Hamura City and the Hamura City Chamber of Commerce and Industry are promoting a local gourmet dish called "Ham Rice Gourmet." Originally, it seemed to be a menu development using Hamura-grown rice and ham, but somehow it evolved into "as long as it uses rice and ham, it's okay." I tried to research if the dish is actually served at the restaurants listed on their website, but I couldn't find it on the menu section of Tabelog, and there were only old posts on social media. I was hesitant to try it out because it's tough to be told "we don't have it" after going to eat to support (for material), but this time it was listed on the menu for real! And this was even though it wasn't on the city or chamber of commerce's website. I wondered where they used the rice, and it turns out it's in the crepe batter with rice flour. On a day when I became a lunch refugee due to work in the morning, I stopped by. There are parking spaces for two cars in front of the store a little off the main street, and it seems there are more across the street. You can eat in, but I opted for takeout since I had to move. They use pre-baked crepes with homemade smoked butter spread on them, topped with microwaved fillings, and rolled up. The combination of the smoked butter's saltiness and lettuce is great. If you add a fried egg, it becomes a perfect meal crepe for me. It's also easy for older gentlemen to stop by since it was not crowded, so I'll come back when I feel like having something sweet again.

Today, I really wanted to eat crepes, so I went to "54 CAFE and CREPE" near Hamura Station. When I entered the shop, I thought it was just called "54 Cafe," sorry about that. The menu had a wide variety of options, and after much deliberation, I ordered a butter caramel crepe with whipped cream on top. The crepe had a crispy texture on the edges and a chewy texture in the middle. The combination of butter caramel and whipped cream was delicious. My child ordered a sweet potato fries set, which had a perfect balance of sweetness and crispy texture. I also noticed other fried food options, especially cheese-based ones, which I would like to try next time. I also saw they had sweet potato yokan chantilly, which I would like to try as well. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. There is parking space for two cars in front of the building and a second parking lot nearby, so it's convenient for those driving.

I had a crepe at "54CAFE and CREPE" in Hamura. I cycled up the Tama River and stopped at the endpoint of the Tama River 50 cycling road, then headed towards Kosaku on the north side of the Ome Line. I didn't go there because a middle-aged man was attracted to the strawberry flavor, but because I heard they had unique options like Ome Pork and Yakitori Fried Rice flavor for 500 yen. There is seating inside the cafe, so you can enjoy your crepe without feeling embarrassed. The crepe was served wrapped in paper with perforated lines for easy tearing as you eat. Ome Pork had a sweet and savory taste, and when eaten with the yakitori fried rice with added mayonnaise, it felt like eating sobameshi. The crepe dough was soft, unlike the crispy texture of okonomiyaki, but when combined with the fillings, it made for a satisfying and substantial meal. They also had options like salad and ham rice, making it a crepe shop suitable for those who don't like sweet treats.

A crepe shop located along a main street northwest from Hamura Station. They have a cafe section as well, and offer services not found in chain crepe shops. The interior design seems to be inspired by America, reflecting the local atmosphere. There are also counter seats available for a quick bite. Whether you order a sweet or savory crepe, they are all deliciously made. The prices are reasonable, and the shop has a stylish yet friendly vibe. They also have a parking lot, so I would definitely want to visit again when I'm in the area.

This was my first visit and I had the butter caramel crepe. It was good, not great, just delicious in an ordinary way. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on the way back from shopping. I wanted to get revenge because last time I visited after the closing time and missed out. There are two parking spaces behind the store in the apartment building. There seems to be other parking lots as well. The atmosphere inside the store is like a bar. The staff were young crepe girls. The crepe was delicious with plenty of cream and sweet! The crispy potato side menu was also quite tasty. I was also interested in the Hokkaido potato. The collaboration of sweet and salty is the best! I used to go to Crazy Crepe in Nishiyu at Seiyu, but it's gone now... Sometimes I crave crepes, but there are few places around here where you can eat them, so I hope they do well.
