This was my visit since winter started! Last time, I had dishes like rolled omelette and oyster oden to warm up. This time, I had a sashimi platter, a Japanese-style salad with crispy yuba and daikon, and the recommended skewers were raw tsukune, sukiyaki, foie gras, and kalbi. I think I also ordered one more skewer... The recommended oden this time was new onions! For dessert, I had a Japanese-style parfait with lots of ice cream, and I was full ♡♡♡ I enjoyed plum wine, while my friend liked that they had a variety of premium shochu like Murao, Tomi no Takara, Morio, and Maou. It's nice to visit here each season (ノ´∀`*) Posting about Ginza, Marunouchi, and Hibiya gourmet on my blog♪ Search for "Mikalog Lunch"! http://mikalog.tokyo

I visited a stylish izakaya located in the Ginza Corridor Street near Yurakucho for lunch. I arrived right after the opening at 11:35 am on a weekday and I was the third customer of the day. However, the place quickly filled up and by 11:50 am it was full. Despite having only 122 reviews, this place seemed to be somewhere between a casual izakaya and a high-end one. The lunch menu consisted of daily specials, weekly specials, sashimi, grilled fish, ginger pork, etc., priced around 1000 yen. I ordered the "Godaigo Gozen" for 1300 yen, which included grilled fish, sashimi, fried items (shrimp fry, fried chicken), mentaiko, tofu, grated yam, and it was a great deal. Everything was delicious, including the miso soup with plenty of daikon. The rice was generous and you could have seconds for free. I sat at the counter where I could see the oden pot and a variety of shochu. This place seems nice, not too fancy but not cheap either. I think it's a great spot for regular dining. I would like to come back for dinner sometime. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal! (^_^)!

My partner and I were wandering around Shinbashi when we wondered if there was a yakitori restaurant in Corridor, and my partner mentioned having been to Godaigo-san before, so we decided to visit! They had a wide variety of skewers, including some unique options. While they recommended the oden, it was too hot for us to try this time, but we'd like to come back for it in the future. The dishes we had were: deep-fried octopus, grilled potato salad, assorted yakitori skewers, and sukiyaki skewers. All the skewers were to my liking! The staff were also very friendly, so I definitely want to visit again.

The restaurant was clean and had a sense of cleanliness, but personally, I thought the taste of the food was average and a bit underwhelming considering the price. I ordered raw tsukune, but what came was different from what I imagined. There's no way it would be raw, right?! I was convinced! Haha. The yellowtail and yuba carpaccio was delicious! The atmosphere was good, but I probably won't go back again.

A must-visit shop in the cold season. Enjoying oden with shochu dashi while drinking is a blissful moment. The sukiyaki skewers have a rich flavor that makes you crave for rice, and dipping them in egg yolk enhances the taste to perfection!

I use this restaurant for our regular girls' night out with six friends. I usually do the research for the restaurant. This time, we wanted oden or hot pot because it's cold, so I picked out various options and we decided on this place that none of us had been to before! We made a reservation two weeks in advance for a Friday night. The restaurant is located in Corridor Street and it was crowded because it was a Friday night! The place was already fully booked when we arrived! The course we chose this time was the Gion Course with all-you-can-drink for 5,500 yen including tax. The menu included seasonal appetizers, daikon and crispy yuba salad, sashimi and seasonal vegetables carpaccio, Kyoto-style oden assortment, baked oysters, crab sauce over rolled omelette, chicken meatball hot pot, and udon for the finish. The service was good, there were counter seats, table seats, and private rooms available. The all-you-can-drink course started at 5,500 yen. It was perfect for our girls' night out! Even though the dishes were served individually, it was easy to share even with a large group. The oden assortment included daikon, egg, konjac, thick fried tofu, and bamboo shoots, with condiments like mustard, plum sauce, and green onions. There was also powdered sansho pepper and black shichimi pepper on the table, as well as salt. The crab sauce over rolled omelette was delicious, and everyone loved the chicken meatballs. We all wanted to eat a whole tube of it each! There were plenty of vegetables, and we finished with the udon. Despite eating oden and hot pot, we were all pleasantly full! It was also Setsubun that day, so we were given beans as a service. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. Thank you for the meal!

