There is a wonderful teppanyaki restaurant called Grow located less than a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Crossing. This time, I visited them for their ultimate course. The main dish was Chateaubriand, made from carefully selected A5 grade Wagyu beef, served with seared sushi and a delicious wasabi blend. The appetizer, Ichibo's kombu-zuke, had a delicate and elegant flavor. The dish of the day, Jomino's yudofu, was accompanied by a fragrant karashi daikon and had a nice touch of sansho leaves. The Wagyu beef Danish burger was exquisite, with a unique texture from using Danish bread. The foie gras sauté was rich and flavorful, and the abalone and Ise ebi teppanyaki platter was luxurious, served with a tapenade sauce made from anchovies and black olives. The Wagyu beef suimono was refined and comforting, reminiscent of a New Year's taste. The highlight was the premium A5 grade Wagyu steak (Chateaubriand) served with foam soy sauce, garlic chips, and rock salt. It was perfectly cooked and paired well with the accompaniments. The Grow-style garlic rice was delicious, served in a generous portion, and the dessert, almond jelly, was impressive with a balanced sweetness. From start to finish, the meal was delicious, enjoyable, and exceptional. Many people celebrate special occasions at this restaurant, so I highly recommend you to visit as well!

This was our first "Alcohol OK Dinner" since last Christmas. We chose the Roppongi branch of "grow", which has three locations in Tokyo, due to its convenient location. We ordered the "Ultimate Course" and started our dinner. My partner had beer while I, unable to drink alcohol, had a glass of non-alcoholic sparkling wine for a toast. We began with the "Seared Sushi of Select A5 Black Wagyu", which was a bit challenging for me but delicious with soy sauce and wasabi. The "Kombu-cured Beef Fillet" in ponzu sauce was tasty, especially when wrapped with chrysanthemum and spinach. The "Simmered Upper Stomach" was crunchy and enjoyable. The "Black Wagyu Danish Burger" was a hit, and I could probably eat 100 of them. The "Foie Gras Sauté" was decadent and melted in the mouth, complemented by sweet balsamic vinegar. The luxurious teppanyaki platter of "Abalone and Ise Ebi" was a delight, especially with anchovy sauce. The "Black Wagyu Beef Clear Soup" served as a palate cleanser with a hint of yuzu. Finally, we were treated to a spectacular steak performance with my "Premium A5 Black Wagyu Lean Steak" and my partner's upgraded "Chateaubriand". The garlic rice was outstanding, especially when turned into a garlic rice tea porridge. We finished with a birthday plate for my partner's belated birthday celebration, followed by ice cream and roasted green tea. The service was attentive, and the course was satisfying with a variety of dishes. It was a delightful dining experience with plenty of options to choose from.

I used it for the first time! I was worried because there was no explanation of the origin of the ingredients. I think it's a bit too much to assume that the ingredients are good quality and use too much butter. I felt like I couldn't enjoy the natural flavor of the ingredients. I think a little more ingenuity is needed.

The sign of the restaurant was visible, and upon descending underground, the interior had a calm atmosphere. The service and explanations of the dishes were polite, allowing us to enjoy our meal. We had the spiny lobster course this time, and every dish was truly delicious, making it a satisfying experience. When cooking the main meat dish, they create a dramatic flame, which is also a highlight! The portion size of the dishes was just right, but the prices seemed slightly high for lunch. Nevertheless, I think choosing this restaurant was a good decision!

I had the lobster course and changed the main meat to Chateaubriand! The course used plenty of meat throughout and was very satisfying. The garlic rice at the end was like ochazuke, with a light flavor to finish. However, the inside of the restaurant was hotter than outside, and I couldn't stop sweating... Even though they had the air conditioning on max, being a teppanyaki restaurant, it was understandable but still a bit disappointing from a service perspective. I recommend booking a table away from the teppan when making a reservation!

I used the counter seats with my friends and had the ultimate course meal! Everything was delicious and satisfying with generous portions! The meat was cooked right in front of us with a fiery performance, and they even provided a service to take photos with our phones! The timing of the dishes coming out was also great! I definitely want to go back again!

