This time, I brought two gourmet mom friends to my favorite restaurant, Viamare. Even though they live in the city center, they are willing to come all the way to Hachioji because this restaurant is so wonderful. The interior is elegant with a white color scheme, giving off a luxurious vibe. We were lucky to get the private room at the back for the first time. The lunch menu offers three course options, as well as the option to order from the grand menu during lunchtime. The lunch courses are reasonably priced, making it possible to come for lunch even during work hours. However, it can get crowded on some days, so it is recommended to make a reservation. We started with a salad that the waitress recommended for my friend who wanted to eat vegetables first. The salad was colorful and delicious with a simple olive oil-based dressing. A must-try dish here is the Caviar Capellini. It is a bit pricey at around ¥2,500 for two bites, but the taste is worth it. I recommended it to my mom friends, and we each had a plate. The capellini is decorated with edible flowers, making it visually appealing as well. The taste is outstanding! I wanted to have another plate! Another dish we enjoyed was the seasonal White Asparagus. This is something you can only eat during this time of year. The white asparagus at Viamare is truly the best. We also added fresh black truffle on top, which was amazing. The thickness of the asparagus was impressive! The combination of white asparagus, poached egg-like topping, prosciutto, fresh Parmigiano, and truffle aroma was superb. We were impressed by the chef's skill. For pasta, my friend wanted to try the Uni Cream Pasta from the seasonal menu. I mentioned how delicious the pizza was last time, so we decided to try it. There were three options: Quattro, Margherita, and Prosciutto. We couldn't decide, but the thoughtful waitress suggested a half-and-half option. We chose Quattro and the recommended Margherita. Both my mom friends were delighted with the delicious food. We are looking forward to the next seasonal menu!

Delicious Italian cuisine. For the lunch menu, you can choose from appetizers, pasta, dessert, and drinks. The fried conger eel appetizer was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My friend's salmon carpaccio also looked delicious. Next, the recommended pasta dish was the squid ink pasta with tomato sauce, slightly spicy and very tasty. I would love to try their dinner menu as well.

This Italian restaurant located near Hachioji Station North Exit offers a dinner course where you can choose an appetizer and pasta. From the appetizer to the pasta, main course, and dessert, everything was delicious. However, the dessert was a bit too sweet for my liking.

I made a reservation by phone at Ristorante Viamare in Hachioji, Tokyo. When you make a reservation, it seems like you have to order a course meal. The restaurant is located on the second floor and has a very spacious and calming atmosphere that makes you forget you're in Hachioji. I thought the lunch course was well-prepared and worth more than the price. I would like to visit this restaurant again soon.笑

This is my first visit to this restaurant. I stopped by on my way back from running errands in the Hachioji area. The restaurant is conveniently located just a short walk from both JR Hachioji Station and Keio Hachioji Station, making it easy to find on the second floor of the building. The interior of the restaurant is much more impressive than the exterior, with a lovely atmosphere and fresh flowers adding to the hospitality. The staff's smiles and clear, polite explanations of the dishes added to the experience. Despite being a small restaurant, the level of service from the staff was quite impressive. The food was good, with no complaints, but nothing particularly outstanding or impressive. The creme brulee dessert and coffee were delicious, and the sparkling wine I ordered separately was average.

The Italian restaurant that my family always goes to is all delicious, I haven't found a place that surpasses the food here... The wine is also delicious, making it a blissful moment. You must try the escargot-style whelk, it's so delicious that you can eat as many as you want. Also, you must try the carbonara, it's really delicious. For dessert, I always have a hard time deciding but end up eating the shortcake. Everything is really delicious and the staff are all kind and friendly. I will continue to go there in the future.

I used it for a reception. Work talk was a priority, to be honest, I didn't really savor the food haha. The main meat was tender and delicious. I went early, maybe because I had time to spare, but even though I have an Anisakis allergy, which should make me a difficult customer, they were very accommodating.