Ginza Godaigo, 4 minutes from Ginza. Godaigo Gozen for 1200 yen. A Japanese restaurant located in the Ginza corridor street! I tried the recommended Godaigo Gozen by the staff. It had sashimi, grilled fish, fried dishes, cold tofu, grated yam with spicy cod roe, and a variety of options that made the rice go down smoothly. The miso soup was delicious with a flavorful broth. The daily specials are priced below 1000 yen, allowing you to choose between a meat or fish dish, which is great. In the evening, it seems to be a place for Kyoto-style oden and Japanese sake. With 8 counter seats and many table seats, it is easy to enter alone and enjoy a leisurely lunch.... #Godaigo #GinzaGodaigo #GinzaJapaneseFood #GinzaOden #TokyoLunch #GinzaLunch #GinzaDinner #GinzaGourmet #HibiyaLunch #HibiyaDinner #YurakuchoLunch #YurakuchoDinner #TokyoGourmet #Foodstagram #TokyoGourmetTour #TokyoGourmetClub #TokyoLunch #WantToConnectWithPeopleWhoLikeEating #WantToConnectWithPeopleWhoLikeGourmet #NogumaLunch #NogumaDinner #NogumaGourmet #NogumaGourmetGinza #NogumaGourmetHibiya #NogumaGourmetYurakucho #GinzaLunch #Ginza #Foodstagram

Ginza Godaigo was the restaurant I found while wandering around looking for a place to have dinner on the last day of the New Year holidays. It is located a 3-minute walk from Ginza Station. The restaurant had a Foodie rating of 3.36 as of January 4, 2023. The budget is around ¥6,000 per person, and they accept card payments. When I visited at 7:00 pm, the restaurant was almost full, but luckily I was able to get a table without waiting. I ordered a variety of items including a selection of 5 types of oden, a mixed plate of grilled chicken skewers, assorted pickles, and tonpei-yaki. I also added some additional oden items priced between ¥200 and ¥400 each. The food was delicious! The warm oden was perfect for the cold evening, and the wide range of sake options complemented the meal well. Despite the lively atmosphere in the Corridor Street, I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was and left very satisfied. I would recommend this restaurant for outings with friends, casual dates, or with colleagues.

I visited the restaurant at 1:00 pm on a weekday. About 20% of the seats were occupied. The interior was spacious with counter seats and table seats. I ordered the weekly special grated pork cutlet set meal. It came out a few minutes after ordering, which was good, but the cutlet tasted like it had been reheated. It was just okay in terms of flavor. The set meal came with soup and side dishes, and it was priced at under 1000 yen, so I think it was reasonably good value. Since the restaurant seemed to specialize in oden, the evaluation might change if I had tried an oden menu item.

Last time I went with my work colleagues, so I couldn't eat what I wanted at all, so this time I went with a friend after work. When winter comes, do you also have an irresistible craving for oden like me?! This time, we ordered hanpen (fish cake), daikon radish, konjac, mochi, kinkan (kumquat), nama-fu (wheat gluten), potatoes, sashimi platter, crispy fried stingray fin, burdock root, and tofu skin carpaccio, and ginkgo nuts. We also had two glasses of plum wine, tea, and sake. I wanted to eat more, but I was too full to continue! Every dish was delicious, and I definitely want to go back to this restaurant. Especially the stingray fin and tofu skin carpaccio were exquisite. I have a weakness for stingray fin, so I always end up ordering it when I see it on the menu! The total bill for two people was around 10,000 yen, so it might be a bit pricey for oden, but the quality is excellent, so I am satisfied!

