I wanted to eat a specialty of Hakata for lunch. There are different types of set meals to choose from. So, I decided to order the Mizutaki set meal for lunch. It came with small dishes such as fried chicken, sashimi, mentaiko, takana mentaiko, and more. The rich chicken soup was delicious, and it even came with dessert. Of course, the Mizutaki itself was also very tasty, and I finished it all!

Earlier this month, I had lunch with a friend who came to Tokyo. We went to "Hakata Hanamidori" in Ginza. The restaurant is located on the basement floor, but there is an elevator on the left side of the entrance, making it accessible for those with mobility concerns or baby strollers. The interior of the restaurant reminded me of the Hakata Gion branch, with small tables that almost felt like private rooms. We had reserved the Mizutaki (chicken hot pot) course for 4,000 yen, which included a simple Mizutaki dish. The beer was delicious! Despite being close to Ginza Station, just a few minutes of walking outside in the heat made us feel like we were going to melt. The Mizutaki pot was brought to our table, with collagen balls added in front of us. We started by tasting the soup alone, then moved on to the bone-in chicken thigh pieces called "Butsugiri," which we dipped in yuzu pepper. The meat was tender and flavorful. The vegetable set allowed us to add our own vegetables at the right timing, with cabbage instead of napa cabbage, which is typical of Hakata. There were plenty of tsukune (chicken meatballs) and sliced chicken breast to enjoy. The chicken liver was surprisingly delicious when dipped in ponzu soy sauce. We thought about ordering more meat, but decided against it and were glad we did. The meal ended with a delicious zosui (rice porridge) made by the waitress. While we opted for Mizutaki, the lunch menu offers a variety of options, including affordable set meals that allow you to sample different dishes from Hanamidori. The lunch menu, starting at 1,280 yen, is quite extensive. It's a great option for a casual lunch in Ginza, especially when you're out shopping or exploring the area. The relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant allows you to enjoy a leisurely lunch. My friend and I were both very satisfied with the delicious Mizutaki we had for lunch, and it was great to see my friend enjoying the experience as well. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant on my second visit. The seating is separated and feels like a semi-private room, so even during lunchtime, I can relax in a certain level of privacy. The staff are all wearing kimonos! - Hakata Mizutaki Set Meal ¥1800: The collagen was amazing! The Mizutaki had a simple seasoning that made it enjoyable without getting tired of it. - Hakata Herbal Hot Pot Set Meal ¥1500: A miso-based hot pot with wolfberries and jujubes. The hot pot alone is quite filling, but there is also a substantial amount of sesame amberjack and fried chicken, and even dessert! It was a peach jelly-like dessert, but I have a peach allergy so I gave it to my companion. The delicious chicken here is raised by the founder himself, in a free-range environment.

The other day, I visited the restaurant around 1 pm with the intention of trying the sesame amberjack with Mizutaki set. It was my second visit, and I was greeted by a lovely staff member with a great smile who showed us to a table for two. The restaurant had a narrow hallway with curtains separating the tables, giving a cozy and private feel. I ordered the Hakata Mizutaki set along with an iced jasmine tea. The set included sesame amberjack sashimi, a small side dish, one piece of fried chicken, Mizutaki hot pot, white rice, soup, pickles, and mentaiko (with free refills). The jasmine tea had a nice aroma, although it was a bit light. The rice and mentaiko were delicious, and I couldn't resist getting a second serving. The sesame amberjack was fresh and slightly sweet, complementing the well-cooked rice. The Mizutaki soup was flavorful and matched the hot pot. The small side dish had a soy sauce flavor, and the fried chicken was juicy and not too garlicky, which I liked. The chicken in the Mizutaki was cooked perfectly, tender with a hint of firmness, and the bone-in pieces were small and easy to eat. The two small meatballs were soft, and the vegetables and tofu were sweet and tender. The ponzu sauce with yuzu, sansho pepper, and chopped green onions added a nice touch. The pickles were high-quality with mentaiko and mustard greens, making them a great accompaniment. For dessert, there was a small peach jelly, which was tasty but a bit warm. There was a buzzer on the table for calling the staff, who were all friendly and attentive. The Mizutaki set was excellent, with well-cooked chicken and delicious accompaniments, making it a great value for the price. I am considering trying the herbal hot pot set next time!

The course is 5,300 yen, but the only difference from the 4,000 yen course is the fourth photo, so it feels a bit lonely to pay an extra 1,300 yen just for that. It might be enough to enjoy just the sukiyaki for 4,000 yen. It's better to add ingredients for 1,300 yen. The sukiyaki was delicious. I prefer it a bit richer. If you're health-conscious, you'll love it. If you want a quick meal, the set meal is recommended.