Recently, I have been going to eat lunch at various places near Hachioji Station. Today, I finished around 2 pm and decided to have a relaxed lunch in a quiet place. I found a restaurant located in a building off a main street near JR Hachioji Station North Exit. The interior was clean and had a nice white color theme. Since I was dining alone, I was seated by the window. They had a lunch menu where you could choose between a starter or dessert. I chose the starter for an additional 300 yen and ordered the pasta of the day. I enjoyed a leisurely lunch, dining alone in peace.

My daughter had her first postpartum lunch. We were looking for an Italian restaurant near her house with a private room and found this place. The restaurant is on the second floor up a narrow staircase, which made it a bit difficult to access, but the interior is spacious and bright, especially the private room which had a special atmosphere. We had the special lunch set (¥2600 + tax) *Choice of appetizer, pasta, main dish, and drink. The course included: [Bread] Focaccia, Cheese Bread - Fluffy focaccia with a rosemary aroma. The cheesy bread had a crispy surface like choux pastry. [Appetizer] - Plentiful appetizer platter with 6 different items - Garden Bagna Cauda option - The appetizer platter included prosciutto, pork ham, Italian omelette, sautéed eggplant, baked cheese, and carrot salad. The Bagna Cauda with fresh vegetables and anchovy sauce kept warm was a delightful touch. [Pasta] - Cabbage and anchovy peperoncino - Gorgonzola cheese cream sauce (+¥300) option - The peperoncino had a strong garlic flavor with a balanced spiciness and anchovy saltiness, which I loved. The Gorgonzola cheese cream sauce was rich and flavorful, and my daughter particularly enjoyed it. [Main Dish] - Pork wrapped in prosciutto - Tender pork with the saltiness of prosciutto, complemented well by the tangy capers and creamy sauce. [Dessert] Homemade pudding - Slightly firm with a rich taste of milk and eggs, evoking a nostalgic feeling. [Drink] - Hot coffee - Red wine (+¥200) (Individual price ¥500) - The coffee had a rich flavor with a good balance of bitterness and acidity. The lunch wine was so delicious we had seconds. The food was truly delicious, and the staff were all very friendly and attentive to my granddaughter in the stroller, always looking out for her. They even brought the stroller down for us when we left. Thanks to the delicious food and the thoughtful staff, we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

Since the beginning of this year, my wife and I went out for a meal for the first time. We take unnecessary outings quite seriously. For our long-awaited lunch, we decided to go to a nearby restaurant that we had been to before. We arrived around 13:30 on a Sunday, and about 80% of the tables were occupied. In the past, we had ordered the Via Mare Lunch for ¥1,780 twice, so this time we decided to try the Special Lunch for ¥2,600, which includes an additional main course. Here's what we ordered:
- Appetizers: 6 types of Italian appetizers including omelette, homemade ham, octopus terrine, broccoli terrine, ham & melon, and Greek salad.
- Pasta: Pasta with summer vegetables (asparagus and corn).
- Main course: Grilled pork with potato mille-feuille and balsamic sauce.
Overall, I found the main course to be a bit heavy for me. The pork wasn't as tasty as I had hoped, and I regret not choosing the fish dish Aqua Pazza instead. Considering the price, I think it was reasonable.

Ristorante Viamare in Hachioji City, Tokyo. A 5-minute walk from Hachioji Station, this authentic Italian restaurant is a delight for the taste buds. I visited on a Friday around 7 pm. The interior is clean and has a calm atmosphere. For appetizers... Italian-style omelette, burrata cheese, prosciutto and melon, Guglielmo, roast ham, white asparagus in white wine sauce. The white asparagus was delicious! It was a good size with no toughness, and the sauce was just right. For the first main dish... pasta with firefly squid and tomato sauce. The firefly squid from Toyama Bay is in season and it was bursting with flavor and a rich, creamy texture. For the second main dish... sautéed pork fillet. The porcini sauce was incredibly delicious! It complemented not only the pork fillet but also the zucchini, bamboo shoots, and potatoes. For dessert... blancmange. The flavor was great, and even the aroma that came through the nose was delicious! It seems that it was scented with a liqueur called Amaretto, and I enjoyed savoring it slowly while appreciating the aroma. The whole staff was truly wonderful, they even came to refill the water without us having to ask. The food and service were top-notch, and I had a luxurious time. It was really delicious, thank you for the feast.

