There is a building in Shibuya Center Gai with several ramen shops, and this shop is located on the first floor. Upon entering, there is a ticket machine where you can purchase your meal ticket. The main dish seems to be a soy sauce-based tonkotsu ramen. We decided to order the "Zekkouchou Kuro Maru" with garlic, along with a draft beer and some gyoza to share. We sat at a table near the entrance. The draft beer was refreshing after a short walk. The ramen arrived quickly, with a rich soy sauce tonkotsu broth. Although the garlic punch was not as strong as expected, the soup was flavorful. The noodles were a regular thickness and paired well with the soup. The toppings included egg, bamboo shoots, seaweed, and two kinds of chashu. The crunchy bamboo shoots were a highlight. The gyoza came in a serving of six and had a universal appeal, although I personally prefer gyoza with more garlic and chives. We enjoyed the gyoza with beer before diving into the soy sauce tonkotsu ramen. It was a bit much for a lunch portion. The ramen menu also includes options like spicy, yuzu, miso, and tantanmen.

To be honest, I don't think I will come back. The exterior of the restaurant was beautiful, but the staff seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. I felt uncomfortable waiting awkwardly without being greeted when I entered the restaurant. The menu variety, taste, and cleanliness of the restaurant were all good, but I hope they improve the customer service.

We went with two junior colleagues after work on Friday. We paid at the ticket machine first. To blow away the fatigue of the week, I chose the black maru with a garlic flavor. We were guided to the counter in the back where we could choose between thick noodles and thin noodles, and I chose thick noodles. The taste was delicious, but I thought it could use a bit more garlic, so I give it a 3.5. I would like to go again.

Thin noodles, thick noodles, you can adjust the firmness of the noodles and the amount of oil to your liking! It's perfect when you want something light and easy to eat. The restaurant seemed to cater to tourists as there were many foreigners inside. I should have tried the extra noodle refill option, you can eat a lot here! ☺️

Ordered the Zekkouchou Black Ramen (1000 yen), which is my usual go-to. It's strong on garlic, rich, and quite heavy. The ramen comes with plenty of chashu, kakuni, and meat. The noodles are medium-thin and go well with the soup. Overall, it's delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I used to occasionally visit this restaurant over 10 years ago. It had a typical Shibuya vibe and was one of those ramen shops in Shibuya that stayed open until morning. The ramen was decently tasty, with a unique Shibuya flavor that I liked. This visit after over 10 years was a late-night one with friends for a final ramen. I ordered the classic "Kuromaru" from the ticket machine, which used to cost 980 yen back then, but now it's a neat 1000 yen. The nostalgic Shibuya ramen arrived in front of me without much of a wait. However, the ramen looked completely different from what it used to be. The old "Kuromaru" had a suspiciously dark burnt soy sauce-like soup with floating chunks of fried garlic, giving off a devilish vibe. But thanks to the lard, the soup was scorching hot. The chashu looked tender and devilishly appetizing. Adding grated garlic on top of the ramen with a sense of taboo was irresistible. However, as time passed, the current state of this shop is laughable. It's just an average ramen shop surviving on its location. It's a different place from the shining gem it used to be. Despite attracting Shibuya customers, the satisfaction level is now below that of a chain store. The "Kuromaru" lacks the mysterious darkness it used to have. The appearance and garlic are nowhere to be found, leaving behind a salty taste without the depth and punch of flavor. The chashu is now a fake version, completely different from before. If the rating back then was 68 points, it's now below 20 points. For me, it's a 0-point experience. There was a time when we used to stop by after clubbing or with my girlfriend back then, saying "This place is delicious! Let's come again!" Those were the days. Now, everything seems to have deteriorated, perhaps due to that virus. The lively atmosphere and pride of the restaurant from the past are completely gone. It's truly sad. It's too sad, so I plan to check it out again during lunchtime.

I passed by this place and it looked delicious, so I bookmarked it and decided to visit. I ordered the recommended dish, the Special Maru (pork bone soy sauce) ramen with 6 dumplings and complimentary white rice. The white rice was free, but you have to request it at the vending machine. The Special Maru ramen and white rice arrived first. It was surprising how much white rice you get for free. The dumplings took a bit longer to arrive. I wish they had brought everything together. The ramen and dumplings were both delicious, with tasty pork, simmered pork, and a whole egg as shown on the poster. The food was good, but they could improve on their service.

I had some errands in Shibuya and stopped by Kindenmaru to have lunch/dinner while waiting. As expected from a Hokkaido ramen shop, the miso ramen was delicious. However, the staff seemed to be preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves and didn't pay much attention to the customers or the atmosphere inside the restaurant. It would be better if they were more attentive to the inside of the restaurant.

This is a ramen shop in Shibuya that is open until morning! Eating this rich ramen after drinking is incredibly delicious. Honestly, I think it tastes so good because you eat it after drinking. It's better to eat it after drinking rather than for a regular lunch. I highly recommend having it as a way to finish off a night of drinking in Shibuya!

The amount of noodles was surprisingly large. The noodles were cold, so the soup kept getting colder. The taste became diluted halfway through and it was a bit underwhelming. Despite thinking there was a lot, I ended up finishing it all. The morning tsukemen is the best. The wakame was subtly delicious.