During the daytime, the streets of Corridor are not crowded with people trying to pick you up, unlike Otemachi and Marunouchi. You can enjoy a reasonably priced lunch there. I had the oyster fry set meal at Godaigo, a Japanese creative cuisine restaurant. The oysters, freshly fried, were very tender and juicy. The grated yam and homemade miso soup were also delicious. And all of this for only 900 yen! I will definitely go back again.

I visited the restaurant on Monday around 5:30 pm. It is located in Corrido Street and has a typical atmosphere of an oden shop, which was promising. Today, I decided to try various dishes individually with high expectations. I forgot to take photos after the first one, but everything was delicious and I was very satisfied! Especially, the oden had a perfectly seasoned broth that was delicious, and the ganmo and daikon were exceptional, a must-try dish! The skewers were also grilled over charcoal in the restaurant, which was also delicious, so be sure to try them! Lastly, they have a wide selection of sake, so sake lovers will definitely appreciate it! The payment can be made with PayPay, and card payments are also accepted, which is convenient! Thank you for the meal!

During this cold season, do you find yourself craving for hot pot dishes like oden? If you decide to drop by without a reservation, you might not find a seat available on the day! So, if you're looking for a place near Corridor Street where it's easy to make a reservation for oden, this might be the spot. Although I was determined to focus on oden this time (unlike my previous visit when I just watched the OL girls at the counter eating oden), my appetite seemed a bit off that day. We both didn't seem to have much of an appetite (our conversation also got too deep, haha), so we ended up losing our motivation, sorry about that. We ended up ordering some light appetizers like shirako ponzu and a mixed oden platter cooked in a pot. It was a bit confusing, but we were able to enjoy some drinks due to the self-restraint request for COVID-19, so if we could have a cheap meal and get by, it was fine. It seems like I used the phrase "anyway" a lot, is it just me? It's not bad, but the menu is quite general (not specialized in a specific genre), so the yakitori and oden are just average. It's okay to have oden at a normal izakaya, like a versatile option maybe? In any case, thank you for the meal!

"Ginza Godaigo" is an oden restaurant located in a corner of the Ginza Corridor street. The exterior of the restaurant stands out with its white walls and white lanterns. On this day, we visited with four people around 8:30 PM on a Saturday. The clean interior has an atmosphere that even women can feel comfortable in. The seating options include counter seats, tables, and private rooms. The dinner menu includes Kyoto-style oden and grilled skewers made with ingredients from all over Japan. They also have a wide selection of Japanese sake brands. We enjoyed dishes such as "Yuba and Firefly Squid" (appetizer), "Kyoto-style Oden Assortment" (5 kinds), "Umeshu" plum liqueur, "Fried Ginkgo Nuts" with salt, "Chicken Skin with Ponzu Sauce," and "Iburi Gakko" pickles from Akita. The oden broth is made without any chemical seasonings, using kombu and bonito as a base to create a light Kyoto-style flavor. All five ingredients were delicious, but the daikon radish and egg were particularly tasty as they absorbed the broth well. The "Fried Ginkgo Nuts" had a crispy texture and a unique bittersweet taste that paired perfectly with alcohol. The staff's service was polite, leaving a good impression. Since there were many female customers, if you are looking for a place to have a girls' night out, this restaurant could be a good option to consider.

I had a healthy Japanese lunch today after walking around Corridor Street and the back streets of Ginza to decide. I went to "Godaigo" and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing Negitoro bowl for only 900 yen. It came with Negitoro, half-boiled egg, grated yam, two pieces of mentaiko, and a fresh salad. The pork miso soup was also full of ingredients and felt like a great deal. I was impressed by the restaurant's style and attitude. The taste, service, and consideration were all wonderful, and they quickly replaced my barley tea when it ran out. I visited for lunch, but I definitely want to come back for dinner. The evening menu looked just as enticing. The interior was cozy and had a calming atmosphere, with a touch of luxury from the step floor. I later found out that it is part of a chain called Daiwa Exceed, which I will definitely consider visiting again in the future.