Visited the restaurant on Sunday around 14:15. Just like last time, I arrived right before the last order for lunch. I had made a reservation in advance, so I was able to enter without any issues. I ordered the same thing as last time, the Villamare Lunch set for ¥1780, which includes a choice of several appetizers and pasta. Here is a breakdown of my experience:
1. Focaccia and choux pastry bread were served first. They were average and came without butter.
2. The appetizer consisted of a variety of Italian appetizers including marinated mushrooms, carrots, vegetable terrine, omelette, prosciutto, marinated octopus, and more. I preferred this over the bagna cauda I had last time.
3. I chose the Genovese pasta (+¥300), which was generously flavored with fresh basil. However, I felt it lacked some texture and could use additional ingredients like pine nuts for contrast. The pasta was also slightly overcooked for my liking.
4. The crème brûlée had too little custard, making the balance with the brûlée uneven. I preferred the panna cotta I had last time.
Overall, considering the variety of dishes and the price, the set menu was a good deal. The option to choose from different appetizers and pasta was a plus. I also noticed some interesting items on the à la carte menu that I would like to try in the future. The service was excellent, with the floor staff being attentive and responsive. They seemed to anticipate our needs and provided service at the perfect timing. The level of service was definitely a step above other restaurants with part-time staff. I look forward to trying the dinner menu or individual dishes next time. Thank you for the meal.

I was encouraged to visit this restaurant by the high praise from my favorite reviewer. I visited around 12 pm on a Sunday and ordered two Special Lunch sets for ¥2600 each to celebrate a special occasion. When I arrived, there were about three groups of customers, but by 2 pm, the restaurant was almost full. It seemed like there were many regular customers as well. For the appetizer, we chose the "Plentiful 6 types! Today's Italian appetizer assortment," which included homemade pickles, Spanish omelette, homemade pork ham, melon and prosciutto, among others. Everything was delicious, and it paired perfectly with the sparkling wine we ordered for ¥500 per glass. Next, we had pasta. It took quite a while for the dishes to arrive due to the crowded restaurant, but we enjoyed leisurely conversation while sipping our wine. Finally, the pasta arrived. My husband had his favorite "Porcini mushroom cream sauce with homemade tagliatelle" for an additional ¥300, and I chose the "Genovese-style spaghetti with squid and zucchini in basil sauce" for an additional ¥300, which was the daily special. Both dishes were exquisite, with the porcini mushroom cream sauce being rich and flavorful, and the squid and zucchini pasta being full of flavor and texture. For the main course, my husband had the "Pan-seared beef fillet with seasonal vegetables" for an additional ¥800, and I had the "Live flounder with truffle-scented cream sauce" for an additional ¥500. The truffle-scented cream sauce was particularly delicious. The dessert was cute and delicious as well, and we enjoyed every bite. Even though we ordered many additional items due to our special occasion, I believe that the regular menu items for ¥2600 would be equally delicious based on the quality of the food. The wine we ordered by the bottle was also delicious, with its taste evolving beautifully from when we opened it to when we finished it. It was a lunch filled with delicious food and wine, and we were very satisfied. Both my husband and I loved it and promised to come back again. We also want to try the sister restaurant, Cantina. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Hachioji Lunch. Hachioji, which I rarely visit because there is no free parking spot near the station. The restaurant I visited this time is a bit hard to find in terms of location. It's on the second floor of a street shop, so it may be difficult to enter at first glance. If it weren't for the photos and reviews on Tabelog, I wouldn't have been able to visit. In conclusion, I think the lunch at this restaurant is a hit. This time, I ordered the ¥1780 course with an additional ¥300 pasta. Appetizer: Anchovy sauce of Bagna Cauda Pasta: Porcini mushroom cream sauce (+¥300) Dessert: Blancmange with custard sauce Bread: Focaccia and choux pastry bread Drink: Hot coffee Taste: It's hard to say with just one lunch, but I think it's above average. Service: Maybe it was relatively quiet, but I think they noticed well. It's helpful that they pour water without having to say anything. The menu explanation was also concise and easy to understand. Atmosphere: As you can see from the photos of another person, it lives up to its name as a restaurant. Cost performance: It may be because it's lunch, but it's good. Nowadays, even at a family restaurant, it's around ¥1500. Appetizer, pasta, bread, dessert, drink for ¥1780+tax is sufficient. I would like to try it for lunch or dinner again.