I used the premium course. Despite being located in Roppongi, the prices are reasonable and the satisfaction level is quite high. During the main steak teppanyaki, they entertain you with a flambé performance (they recommend slow-motion recording with your smartphone).

It is located in a quiet alley in Roppongi. I went for the Ise Ebi course and around 9 dishes were served, all of which were delicious. Everything was cooked on the teppan right in front of us, and there was even a fiery performance. They used A5 rank meat for all dishes, which was tender and melted in the mouth. The Ise Ebi was firm and impressive. The black wagyu hamburger used sweet bread that paired well with the meat. It's a place suitable for dates or business entertaining. I would love to go again. 🚶‍♀️

I visited the restaurant during dinner time on a regular weekday. Even though I made a reservation on the same day, the counter was full, so I was seated in a private room. It was a very popular restaurant! I had heard that this place was highly recommended for its great value and convenience on social media, so I was curious and decided to check it out. I ordered the lobster course, but my favorite dish was the Wagyu cheeseburger. The buns were made of Danish pastry soaked in butter, and inside there was lettuce, cheddar cheese, and minced Wagyu beef. It was incredibly delicious! The restaurant was very user-friendly, had a great location, and was definitely worth the price. I would love to visit again in the future.

It was located in a quiet place a little away from the main street of Roppongi. In addition to the counter, there were private rooms and table seats. The majority of customers seemed to be young, but the atmosphere was like a typical teppanyaki restaurant, not noisy at all. They explained the course menu options and I decided to add the fillet steak. Since I chose the lobster course this time, I was able to enjoy both meat and seafood! Considering the price of the course and the location, I think it's quite affordable! The staff were polite and even took a video when they flambéed the dish! It's a shame I can't upload the video... I think anyone would find it easy to use. I especially recommend it to young people who want to celebrate a special occasion with their loved ones!

Roppongi. Used for dinner to celebrate the wedding anniversary. This is the third time we celebrate our wedding anniversary as a couple. For our 1st anniversary, we went to our favorite yakiniku restaurant, and for our 2nd anniversary, we celebrated at our favorite Italian restaurant. This time, we decided to try something different and celebrate at a place we don't usually go to. We made a reservation about a month and a half in advance. We chose the abalone course. The course included 9 dishes, including A5 steak and abalone, all for 6000 yen + tax. Quite a surprising price setting. (Please note that the prices have changed since booking in October). Drinks were not included in the course. I decided to have champagne since it was a special occasion. My wife, who doesn't drink, had ginger ale to join in the toast. The first dish was seared sushi made with A5 Wagyu beef. It was the highlight of the meal and the best dish of the day for both of us. The texture was melt-in-your-mouth, and the sweet and savory flavor of the beef was unforgettable. It was hands down the best beef sushi we've ever had. Next was the Wagyu beef tataki, followed by smoked marinated red snapper. The Wagyu beef burger was delicious, with two types of cheese and juicy meat. Then came the main dish, abalone steak. It was my first time eating a whole abalone, and it was cooked on a teppanyaki grill. The abalone was tender and paired well with its liver. Although I expected more, it was still a unique experience. We also had red meat steak, garlic rice, a special plate for our anniversary, and almond jelly for dessert. We enjoyed some drinks, and the total bill for two was around 18,000 yen. Considering the location in Roppongi, it was quite affordable for a teppanyaki restaurant. The dishes didn't quite live up to our high expectations, but the atmosphere and service exceeded them. The restaurant had a casual and welcoming vibe, and the chef even helped us take photos for social media. Overall, it was a great experience for a teppanyaki beginner and the perfect spot for a special celebration.

I used it for my birthday. It was easy to get to as it was close to the station. When I entered the restaurant, there were two other groups there, and it seemed like everyone was celebrating a special occasion. The staff were very kind and attentive, showing us the meat and saying, "Please take a photo," and before the flames went up, they said, "If you take it slowly, it will come out nicely." The food was all very delicious, especially the famous brioche cutlet sandwich. The dessert plate that came out at the end also had a cute illustration of Anya, which made me happy. I would definitely like to visit again.

