Family outing~ The nearest station to the shop is Fudomae, but we got off at Meguro Station. The cherry blossoms along the Meguro River were already gone, but we enjoyed a leisurely stroll before reaching the shop, which is located along Yamate Street. The days have gotten longer, so even during dinner time, it was still bright outside. The beautiful yakiniku restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. We arrived earlier than our reservation time, but they kindly let us in and we were the first customers. The walls were adorned with pictures of cows and explanations of different cuts of meat. The seats had storage space underneath for our belongings, including our coats. The shop, which has been in business for 48 years and is operated by a wholesaler, prides itself on selecting only the best female black wagyu cattle for their meat. We immediately ordered the "Black Wagyu Female Whole Head Assortment of 10 Cuts" that we had been wanting to try. It can be ordered for a minimum of two people. For drinks, I chose a lemon sour, which was refreshing with a strong carbonation. For the family members who don't drink alcohol, they had oolong tea. On the table, there were white sauce, black sauce, and lemon sauce for dipping. The white sauce was fruity, while the black sauce had a garlic and ginger flavor. As we observed, the "Black Wagyu Female Whole Head Assortment of 10 Cuts" arrived. The assortment of carefully selected rare cuts was truly luxurious! Now, which one should we start with? It was exciting to decide. When in doubt, start with the easiest one to pick up. The large cuts of rare cuts were a delightful surprise. The "Tomosankaku" had a melt-in-your-mouth fatty texture. The "Kamenoko" was rich and meaty. The "Maki" was incredibly tender and almost fell apart when cooked. You could eat it even without teeth! The "Brisket" had a perfect balance of meatiness. The flavor seeped out beautifully. The "Lamp" had a juicy meaty texture and a savory taste. The "Zabuton" was full of fat, tender, and juicy. The "Uchiharami" had a great balance of meat and fat. It was incredibly flavorful. The "Rib Kaburi" was meaty and juicy. The "Sankaku Bara" was tender and had a lot of fat. The "Sasami" also had a lot of fat that dripped as it cooked. It melted in your mouth. We were able to compare the unique characteristics of each cut and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended! You can cook each piece to your liking without interference. We decided to share an "Ishiyaki Cheese Bibimbap" as a side dish. The cheese added a creamy and satisfying flavor to the dish. The crispy rice crust was deliciously crunchy. Sharing the dish was a good idea as we were full by the end of the meal. About 30 minutes after we arrived, more and more customers started coming in, and the restaurant quickly filled up. It was a good decision to make a reservation. The atmosphere was family-friendly. The staff were reserved but answered our questions politely. It was a relaxing environment to enjoy our yakiniku. They offer banquet courses to suit your budget, exciting assortments, sashimi, salads, side dishes, chicken and pork dishes, rice dishes, noodles, soups, and a variety of drinks including beer, highballs, shochu, sake, plum wine, and soft drinks. Next time, I would love to try the tongue and hormone dishes!