I went here with my friends at night because we were hungry and it was close to the station. I had been here a few years ago after a night out at a club, and even in the morning, it was so crowded that we had to wait in line. This time, we went at night and the tables and counter were somewhat filled. I ordered the specialty extra-large noodles. The meat was tender and soft, and the flavor had soaked into the egg, making it delicious. I ordered thick noodles, so it was very satisfying to eat. The soup was rich and tasty. It was nice to have water within easy reach.

I went to a ramen shop in Shibuya that is open late at night. It is a lively shop near Mark City! It's nice that you can choose between thick noodles and thin noodles. The taste seems to be suitable for a late night meal. The staff working in the hall were efficient and I was able to enter smoothly! First, I bought a meal ticket and handed it to the staff. I chose the specialty Tokumaru. I selected firm noodles, normal fat, and normal flavor. I was guided to a counter seat and the ramen arrived after a short wait. I chose tonkotsu flavor. I found it a bit on the greasy side when I selected normal fat. Since I chose thin noodles, I was able to eat it smoothly! You can also order rice for free, which is a nice service! The gyoza (dumplings) in a set of 6 were delicious too. The lack of partitions between seats was a bit concerning. Thank you for the meal.

Located near the entrance of the Center Gai in front of Shibuya Station West Exit, this ramen shop is on the 1st floor of a "ramen building". Despite the state of emergency declaration, they are open for business after 8:00 pm. I have never seen it so crowded before, but it seems to be quite busy. Their specialty is the "Meibutsu Tokumaru Ramen" (900 yen), which is basically a ramen with all the toppings. I have visited their affiliated Shibuya Dogenzaka branch before, and if they make it the same way, then this shop probably also uses soup cooked in-house.

I want to eat ramen with my friends, so we went to Kin Tsukemen. Our order came out quickly, which made us very happy. The staff's customer service was great and made us feel warm inside. I had the Tan Tan Karuma, which was not as spicy as it looked, but had a nice spicy kick and was delicious. The price was also satisfying. Thank you Kin Tsukemen for the meal! I will definitely come back again!

Around 5:35 am on February 21, 2021, I finished work and was walking when I came across a restaurant that was open even at this time when I was feeling hungry. It's surprising to see a shop open at this time of day during these times. I've eaten here a few times before, but this will be my first review. I purchased the signature Tokumori ramen for 900 yen from the ticket machine, and when asked for my preference, I requested the noodles to be firm. There were a lot of young people who seemed to have just come from a club. Well, I'm also here at this time during these times, but most of the customers in the store are being very loud. I probably wouldn't visit this place unless it was a time like this. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes. The soup had a slight pork bone aroma without any unpleasant taste. The rich pork bone flavor was just right at this time and tasted delicious. The noodles were medium-thin and yellowish, very tangled and clumped together. The seasoned egg was neatly cut and had a subtle flavor, but it was delicious. The bamboo shoots had a sweet taste. The pork shoulder chashu had a momentary hint of a smell, probably from the soup. It was decently flavored, with a meaty texture. The braised pork belly was tender and well-cooked, but the taste was lacking a bit of punch. It had a somewhat cloying taste rather than being deliciously fatty. The seaweed and green onions were a nice touch. White rice was complimentary. The cost performance was not bad. It feels like it would be just right for late-night ramen when you're drunk, but I wouldn't think of coming here at other times when other places are open. However, I feel like I come here every 3 to 5 years, so I might visit again around that time. As the customer attitudes were poor, I have great respect for the staff who work in such conditions. Thank you for the meal.

Visited around 6:35 pm on January 15, 2021 (Friday). The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building with a distinctive paint design called Shibuya Building, just a 3-4 minute walk from Shibuya Station on various lines, right near the scramble intersection of Shibuya Center Street. The building houses various ramen shops, with each floor occupied by a different ramen restaurant. The entrance has a ticket vending machine where you can purchase your meal ticket before entering. Inside, there are 8 counter seats and two tables for 4 people each. The restroom is shared with other shops in the building on the 4th floor. The shop I visited had a review score of 3.29 based on 101 reviews. I ordered the "Miso Maru" for 900 yen, selecting thick noodles. The ramen came with a slice of pork, bean sprouts, seaweed, bamboo shoots, boiled egg, corn, and chopped green onions. The seaweed added a nice touch of nostalgia, and the pork was tender. The noodles were cooked just right, although I think a softer texture would have been better with the thick noodles. The miso-based soup was rich and flavorful. Overall, it was a well-rounded ramen from a long-standing shop. I am concerned about the decrease in customers due to the state of emergency. The bill came to 900 yen for a satisfying meal before my night shift.

I ordered the Zekkouchou Black Ramen with thin noodles. It had a strong garlic flavor and was delicious. The noodles were not extremely thin despite being called thin noodles. They offer options to adjust the taste and oil level, so I would like to try that next time. White rice is complimentary. The extra noodle refill was only 100 yen, which is great for those who want to eat a lot. The taste was delicious, the service was quick, and the staff were friendly. I will definitely go back.

I used this restaurant for the first time in the middle of the night. It is located in a very convenient location, with convenience stores, shoe stores, slightly expensive cafes, and other ramen shops nearby! However, the only ramen shop open late at night is Kindenmaru, which is always helpful. The taste is incredibly delicious, not too rich, and the firmness of the noodles is just right, making it very enjoyable! The shop itself is small, but it's open late at night so it tends to fill up quickly! There is no parking nearby. I always end up eating tsukemen, so next time I go, I will try something different! ❤️
