity and elegant aroma with just one sip.

There is a shop on the first floor of a hotel along Akasaka Ichigokudo Street. I stopped by on a slightly chilly weekday night in March. As the night fell, the stylish, modern, and calm atmosphere inside was very lovely. There were few customers, so it was relaxed. I had the regular size Ice Black Sugar Milk Coffee (tax included 590 yen). It's my favorite menu at Ueshima Coffee. The balance of black sugar, milk, and coffee flavors is exquisite and wonderful. The taste and deliciousness that never get tired of no matter how many times you drink it is almost divine. The pleasant aftertaste that spreads in your mouth after drinking it is indescribable. I was thinking about such things while staring at Ichigokudo Street in front of the store. I look forward to enjoying it again somewhere. Thank you for the meal!

I went to Ueshima Coffee Shop on Hitotsugi-dori Street in Akasaka to kill some time. I decided to have a coffee, but whether to have it hot or iced depended on my mood and the weather. I looked at the menu and noticed that the iced coffee was 20 yen more expensive, so I ordered a hot blend coffee for 500 yen. Decent cafes usually offer free Wi-Fi, so I didn't have to use my iPhone's data. I watched some videos and now it's time to go.

On the weekend, I went to Akasaka for a drink. I had some errands to run in the area, so I decided to take a break at "Ueshima Coffee Shop" since I had some time to spare. Today, I ordered the Seikei Orange Gelato Soda. It was delicious with the gelato in it, and I enjoyed crushing it up and savoring it. I relaxed while sipping on the cold drink.

I found a dish that seemed just right for lunch when I didn't particularly want anything in particular. I hesitated about the mayonnaise in the coleslaw, but it wasn't heavy in texture or quantity, so it was easy to eat. It pairs well with a rather bitter coffee. It's good for when you want to put something in your mouth even if you're not very hungry.

The drinks were good, but honestly, the cake was not tasty. I have a sweet tooth, but the strange sweetness made my stomach feel heavy and uncomfortable, and the dry sponge was unbearable. I think I'll stick to just having drinks at Uejima Coffee.