The other day, I went to the sister store of Ginza Loft and had a late lunch at this place where the last order is at 2 pm. The restaurant is located underground and has a slightly upscale feel. I checked the menu outside, which seemed to have different prices and items compared to the Loft store. After descending a long staircase and opening the door, I found that there was nobody inside. I greeted the staff and they reluctantly allowed me to order even though it was close to closing time. I chose the parent and child rice bowl set, which included the rice bowl, 2 pieces of fried chicken, a side dish, pickles, miso soup, and a dessert. The lunch menu had more variety than the Loft store, but the items were different. The parent and child rice bowl did not come with the water stew soup that was available at the Loft store, and it was slightly more expensive. I added an iced jasmine tea to my order, which was refreshing. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, similar to the one at the Loft store. The water stew soup at this place was richer but lighter than the one at the Loft store. The meal did not include miso soup, but instead, the water stew soup was served as a replacement. The pickles were delicious, and the dessert, grape sherbet, was served later and had a good grape flavor. Overall, the meal was satisfying, and I found the experience interesting as I had visited the same chain but different branches on consecutive days. The prices and menu items were slightly different, and I would like to try the water stew dishes at this place in the future. The lunch sets at both locations were reasonably priced, and I think it's worth carefully choosing based on the menu offerings. The atmosphere at this place was cozy, although the sound from nearby could be heard, which was a bit distracting. The service varied depending on the staff, but overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

I used it for lunch. It has good cost performance! You can eat Mizutaki and motsunabe for around 1000 yen. It's quiet and calm, which is nice. The oyakodon also looks delicious, and I had a hard time choosing from the menu! There are 2nd Avenue and 4th Avenue stores, so be careful when meeting up (lol).

I was amazed to realize that the sukiyaki I had been eating until now was just an imitation. The soup was incredibly delicious. The chicken was of course tender, and as a chicken lover, I regret not having tried it before. The sesame amberjack was also delicious. I ended up drinking too much alcohol, haha.

Located on B1F of Ginza 4-chome Tower, this restaurant offers authentic Hakata cuisine, including the famous Hakata-style "mizutaki" dish. During lunchtime, I ordered the "Hakata motsunabe set meal (1500 yen)" to fully enjoy the flavors of Hakata. The set included a mini motsunabe hot pot, sesame amberjack, fried chicken, side dish, pickles, white rice, and dessert (caramel pudding). The motsunabe hot pot, rich in collagen, had tender and flavorful tripe and chicken, with a broth that was both rich and refreshing. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and sophisticated, making it a highly recommended dining spot.

Arrival time: 13:15 Entry time: 13:15 Crowded: 2 groups of customers already Other: Ordered the chicken tempura set meal with less rice, chicken soup, chicken tempura, and 2 small side dishes. The kimchi and kinpira gobō side dishes were very delicious. The kimchi was on the sweeter side rather than sour. The main chicken tempura was generous in portion, with thinly sliced chicken coated in crispy batter. It came with 3 toppings: homemade tartar sauce, tempura dipping sauce, and salt, all of which enhanced the flavor. Personally, I found the salt topping to be the most delicious. The chicken soup contained finely chopped chicken and plenty of carrots, and was extremely tasty. All of this for 1000 yen seemed unbelievably cheap, I was very satisfied.

I went expecting to eat the motsu nabe set at 11:30, but they said it was sold out? So I ended up ordering the herbal medicine set instead. It was delicious, but I think they should have put up a sign outside saying "sold out today" if they didn't have it.

You can enjoy the local dish of Hakata, Mizutaki, in a luxurious setting in Ginza. The collagen-rich soup is carefully prepared, and the chicken raised with special feed by the company has a firm texture. A must-try ultimate delicacy! My friend from Hakata ordered the half & half of Tori Nanban and Karaage, which looked delicious too! We fully enjoyed the taste of Hakata. Don't forget to dip the Mizutaki in ponzu sauce. Visited on Sunday around 1:30 PM. The atmosphere was dimly lit and had a semi-private feel. However, conversations from neighboring tables were quite audible. The staff were dressed in kimonos. Ordered the Hakata herbal hot pot set for 1,500 yen. It took about 5 minutes from ordering to serving. The hot pot was simmering and hearty, although it looked quite different from the photo. They provided paper aprons to prevent splashing, which was appreciated. The herbal hot pot had a slight spicy kick, with two large pieces of chicken and plenty of sesame amberjack, fried chicken, and more. The lotus root side dish with plum dressing was a refreshing palate cleanser. The dessert was also delicious, and the extra rice was free and shiny. The only downside was the service, which was a bit lacking despite the restaurant's atmosphere. Despite not being busy, we had to wait to be seated and for the check, and the staff seemed a bit cold. Payment options included PayPay and Rakuten Pay.

The place is a stylish Hakata hot pot restaurant near Higashi-Ginza Station in Ginza. I went in for lunch and had a delicious oyakodon. It was reasonably priced, but the chicken was juicy and the egg was perfectly mixed in. Additionally, it came with fried chicken which filled me up nicely.

I had delicious water-based hot pot soup after a long time. The soup was made purely from chicken, bringing out its umami flavor. The staff rolled the meatballs right in front of us and put them into the pot, and they were so perfectly round that I couldn't help but stop them and ask to take a picture.