This is an Italian restaurant located on the second floor of a building, at the top of a narrow and steep staircase. It was my first lunch visit after the state of emergency was lifted. They had alcohol disinfectant at the entrance, opened windows for ventilation, spaced out tables, and took other precautions. The value lunch set was 1,380 yen and included an appetizer platter, freshly baked bread, pasta, and a drink. The pasta options were spaghetti with prosciutto and mushroom cream sauce, and spaghetti with original American cream sauce with snow crab (+300 yen). The appetizers had a variety of options like quiche and vegetable jelly, all meticulously prepared and delicious. However, my spaghetti with prosciutto was a bit salty, making me crave for some alcohol (but I resisted). The subtle touch of fresh flowers on the table made me happy, and I savored the warm meal prepared by someone else, realizing how precious and delicious it was. I noticed they also focused on takeout orders, with phone calls coming in for pick-ups. I hope they continue to thrive and overcome the challenges posed by the pandemic.

It's been a while since I visited Hachioji and I happened to come across this restaurant, Ristorante Via Mare. It was my first visit. I thought it was rare to find a restaurant in Hachioji, so I decided to give it a try. However, there were some issues that made the rating lower in the end. Thank you for the meal.

I had some business in Hachioji and had lunch there. Due to the pandemic, the town was almost deserted, but a few shops were open, so I went to one of them. The restaurant was about half full with customers and had a luxurious atmosphere. I ordered a small shrimp pasta, which was delicious and authentic. I ended the meal with dessert. I was in a bit of a rush, so I felt a bit hectic, but I would like to go back and take my time next time.

I had some business in Hachioji and decided to search for a nice restaurant for lunch. I had a feeling that I would find a good place. After finishing my errands, I arrived at the restaurant a little after 1 pm. The lunch rush seemed to be over as there was only one family already dining. The restaurant had a clean and white interior, and I was seated at a cozy table by the window, even though I was dining alone. I felt happy about that.
I ordered the pasta lunch set, specifically the pasta of the day which was a meat sauce with duck and chickpeas (if I remember correctly). First, they served me some focaccia bread. I decided to wait until my pasta arrived to enjoy it with the sauce. In just a few minutes, my pasta was served. It looked appetizing with a nice sprinkle of cheese on top. The first bite was just so delicious, a unique flavor that I couldn't quite describe. It was lighter than a regular meat sauce, which I liked. I finished off the meal by dipping the focaccia in the sauce and it was gone in no time.
After the meal, I had a relaxing cup of coffee and enjoyed a moment of bliss. Although I don't come to Hachioji often, I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on Saturday. The majority of the customers were women. They had several set menu options for lunch, which included appetizers, pasta, dessert, and a drink. I chose the set menu which included 4 types of appetizers, focaccia, a choice of about 10 types of pasta (some with an additional charge), and a choice of about 10 drinks. I ordered the appetizer sampler with a variety of salads, salami, and egg dishes on one plate. The pasta of the day was squid Genovese. For dessert, I had panna cotta which was creamy and delicious. All of this cost around 1900 yen, and I was very satisfied with the meal.
