On March 18th, Reiwa 5 (Saturday), a MyReviewer chose to visit a shop in Asakusa that I had been reviewing a lot recently, particularly for its warabi mochi. The staff, especially the young women, were indeed cute! I may have been a bit tipsy, but the warabi mochi was delicious! Additionally, although I have visited Asakusa Temple many times in my long life, always during daytime when the sun was out, today was the first time I saw the temple illuminated at night, and it was truly beautiful. It made me realize why so many foreigners are captivated by Asakusa Temple. The main reason I was brought to Asakusa Temple was, as I mentioned in my review, to show a father who had been obsessed with Kansai warabi mochi what real warabi mochi is like. The shop had a traditional atmosphere, and the staff, especially the young women, were lovely and had beautiful skin that symbolized warabi mochi. Our order included three types of warabi mochi served on boat-shaped plates: with brown sugar, black sugar, and matcha, each priced at 360 yen including tax. Despite being a bit drunk, I thought that ordering three different types would lead to someone offering to share, but when it comes to delicious food, everyone gets serious! It was so delicious! And the staff were so cute and lovely! As we were leaving, I asked for a photo with them. At first, they wore masks, but when I asked them to remove it due to my fatherly wishes, they kindly obliged. A person with a beautiful heart is also beautiful on the outside! In that moment, I saw that all of human society's history stems from the heart. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