It's cold so I was in the mood for oden! I made a reservation at this restaurant in Ginza and headed out! Even though it was early, there were a few customers. As expected in Ginza! First, I cheers with a Chita Highball! Next, I had the famous Kyoto-style oden! I enjoyed daikon, egg, potato, konjac, beef tendon, grilled eggplant, and shirataki. It's Kyoto-style so it's lightly seasoned, but the dashi broth has a gentle flavor and was delicious!

Godaigo Ginza store - Spicy lotus root - Oden (oysters, rolled omelette, daikon radish, hanpen fish cake) - Ginkgo tempura - Pork-wrapped eringi mushrooms - Appetizers (grated whitebait, yuba tofu skin) - Stingray fin menu choices are still great for a drinker. Everything I ate was delicious as usual. I've always liked oden with rolled omelette. Ginza was crowded with people on Friday night.

I visited an oden izakaya in Ginza 7-chome, on Corridor Street for lunch. The restaurant normally operates only at night, so the casual dimly lit interior and L-shaped counter seating were welcoming. Although they offered dishes like pork ginger and mackerel with miso marinade, I opted for the weekly special, a Japanese-style kenchin hamburger set for ¥900. It arrived within 5 minutes, accompanied by cold tofu, grated yam, rice, miso soup, and pickles. The salad was a nice addition. The hamburger had a firm texture and while it didn't feel homemade, the price and quick service made up for it. The staff was friendly and the overall experience was pleasant. I would definitely visit again if given the chance. Thank you for the meal!

When asked what to eat, I couldn't decide, so someone made a reservation for this restaurant. The lineup is suitable for all ages and genders, with a good variety of dishes based on Japanese cuisine, including oden, soba, yakitori, and more, all at a relatively reasonable price. Compared to Ginza, Corridor Street is more affordable. As expected, it's perfect for a girls' night out, with an atmosphere that is easy to use on a daily basis. The appetizer is yuba and sweet potato stew. The yuba and daikon salad is quite voluminous, with shredded daikon that is difficult to pick up with the wooden fork and spoon provided. This type of shallow wooden cutlery is not suitable for sharing. I wish they had tongs. I tried the quail eggs, which are currently popular, with a strong flavor. The liver skewers were delicious, as well as the tebasaki and bonjiri. Grilling the ray fin with a brazier is also fun. The grilling ginkgo nuts and soba noodles were ordered for the finale. The soba noodles were smaller than expected, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied or relieved, perhaps? When ordering the oden assortment, they serve it in a large pot, which is a nice touch both visually and taste-wise. It's perfect for the winter season. Thank you for the meal. The seats at the back are a bit cramped and uncomfortable. It would be better to have a counter or a larger table for four people.

I visited a popular restaurant called Codory Machi under the JR elevated tracks. I ordered a platter of 5 types of oden, a sashimi platter with 3 types of fish, and fried eggplant. The oden included daikon radish, konjac, boiled egg, fish balls, and chikuwa. The combination of miso and konjac was particularly delicious. The sashimi platter had squid, bonito tuna, and seared bonito, each with ginger, wasabi, and greens as garnish. The fried eggplant was a large eggplant cut into quarters and served with plenty of bonito flakes, shredded nori, ginger, and soy sauce. The prices were reasonable for the Ginza area, and they also have private rooms for gatherings. I will definitely consider coming back for a casual drinking session.

I was wandering around looking for dinner when I was drawn into a restaurant by the nice atmosphere and the words "oden" and "grilled skewers". The appetizer of conger eel and cucumber vinegar and fresh yuba got me excited! The seafood salad with wasabi soy dressing was great, and the juicy fried chicken was delicious. The lemon salt pickles were a unique and refreshing touch! The most impressive dish was the grilled skewer with bell pepper stuffed with rice cake and mentaiko, wrapped in pork. It was exciting and delicious! I tried the oden with beef tendon, yuba, daikon radish, and konjac. The daikon radish was soaked in broth and very tasty. The yuba was fluffy and amazing! I definitely want to go back again.
