Lately, there has been a surge of new yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) and sushi restaurants opening in Akasaka. It seems like there are about 30 of each within a 500-meter radius, making it a highly competitive area. However, the quality has improved significantly as a result. One of these restaurants is particularly noteworthy. It is said that the chef used to work at a restaurant near Mikawashima Station before branching out on his own here. They serve Tajima Ota beef, a premium brand of beef, for their yakiniku. What's interesting is that their yakiniku isn't heavy and is seasoned with a slightly Japanese twist, making it refreshing to eat. The bright red beef liver is unexpectedly delicious, with a rich liver aroma that is irresistible. The crunchy texture of the fresh water eel sashimi was also a unique and tasty experience. The service was great, with the beef tongue being served in two pieces as a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this place!

We visited the restaurant with our colleagues. Everything we ate was delicious and we were very satisfied. We had the Haneshi course, and the three of us, without worrying about the price, spent about 20,000 yen on food and drinks. The taste was excellent and the cost performance was also good. We will visit again.

The interior of the restaurant feels a bit cramped, but the atmosphere is very nice. They have a wide variety of meat options, including some cuts that I had never heard of before. The oxtail soup was a big hit with everyone at the table. Unfortunately, I got too caught up in the moment and forgot to take photos of all the courses. I definitely want to bring my colleagues here in the future.

I saw this restaurant in a magazine before, I think it moved, right? The name of the restaurant is Horumon, but I wonder if Horumon is not the main dish? Something with "meat" is delicious. I recommend coming with close friends. As others have written, the seating for two is narrow. The table is about 60 centimeters wide, and you can hear all the conversations from the neighboring table on the other side of the narrow aisle. It feels like they maximized the seating capacity by design. I wonder why they didn't use a smokeless roaster. Since there is a tube hanging down for smoke extraction, you can't see your partner's face. You have to lean back to talk, otherwise your right foot will be in the aisle. The "meat" is delicious, but I wish they had put more thought into the design. If you can enjoy the meal with a good company, it is a recommended restaurant. I went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. Of course, I made a reservation before going. It was a bit small for two people. The table was small too. The course we had was 7800 yen, which included homemade namul. The photo shows portions for two people. The menu included Chorogi salad, Chateaubriand, carefully selected salt-grilled makiro, thick-cut tongue, cooked with Japan's top-quality eggs. They also served Ota beef tail broth, seasonal grilled vegetables, shiitake mushrooms, and marinated daikon radish. The daikon radish, should it be grilled? (laughs) They also served two types of carefully selected grilled meats, Ichibo, and Togarashi miso. They also served grilled shabu-shabu with daikon wrapping. A special cold noodle dish was served as well as dessert. We had red wine by the bottle. I didn't find the salt-grilled dishes to be of a high level, but the sauce-grilled dishes were delicious. The course itself wasn't that expensive, so I don't think the cost performance is bad. In the high-end yakiniku battleground of Akasaka, how does this level of restaurant fare?

I made a reservation through Tabelog and visited the restaurant. I only reserved a seat, but decided to order the Haneshi course for 5800 yen on the day. The course included Namul, salad, 3 types of salt-grilled dishes, grilled meat with egg, dashi shiitake, 2 types of grilled dishes, 3 types of hormone, cold noodles, and pudding. The service was good, the portion size was generous, and the taste was good (not extremely delicious, but quite tasty). Considering the content and price, it is a very good deal! The only downside was that the egg came with truffle oil by default, and since I don't like truffles, it was disappointing for me... I will ask for the truffle oil to be removed next time and revisit!

I have used the previous store several times, and I was satisfied with the taste of the meat, the quality of the meat, and the presentation. The yukhoe was also delicious and reasonably priced. I would like to use it again. I am a smoker, so I wished I could smoke even with just a heated cigarette.

Even with children, we were able to eat with peace of mind in a private room. The staff were kind and the service was impeccable! Since it was our first time dining there, we opted for the course menu. The quality of the meat was excellent, and even my nephew who usually fusses and doesn't eat much, devoured his meal and it was truly delicious. Personally, I really enjoyed the first draft beer, it was so delicious that it made for a great start and I was very happy. I highly recommend this place to those with children.

The meat and side dishes are delicious, and the drinks are more affordable compared to nearby places. However, the seating is too cramped! The distance between two-person seats is too far! It's hard to have a conversation. The taste is not bad, so it feels like a waste. If you have three or more people, the four-person table might be better.