A teppanyaki restaurant in a back alley. The meat is high quality, especially the hamburger was delicious! The bread is Danish-style with melted cheese, so good. It seems like many customers celebrating anniversaries were using the restaurant. I also ordered the anniversary plate, which was very cute! The garlic rice as the finishing touch with dashi poured over it was also delicious.

A mature and calm atmosphere in the restaurant. I chose to sit at the counter for teppanyaki. The chef was experienced in photography and gave me advice on the best angle for taking pictures. I selected the abalone course, which was the cheapest option, but I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfied and full I felt at the end.

✶----------<Order>----------✶ ✤ Deluxe course 11,000 yen ✤ Two drinks of your choice 1,500 yen ✶---------<Impressions, Feedback>---------✶ I visited the teppanyaki restaurant Grow, located about a 3-minute walk from Roppongi. Today, I ordered the popular Deluxe course, which consists of a luxurious 10-course meal. This course is highly recommended for special occasions such as anniversaries, celebrations, or business dinners, so I suggest giving it a try. 【Course Contents】 - Premium A5 Wagyu beef seared sushi (Ichibo) - A5 Wagyu beef kombu shime - Flower-cut Mino hot pot - Signature A5 Wagyu beef hamburger - Abalone teppanyaki - Spiny lobster teppanyaki - Premium A5 Wagyu beef soup - Premium A5 Wagyu beef red meat steak * You can upgrade to Sirloin for an additional 2,200 yen, Fillet for 3,300 yen, or Chateaubriand for 4,400 yen - Grow's garlic rice - Dessert We started with the A5 Wagyu seared sushi, which had a perfect balance of fat and was easy to eat, preparing us for the upcoming teppanyaki dishes. The A5 Wagyu beef kombu shime was beautifully marbled and tender, pairing well with alcohol. The standout dish was the A5 Wagyu beef hamburger, a specialty of the restaurant. The buns were made with Danish pastry, creating a juicy and satisfying texture. The patty was rich in flavor and paired excellently with alcohol. The abalone, spiny lobster, and main steak teppanyaki dishes were enjoyable both in taste and presentation. The abalone had a chewy texture and released a burst of rich flavor, truly a luxurious dish. The steak was exceptionally delicious, served with garlic chips, rock salt, and wasabi. The garlic rice cooked on the teppan was crispy and fragrant, stimulating our appetites. Although we were quite full, we didn't feel heavy, and we had a wonderful time. Despite being a teppanyaki restaurant, the prices are reasonable, making it suitable for casual dinners or special occasions. Tokyo (Roppongi) Teppanyaki Grow Roppongi Store Located just a few minutes from Roppongi Station, the Teppanyaki Grow Roppongi Store is a great place to enjoy high-quality ingredients at a reasonable price. This casual teppanyaki restaurant in Roppongi is definitely worth remembering. This time, we tried the "Ultimate Course" out of the three courses available. The overall portion was just right and the highlight was the hamburger. It is incredibly delicious and definitely a must-try. The buns are made with Danish pastry, giving a nice texture when you first bite into it. The juicy meat and rich flavor are addictively good. [Menu] - A5 Wagyu Beef Seared Sushi - A5 Wagyu Beef Konbu Shime - Hanasaki Upper Stomach Yubiki - A5 Wagyu Beef Hamburger - Abalone and Ise Ebi Teppanyaki - A5 Wagyu Beef Soup - A5 Wagyu Beef Red Meat Steak Chateaubriand (+4400 yen) - Grow-style Garlic Rice - Dessert [Ambiance] The main seating is at the counter where you can watch the teppanyaki being prepared right in front of you. There are also private rooms available. The atmosphere is casual with no pretentiousness, making it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The seating is spaced out well, and the sound of the teppanyaki grill helps create a sense of privacy. [Clientele] On the day of our visit, there were only couples celebrating anniversaries or birthdays with special plates and gift exchanges. It seems like a popular spot for couples. Overall, it was a great dining experience. -------------------------------- Price: Approximately 12000 yen

The abalone was very delicious. The sandwich was also tasty. For older people, it might be better to add abalone instead of upgrading the meat. Chita Highball costs 1900 yen per glass. Chita was not listed on the menu, but when ordering a Highball, you are given a choice of Dewar's, Yamazaki, or Chita. It's recommended to ask for the price of items not listed on the menu before ordering. Dewar's costs 750 yen, while Yamazaki Highball costs 950 yen, so choosing Yamazaki would have been better. I ended up drinking three glasses... Even though we went for a cost-effective course, the drink prices were shocking for ordinary people, so I have to rate it based on cost performance.