This time, my wife and I had dinner here. We reserved a course in the 5000 yen range in advance. For the finale, we had champon noodles. The soup, which was like a clear broth, was elegant and delicious. The sukiyaki was also very tasty with a mild flavor. The ponzu sauce, which is not commonly found in the Kanto region, paired well with the dish with its subtle taste and yuzu pepper. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I wanted to eat Mizutaki (chicken hot pot) in Tokyo, so I visited the Hakata Hanamidori Ginza 4-chome branch, which I had been curious about for a while. When making a reservation, I opted for the Mizutaki and small side dishes course (@4,000 yen) as I wanted to enjoy various dishes while drinking alcohol. First, I ordered champagne and appetizers. I couldn't decide between "Mizutaki Karaage" and "Hanamidori raw ham and parent bird sashimi assortment," so I chose the latter. It was delicious, and it paired well with champagne! Personally, I like the parent bird sashimi with lemon. The main Mizutaki dish was delightful, starting with the tasty soup! It was fun to experience different flavors as we added chicken pieces, various meats, and vegetables at different times. I enjoyed the differences in taste, and I even finished the soup before the end of the meal (they add more soup before serving the porridge, so it's okay to drink it all). The Mizutaki ingredients, besides the chicken pieces, were added by the staff at the right timing. The bite-sized pieces were easy to eat, and the liver was cooked without becoming dry, retaining its tenderness and flavor. The porridge (chanpon is also available) absorbed the rich flavors of chicken and vegetables, and I finished it quickly as it was both rich and refreshing. You can reserve private or semi-private rooms, and I thought that you could be satisfied here without having to travel all the way to Fukuoka for Mizutaki! I will definitely visit again!

Located right near the Kabukiza Theater, this restaurant offers authentic Kagoshima-style Mizutaki (chicken hot pot). You can enjoy Mizutaki even for lunch. The spacious and calm atmosphere inside the restaurant makes it suitable for various occasions with tables, semi-private rooms, and private rooms available. I tried the "Hana Gozen" lunch set which includes an appetizer, three kinds of side dishes, tempura, kashiwa rice, and a choice of Mizutaki or Chinese herbal hot pot. I chose the Chinese herbal hot pot this time. The soup was mildly spicy and full of collagen. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection using premium Kagoshima-bred Hana Dori chicken. The meal also included pickles and dessert. A satisfying meal for one person to enjoy a relaxing lunch.

Second visit. I had lunch here last time, but this time I went for dinner. Their specialty is "Mizutaki" so I ordered that first. While waiting for the pot, I enjoyed the appetizer "Okkyuto" (a Fukuoka local dish made with seaweed) along with yuzu squid salted fish, sesame amberjack, rolled egg with mentaiko, etc. The squid salted fish had a nice yuzu flavor! The sesame amberjack had a rich sesame sauce flavor! The rolled egg with mentaiko was a perfect match & the egg was fluffy! Finally, the awaited Mizutaki arrived. First, we put collagen and bone-in chicken in the soup, let it boil, then enjoyed the soup and chicken ♡ (Simple but delicious soup♡) Then we added minced chicken, water dumplings, sliced fish, liver, and vegetables to the boiling pot, and enjoyed the hot Mizutaki. For the finishing touch, we had the porridge which was also delicious! The soup gradually thickened, mixed with rice, egg, and green onions, creating a delicious dish. Mizutaki warmed our bodies and provided plenty of collagen. Once again, I left fully satisfied and full! Mizutaki is mostly prepared by the staff, and there are many private and semi-private rooms available, making it a recommended place to relax and enjoy your meal.

Hibiya Line Higashi-Ginza Station, 30 seconds walk from A2 exit!! Look for the impressive curtain! You can either go down the stairs or use the elevator at the back. Their specialty is the ultimate sukiyaki made with their own brand chicken "Hanamidori" raised with care from feed to upbringing. Lunch is priced from 1,000 yen, very affordable. The Hana Gozen for 2,500 yen (tax included) is recommended. Order it and enjoy a cold beer while waiting for your meal served by staff in kimonos, perfect for foreign guests. - Appetizer: Fukuoka's local dish "Okkyuuto" made from solidified Egono-ri, with a texture like agar-agar. - Three appetizers: Spinach and burdock root, Mukagonjo fig in Koshu-style, and a fluffy chicken tempura. - Small pot (choose from boiled, motsu-nabe, or herbal medicine): I tried the herbal medicine pot. It arrived simmering and tasted spicy with a strong chicken broth, complex and delicious. Plenty of vegetables, Maroni, "Hanamidori" chicken chunks, and meatballs for a hearty meal. - Kashiwa rice: A Kyushu specialty, heavy and full of ingredients, perfectly seasoned and very satisfying. - Fragrant dish and dessert: Chestnut jelly and coffee for an additional 100 yen. The coffee had a deep flavor. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch until 3 pm. Can't wait to visit again!