In a calm space, you can casually enjoy teppanyaki here! Even though it's teppanyaki, the cheapest course starts from the 5000 yen range, which is great! There are three affiliated stores in Tokyo, in Ueno and Korakuen. The restaurant has a counter with 10 seats, tables for 4 people, and private rooms for 6 people. The seats where you can enjoy the live cooking experience the most are the counter seats in the front with the teppan right in front of you, about 4-6 seats. I visited around 7 pm on a Monday and it quickly became full, probably due to reservations. This time, I tried the most popular "Gokumi Course" which includes foie gras, lobster, abalone, and steak. They are particular about using black wagyu beef, not specifying the origin but having the wholesaler provide good meat for the day. Below are my impressions of the menu items I tried: - Seared Sushi: It was a meat sushi with a strong akami cut. It was a delicious meat sushi with a good balance and harmony. - Kuroge Wagyu Konbu-shime: Served with perilla, which adds a hint of refreshing aroma when eaten together. - Upper Mino Yubiki: Served with grated red core daikon, the combination of Mino and daikon was exquisite. - Black Wagyu Danish Burger: The buns being Danish accentuates the sweetness, and the cheese and sauce further enhance the flavor. - Apple and Foie Gras Balsamic Sauce: A luxurious dish with apple, foie gras, and balsamic sauce that complement each other perfectly. - Abalone and Lobster Assortment: Two luxurious ingredients in one dish! Grilled on the teppan in front of you, enhancing the enjoyment. - Yuzu-flavored Wagyu Osumashi: The yuzu flavor was refreshing, providing a calming experience. - Chateaubriand Steak: The highlight of teppanyaki! The steak is cooked on the teppan in front of you, with a surprising foaming soy sauce. - Garlic Fried Rice: The crispy garlic chips added a nice texture. - Strawberry Panna Cotta: A delightful dessert to end the meal. Overall, I was very satisfied! Whether for celebrations or as a treat with friends, it's a versatile place to visit!

This time, I visited "Teppanyaki grow Roppongi branch," which is located about a 3-minute walk from Roppongi Station. It is a hidden gem of a casual teppanyaki restaurant nestled quietly near the Don Quijote in Roppongi, just off the beaten path. The staff's service is excellent, and there is a performance right in front of you, making it a great place for a date or anniversary♡︎ Visit time: 18:00 Waiting time: None (reservation) Ordered items: - Ultimate Course - Seared A5 Wagyu Beef Sushi - Appetizer: Beef Tataki - Daily Special: Top-quality Beef Intestines - Black Wagyu Beef Danish Burger - Deluxe Teppanyaki Platter with Abalone and Ise Ebi - Foie Gras Saute - Black Wagyu Beef Oshiruko (Sweet Red Bean Soup) - Premium A5 Wagyu Beef Steak (Chateaubriand) - Grow-style Garlic Rice - Dessert: Vanilla ice cream and chocolate-like chocolate ice cream Eating teppanyaki at the counter is always fun. This restaurant offers a little performance while grilling the meat, making it a surefire way to have a great time on a date. The portions are generous, and I left completely satisfied! Thank you, "Teppanyaki grow Roppongi branch."

I received the Extreme Course for 11,000 yen! The highlights were seared sushi with premium black wagyu beef, assorted appetizers, seasonal dish, black wagyu beef Danish burger, foie gras sauté, abalone teppanyaki, spiny lobster teppanyaki, black wagyu beef soup, and the highest quality A5 rank black wagyu lean steak. The foie gras was surprisingly generous in portion and the black wagyu beef Danish burger was delicious with the Danish pastry bun. The meat was sirloin and quite fatty, so if you prefer a leaner option, I recommend switching to the lean steak. We sat at the counter and noticed two couples celebrating birthdays with special plates. It's a good choice for birthday celebrations too! If you're deciding on a teppanyaki restaurant in Roppongi, I recommend considering this one!
